[DOTA 2] Only a few more rounds until the end of the EPIC League Division 2 group stage. Yellow Submarine are the best team so far in the league, while Cyberium and Nemiga are holding bottom positions. Here are my Tuesday picks and predictions.

Winstrike vs Yellow Submarine: Yellow Submarine ML

Yellow Submarine is definitely the best team in this league. With a clean 5-0 score, they are holding 1st place in division 2. They’ve managed to take down 2 teams from the upper part of the division. 2-0 vs Live to Win and 2-1 vs Ninjas in Pyjamas made them the top contenders for the Division 2 title overall. In the last month or so, those two teams have played 2 times. Their recent encounter went in Yellow Submarine’s favour, as the match ended up 2-0. The match before that, Winstrike took the 2-0 victory. However, Yellow Submarine are killing it lately and their last loss was vs Just Error almost 2 weeks ago. While Winstrike managed to take down only Cyberium lately, Yellow Submarine are big big favourites to take this series. Winstrike is currently ranked as a 3rd team in the division, but with the most matches played. They are currently holding 4 wins and 4 losses. Their losses vs Empire or Gambit surely doesn’t go in their favour.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Spider Pigz: Ninjas in Pyjamas ML

This can potentially be a very close series. NiP just lost to Gambit 1-2 in the last round, and Spider Pigz lost to Live to Win with the same score. Both teams are fighting for the top of the table, but Spider Pigz need this win more, as they played 1 match less than their opponents. This is the series that can go either way, I feel like. In their last 4 matches, NiP have only 1 win. However, they’ve managed to take a map vs Yellow Submarine, which is pretty decent. Spider Pigz have 2 wins out of 4 matches, and they have a win vs Winstrike, the same team that won against Ninjas. I’ve decided to go with NiP here, just because of their experience in such matches. That can be a deciding factor. Otherwise, they are playing terribly, and their form is dropping lately. However, all taken in account, it should be a close match, 55-45 for NiP in my opinion. Over 2.5 maps is a good bet here too, as there is a high potential for us to see all 3 maps.

Gambit vs Live to Win: Live to Win ML

Gambit is on a 2 match winning streak. 2-1 vs Winstrike and 2-1 vs Ninjas in Pyjamas. Overall, they are still undefeated in EPIC League and they are looking pretty good. However, Live to Win is not a team that they should take lightly. With 3 wins and 1 loss, Live to Win is surely a team that needs to finish in top 4 at the end. If not, that will be a big failure for them. They are looking pretty strong on the paper, and in their matches they are showing some good plays and performances. They could be a one team from the CIS region with a potential great future. But, let’s wait and see, as the CIS scene is usually very unstable regarding Dota 2 squads. Live to Win are favourites here and with decent 1.5 or higher odds, they are a good bet to go. If they continue to raise their level of play, I think they can be the 2nd best team right after Yellow Submarine. This will be the first clash between those two teams.

[DOTA 2] Three matches will be played on Monday in EPIC League Division 2. The northern team 5men has disbanded, and now we are looking at only 9 teams fighting it out. The situation is getting pretty clear on the top of the division rankings, but a hard battle is still going on in the middle of the table. Let’s check out the upcoming matches.

Team Empire vs Winstrike: Winstrike ML

This is a CIS tier 2 clash. Two tier 2 teams, Empire and Winstrike are on the same level currently. However, Winstrike is doing a little bit better. With 4 wins and 3 losses they are holding a high 3rd place in the rankings currently. From their best results in this league let’s just mention 2-0 vs Ninjas in Pyjamas, and two close 1-2 series vs Live to Win and Gambit. They showed some good games and maps, and I’m positive that they can beat the weaker Empire. Empire is in the bottom part of the table with 2 wins and 3 losses. This year, these two teams haven’t played any official matches together. Winstrike are obviously in a much better form now, and they are favourites to take this series. Decent odds, good bet on Winstrike ML. Winstrike wants to stay top 4 for sure. This win is a priority for them.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Gambit: Ninjas in Pyjamas ML

Ninjas are not looking good to be honest. From a really good squad with a lot of potential, they’ve dropped to a mediocre rank. They are struggling, and their current future doesn’t look bright. In the few matches, they’ve even played with 1 or 2 standins. I still don’t have any info on what their lineup will be today, so let’s be careful about this match and bet. They are currently 4-2 in this division as they’ve managed to take some wins vs the weakest teams in the division like Cyberium, Nemiga and Empire. On the other side, Gambit has a 2-1 win vs Winstrike, the same team that beat NiP with a strong 2-0 score. That may mean something. NiP are slight favourites here, even though their recent games haven’t looked good. I believe they have the strength to bounce back and perform here. Gambit may be a really good up and coming squad here, we will have more info about them at the end of the group stage, as they are still a new squad.

