G2 doing good work to challenge this closely but Navi win the round match and series with just 0.2 left on the defuse.   Great highlight but also they should not let s1mple clutch like this knowing how he is capable of this and more, forcing him to plant and then forcing him with multiple attacks would not have failed imo but hard to blame them.
Navi deserve the next major win imo

Unfortunately did not have enough time to watch T1 qualifiers but I placed some bets and followed the results. Really surprised NaVi is out. Not so much that they are out but more with the way how they exited. I can forgive them loosing to HellRaisers but loosing to Team Empire is a bit too much Smiley

I am expecting Spirit - Hellraisers final and it should be one hell of a match as tomahawk9 already mentioned.

Eh , I've watched only Na'vi and Empire games and they were good games. However, HellRaiser is a really top team that normally should go out there and win the series but team Empire has this depressed kid ( this is his name and he's just 16 years old if you can believe it ) and has amazing skills and mechanics with all heroes that he is playing so for this fact and for what I've seen with team Empire today I will place a small bet on them.

In the EEU Qualifiers for TI Navi just got eliminated by Team Empire, so we will definitely not see Navi in this years TI. It's pretty sad when one of the most established and well known Teams don't even make it to the biggest tournament. AS Monaco Gambit is also already out with a very bad performance they lost their first match in the upper bracket against Hellraisers and then they also lost in their lower bracket match against Fantastic Five, a team that i never heard of before. Team Spirit looked very strong so far in this tournament and they probably deserve it to go to the TI as they have by far the most DPC points of all participants.
Honestly, I thought that Na'Vi is the one that will be qualified on this region. They're strong in terms of the roster with 3 former VP players, one of the best hard support, and one of the best carry on their region. I've eyed them that shall win this slot but a surprise that Team Empire lost them. Well I guess, we're going to see it's either Team Spirit that shall take this slot, they've been consistent in all of the tournaments that they've joined. HR is strong too. We'll see.

But The Na'Vi hype is unreal ...I mean I get it they have a huge fan base ( including me ( but lets be honest and admit that this team had its glory a long time ago. Today games were at some point in the favor of Na'vi but team Empire really has a strong background even since 2005 so no wonder Na'vi had a hard game. Now , Team Empire is playing with PuckChamp and it's 1-0 for Empire BO3.

Yup  Cheesy Betting on DWG is a pain recently killed one of my parlays on the last leg and i'm planning to bet against them next week as they'll face GenG. They're struggling because i've heard that the management decided to bench Ghost their adc and they don't have a replacement so they're forced to do roleswaps and at this rate I feel like they won't qualify for Worlds.
Gen.G's gonna destroy DWG

Oi! keep your eyes open tomorrow, we're gonna have some good games: Team WE - Rare Atom, FPX - RNG[1] and Afreeca Freecs - Gen.G in the LCK. If you fancy the LEC we're gonna have El Clasico: G2 - Fnatic  Cool

1. (btw, do you also see FPX as "Nadel"? wtf??)

This was bound to happen sooner or later after all those changes they made in the roster this year. Pretty sad to see a big team in such state

Navi out. Monaco Gambit out. Only Team Spirit remains to save the honour of the top tier teams in the region. Talking about TS, hell of a game they just had against Hellraisers with a tremendous comeback in game 3. If they meet again in the final is gonna be a banger!

@ralle14  i have a feeling we're the only ones who are into LCK and LPL here :-P

talking about the koreans, DWG are a shadow of their former self, eh? they're looking extremely inconsistant after the MSI. There was a time when this team was unstoppable and bookmakers priced the -1.5 handicap super low. Today i thought there was some value at 1.8 odds (HLE record is 1W-4L so far), but silly me, it was a damn trap cos DWG are dogshit right now. Watch them get 2-0'd by Hanwha Life 😒

Riding Team Spirit 2-0 one last time, Hellraisers pulled the upset against Navi but from what i've seen that's more on Navi's bad performance as they lost against a techies draft. Last time these two met was during the Pinnacle cup and it ended 2-0 for Team Spirit.