Spider Pigz vs Live to Win: Live to Win ML

The roster of Tempo Esports left the organization on November 16th and they are now playing as Spider Pigzs. They are high in the rankings with 2 straight wins and 1 free win vs the disbanded 5men. They have super impressive wins vs Empire and Winstrike. However, now they need to face a team that is equal to them. This will be a really hard close match, but I’m giving slightly more chance to Live to Win. Really good, young CIS Dota 2 squad with a great potential. They have a 2-1 win vs Winstrike and 0-2 loss vs Yellow Submarine, but Submarines are the best team here in the end, so that was kinda expected. iLTW, fn and AfterLife can surely carry Live to Win to this win. This may go to all 3 maps, but I believe Live to Win has a better chance to take this series. Could be a really close match, but my pick here is Live to Win. This will be the first clash between those two teams.

[DOTA 2] Day 6 of EPIC League Division 1 kicks off and after a few days off, Team Secret is coming back to play their 3rd match

OG - ViKingg: OG, 1.63 @ MY BETSLIP
Nigma - Just Error: Just Error, 2.11 @ MY BETSLIP
Secret - Liquid: Secret, 1.17 @ MY BETSLIP

I must pick OG here. There is no straight favourite in this match. Odds are realtively even, maybe slightly better on OG. I must go with NoTail here. Vikin.gg are the hottest European squad right now. They are unbeatable. They beat Liquid two times, they’ve crushed Team Secret 2-0 and a strong Mudgolems 2-1. They are currently holding 1st place in the rankings with 3 straight wins and 6-3 in maps. OG has 2 losses from 3 matches. They beat the currently weak Alliance, but lost to Virtus.Pro and Nigma. They are struggling at the moment, but they are the team that can beat anyone at any moment. This will be a close series. It’s possible that Vikin.gg can continue their winning streak, but I’m picking OG here. Their individual quality is just too strong. Hopefully they will finally do some good draft and picks.

Since Kuroky returned, Nigma has been doing awesome. 2 wins out of 3 matches in this league for now brought them to the upper half of the standings. They lost to Mudgolems, but they beat OG 2-1 and Alliance yesterday 2-0. On the other side, there is so much potential in Just Error, but they still haven’t found their pace. Yesterdays loss vs their ex team Virtus.Pro hit them hard. They had a 1-0 lead, but managed to drop the series 1-2. After their recent wins, Nigma are surely slight favourites here, but NoOne and Sumail can explode anytime. I’m going with another underdog here.

Finally, Team Secret is back on schedule. The most expected and the most watched team in Europe will play their 3rd match in this league. For now, they have 1 win vs Mudgolems and 1 loss vs Vikin.gg. Their 0-2 loss vs Vikin.gg was devastating. Team Secret’s run has been stopped. After 7 straight tournament championships, they are down. They missed in ESL One Germany, finishing only in 4th place. They didn’t start well in this tournament either. Does that mean they are burnt out from hard and busy online schedules or are their opponents finally learning how to counter their style. Time will tell. Liquid is in the bottom of the rankings with 3 losses, and they are another team that has dropped in form a lot recently. From the ESL One Germany title, to the possibility of not advancing to the playoffs here. In any way, Secret are favourites here, and I’m picking them to win this match.

[DOTA 2] Today is the 5th match day of the EPIC League Division 1. This $500,000 league is featuring the top Dota 2 European / CIS teams.

Virtus Pro - Just Error: Just Error, 2.48 @ MY BETSLIP
ViKin.gg - Mudgolems: Over 2.5, 1.91 @ MY BETSLIP
Nigma - Alliance: Over 2.5, 1.82 @ MY BETSLIP

This new Virtus.Pro squad has played only 1 official match together. They crushed OG 2-0 in their first match together in the new EPIC League. They were losing early / mid game in both maps, but in the end they managed to turn around both maps to their favour. They were big underdogs in that series. The same as Just Error in this series. Sumail’s squad are underdogs here, as most of the sportsbooks are favouring young Virtus.Pro squad here. Just Error is another new Dota 2 squad. Made of ex Virtus.Pro players (NoOne, Ramzes, Solo, Zayac) and Sumail they are one of the strongest Dota 2 squads in Europe, at least on paper. With such a lineup and individual skills, they shouldn’t be afraid of anybody. However, I wonder how Sumail will adapt to a fully russian speaking squad. Communication can be the problem here, and that is their biggest minus. In this clash, we have amazing teamplay (Virtus.Pro) vs individual quality (Just Error). I’m going against the odds here, and my coins are on Just Error today. I think there is a lot of potential in this team, and they must explode. There is a great value in this bet.

It’s so hard to predict this match. This will be an amazing series with two teams that deserve more credit than they have right now. This should be a match with a lot of hype, but these teams are not representing any bigger organizations and they don’t have any high value players, so the hype is missing. Quality is here, though. In their history, those two squads have played each other 2 times. One month ago, Vikin.gg took a 3-0 win over Mudgolems in a best of 5 BTS Pro Series grand finals. Before that, Mudgolems took 2-0 win in the group stage of the same tournament. So I’m feeling here that this can go both ways. Vikin.gg are in amazing form. 5 straight wins in their last 5 matches. Two wins vs a strong Team Liquid, and their last match was an amazing 2-0 victory over Team Secret. They are just showing pure class. As I already mentioned a few times, Mudgolems are one of the hottest underdog teams in Europe. Their performance is constantly improving. Taking a map off mighty Team Secret, beating Team Nigma, and crushing up and coming squads like Yellow Submarine is surely something worth remembering. I would give slight advantage to Vikin.gg here, due to their recent performances, but overall there is a high chance that this match can go to all 3 maps.

What an end of the day for EPIC League Division 1 this will be. These two teams always have some very close matches. But neither of those teams are in excellent form. Alliance dropped their performance a lot lately. Nigma had ups and downs in the last months. They even played with their coach for a few tournaments. However, Kuroky is now back and it’s hard to tell what we can expect from them. Can they return to their old form or not? We will see. W33 is the biggest problem for Nigma, as he is the player that is having the worst performance. I have a feeling when w33 plays decently, that Nigma will win, and if w33 is feeding or having a bad game, they are in so much trouble. Just like their last matches vs NaVi and OG. They’ve lost both series with close 1-2, but w33 struggled a lot in some of those maps. Alliance is much dependent on a NikoBaby as their carry player. His morphling plays have been amazing and almost unstoppable. Nigma has 3 wins out of their last 5 matches, while Alliance has only 1 win from their last 5 matches. Really bad performances from both. This can potentially be a very close series. I would give a small advantage to Nigma since they are 1-1 in this league currently. Alliance is 0-2. 3 maps are highly possible here.

That Yellow Submarine game was too close for me to be comfortable. They lost first map and then they were behind by quite big margin in 3rd map but they managed to claw they way back in the game and win in the end.

Oh yea, 3rd deciding map was definitely too close. Yellow Submarine was losing the whole match, and in the end in 2 fights they've managed to turn it around and win. I though NiP would won honestly  Grin

The remarked "Chinese Super Team" was impressive. The known 4AM (Four Angry Man) which has changed it's name to Elephant. I guess they have some sponsor issues but their performance as a new team is really good.

Unlike other teams that have been built, they have also lost in some games but their team play deserves to be called as the remark for them. Their lost against VG, Paparazzi didn't played but a sub. Then the next games were great to watch.

[DOTA 2] Day 8 of the EPIC League Division 2 is here. We will watch 4 interesting matches, matches that will be crucial for some teams

Winstrike vs Gambit: Winstrike +1.5

These two teams with these lineups have never played each other until now. As this will be their first match, we really don’t have a lot of information regarding their match history. We can’t rely on that in this situation. On the other side, let’s check out their last matches and division standings. Winstrike is in the upper half of the rankings with 2 wins and 1 loss, while Gambit had only 1 match, and that was a free win vs 5men yesterday. Winstrike had a pretty strong showing in yesterdays series vs Ninjas in Pyjamas. Yes, NiP played with 2 stand-ins, but Winstrike managed to exploit all their weaknesses. This new Gambit lineup is still not proven in such matches. Sportsbooks are saying that Gambit are favourites here, but I would give a Winstrike a chance here. For that reason, +1.5 handicap on them is a decent bet here with over 1.50 odds.

Empire vs Nemiga: Empire ML

This is such an even clash. I think these two teams are even in terms of current form and strength. Nemiga is currently down at the bottom of the rankings with 4 straight losses. They have a disastrous map win-loss ratio, 1-8. With just 1 map won in the 4 matches, they are looking to be in a terrible form. On the other side, Team Empire is trying hard. With 1 win and 1 loss from the 2 matches, they are surely slight favourites here to take down Nemiga. I would go with Empire here. They have a 2-1 win vs Cyberium, while Nemiga lost 0-2 to that same team. Their last match was in Empire’s favour, it was 2-0 for them. I do think Empire is capable of 2-0’ing Nemiga again. Over 2.5 is a big risk here, and odds on Empire ML are just amazing.