I've thought of the same as they might fall to the same place just as the Animajor. Speaking of Dota 2 and The International 10. Have you guys read the news that there's a problem about the location where it must be held? in Sweden. Valve has released and important and sad update about it.

An Important Update on TI10: The International - Dota 2 Championships in Sweden
I wasnt aware on that one so i do make out some research:
https://ph.news.yahoo.com/dota-2-ti10-to-be-moved-to-another-venue-europe-after-sweden-snub-010444896.html

"will be moved away from its planned venue in Stockholm, Sweden, to a different country in Europe after the Swedish government refused to give the tournament official recognition."

So it would be on different country but still in Europe. It doesnt matter on what would be the venue would be as long the event would commence on.
It's disappointing because AFAIK, Valve has talked already with them since 2019 before the pandemic has started. It's really disappointing that some of fans have already thought that it will happen in Sweden.

Well, I wish that Valve will find that another country who's willing to agree with their terms, both terms, Valve and the host country. But if there's none, I'm sure that Kyiv is going to be their final choice where the Animajor has happened.
You know that government would really be making out such immediate decisions if they arent feed up that well and just posting up some reasons which are just some cover up just not to make them look bad or simply people could tell about some valid reason.

It doesnt really that much of a concern since Valve could really make out some adjustment even though its a bit in a rush time but it would really be that much of an issue.

As long as the event would continue and wont make any delays then that what matter most.

anyone watching the LCK? it's been an hour and T1 - Nonshim are still playing game 1. Longest game in the LCK this year. Even the timer bugged after it reached 60 minutes Roll Eyes

Such a tense game, and i'm here just waiting for this to hit lol
Yup, I tuned in mid game and thought NS had it in the bag so I switched to the dota qualifiers for several mins then came back to T1 still holding in to their base. lol

That was probably one of the longest LCK game i've witnessed this year and good job on taking the handicap.   Cheesy

I currently have Team Spirit 2-0 as my pick since they looked flawless yesterday.

T1 won the ESL One Summer 2021 with 3-2 as the final score. It was an interesting match and on top of that, its always good to have all 5 map played for the Grand Final.
Congratulations to T1.

I thought that Virtus.Pro is going to get the crown for ESL One Summer, both teams are already qualified to TI so they don't have to think of the pressure what's on it after this tournament.

Whey had been dropped on lower bracket i wasnt really hoping nor expect for T1 to go with the finals. They should really be making even more better

specially for the upcoming TI because this tournament is totally different and also im rooting for Secret too which is obviously saving up some strats

for the upcoming international.

Adding up on what you had shared @hamphser

Quote
The initial plan for The International 10 to be held at Avicii Arena at Stockholm, Sweden was denied by the Swedish Sports Federation, leaving the final venue for TI10 up to discussions again.

According to the announcement by DOTA 2, The Minister of the Interior of Sweden failed to recognize The International – Dota 2 Championships as an elite sporting event. As a result of this, everyone seeking to acquire a visa for travel into Sweden for TI10 (including players, talent, and staff) would be rejected.

These government ruling is really pain in the ass.. Ive been quite excited for the upcoming TI but since the other venue is already on the talks then there
no way for some postponement again.

If there isn't a lot of things at stake in a tournament like this charity tournament, it's not necessary to show all the cards up your sleeve, remember that you want to show your best when it matters the most, there are ways to make the game interesting without the worry of showing all you got.
You got a point but you don't really want your fans to be seeing that you aren't playing at your best, remember that a lot of people have a really good eye in performance so you have to balance between entertainment and performance.

I think that even if it is a charity match, they still have to show everything that they've got because people are expecting that they will be able to make a good show for the audience.

I agree if anything this is kind of a showmatch or glorified scrims for the teams involved since all of them will still get a piece of the reward and pick their chosen charities just like last year.