5men vs Live to Win: Live to Win ML

These two teams played 10 days ago and Live to Win won that match easily 2-0. Live to Win currently has 1 win and 1 loss in the division. They’ve won against Winstrike, but lost to the very strong Yellow Submarine. On the other side, 5men have a 2-1 win vs Spider Pigz (ex Tempo Esports), and yesterday they didn’t show up for their match vs Gambit. I wonder what is going on within the team, and if they will continue to play together. For all those reasons, Live to Win are heavy favourites in this match. They have a decent roster, and they should be able to take down an unstable 5men team, if the match will happen. Odds on Live to Win win are quite decent for all the advantages they have coming into this match.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Yellow Submarine: Yellow Submarine ML

This should be a very nice series for the end of the day. Ninjas in Pyjamas are in quite a knockdown. 0-2 vs Winstrike gave them their first loss in this competition. Currently they are holding an upper half spot in the division with 2 wins and 1 loss. Before that, they won vs both Nemiga and Cyberium. However, yesterday NiP played without 2 standard players. Buugi played instead of Charlie and okcya replaced Misha. I’m not sure what is going on with their roster and players, but we can expect a standin or two in today’s series. That’s a big minus for them. They will have a hard task beating Yellow Submarine. The team is on a 3 match winning streak, and have never lost to NiP yet. In two matches vs NiP, they have 2 wins. And I do believe they will get their 3rd win vs NiP today. After a strong performance vs Live to Win yesterday, NiP is not in the best form and won’t give them too much trouble. Especially if NiP will play with replacement players again. We will see.

League of Legends

DWG (Damwon Gaming) 2020 League of Legends world's champions recently acquired Kkoma and said goodbye to their pair head coach Zefa and Daeny.
It looks odd to me replacing the head coach of a team that just got won a world's championship that is having a 51-8 run. Kkoma as you guys might not know him, he is the former head coach of the famous SKT T1, having their back to back championship and having a total of 3 world's championship.

What you guys think about this move? Are we going to see DWG in the world's again?

Kkoma is the best coach in the world, according to a lot of people. He will surely be a big reinforcement for Damwon.

^  Where do you get your info for team stats, news and other tourney info for CS:GO?  And where do you watch the matches live?

For CS:GO it's mostly HLTV.org (the biggest CS:GO and database / info website in the world) and Liquidpedia regarding rosters, upcoming tournaments etc...

For Dota 2  I'm using, Abios/matches, Liquidpedia and statistics websites dotabuff and datdota.

Together with that, I follow reddit updates, twitter profiles of teams / players and other social media... You can always find some good informations there (roster changes etc...)

I watch live matches on Twitch.tv. Usually every tournament has it's own Twitch channel where matches are broadcasted live.

[DOTA 2] My picks and bets for today (EPIC League Division 2):

Winstrike - Ninjas in Pyjamas: Ninjas in Pyjamas -1.5, 1.61 @ MY BETSLIP
5men - Gambit: 5men, 1.61 @ MY BETSLIP

This looks like an easy win for NiP. However, Winstrike did take a map off Live to Win in their previous match. They showed that they have the element of surprise. Winstrike is currently holding the middle of the rankings table with 1 win and 1 loss. 1-2 vs Live to Win and 2-1 win vs Nigma are their results. On the other side, the Ninjas are on a 2 match winning streak. 2-0 vs Cyberium and 2-0 vs Nigma brought them to the top of the rankings with 2 wins. In their history, Winstrike never managed to take a map off NiP. However, they might do it this time since NiP is kinda unstable. In yesterday’s match they played without their position 3 player SabeRLighT-. So let’s be careful about this one, since we don’t know their final lineup for today. Safest bet would be NiP ML if you can find decent odds on that.

This will be the first match for Gambit in this league. 5men already played one, and they have 1 win, 2-1 vs Spider Pigz. 5men has looked very bad in recent weeks. They looked lost in most of their matches. Their lineup on the paper tells us one story, their gameplay another story. However, their last win vs Pigz showed us a glimpse of hope for this lineup. It will be interesting to see what they can do in this league. Gambit can be dangerous, as their last matches went to all 3 maps. 1-2 vs Tempo (now Spider Pigz) and 1-2 vs strong Mudgolems. But taking everything into account, I do believe 5men are a stronger team overall, and they should be able to take this series. Another good bet here could be Over 2.5 maps.
