[DOTA 2] DOTA Summit Online EU/CIS is just starting and we are here to follow this tournament and it’s matches and teams. Day 1 will bring us some exciting clashes.

Even though HellRaisers are really decent CIS team, they did some roster changes recently. They are far away from their “end of the 2019 - beginning of the 2020” form. Live to Win is recently formed Dota 2 team with some really strong CIS names like iLTW, fn, AfterLife and SoNNeikO. Ex NaVi and VirtusPro players playing together in the same team look terrifying. Even thought this will be their first official match, somehow I do believe they can perform well. When I watched some of those players in their previous teams, they were high caliber players able to face off HellRaisers for sure. This is a very risky bet, but somehow I want them to win.

This should be a very interesting match. 5men are one of my favourite Dota 2 teams in Europe without an organization. They have very strong names and high potential, even if I do think some of them are very washed up players. But with the right time and the right team, you never know when they can shine. Khan is strong tier 2 CIS squad. In their recent matches they’ve even managed to take a map of Vikin.gg, Mudgolems and take a series of HellRaisers. However, in their last performance vs 5men in the BTS Pro Series Season 3, they were crushed by 5men 2-0. I do believe 5men are big favourites here too, and they will make a debut in their group B with a win.

NiP should win easily vs Brame, while Mudgolems should win easily vs Yellow Submarine if they show their A game. All are very risky bets, go lower.

I followed the whole event, but I only placed a bet on the grand finals. GG to both teams, amazing performances. Even tho I wanted G2 to take it 

Liquid took it with 3-1. They are the ESL One Germany 2020 champions! NaVi had their chance in the 4th map, but they were not good enough. Few mistakes, and they've lost the series. GG to Liquid!

Anyone here who predicted right in the League of Legends Worlds grand finals event? What you got? I predicted the first 3 matches for Suning gaming, was really rooting for this team since day one and I did even more when they able to kicked G2 out. And the very reason why I'm rooting for them is because of StyleOfMe (SofM) his jungling play style was insane! Anyways congrats to DWG for getting back the crown to LCK. Props and respect to Suning, great performance with that Pentakill! 

I am also a NaVi fan, great team. They definitely have shot at this one. 2 maps should be possible if they don't choke again. Last time I lost some money with NaVi but I think I will go with them again.

Liquid are slight favourites, but I do think NaVi can be competitive too. For me, good bet is Natus Vincere +1.5 hadicap. Finals are best of 5 which means NaVi needs to take at least 2 maps. You can find good odds on that.

I've had a hard time picking the team to win cause from the start, I thought TES would win in a landslide but Suning defeated them. So when I weight DWG and SN, I leaned towards DWG and yup, I WON my bet

[DOTA 2] ESL One Germany 2020 is coming to an end. Tournament will conclude this Sunday with a best of 5 grand finals. But before the end, we will watch 4 more matches. Friday is a day for upper bracket finals and lower bracket round 3. Let’s analyze the matches and predict the winners.

Liquid - Secret: Secret -1.5 @ MY BETSLIP
Mudgolems - Natus Vincere: Natus Vincere 1.5 @ MY BETSLIP

Even though this is a lower bracket round 3 match, this surely must be the match of the day. How did those two teams end up in the lower bracket? Well surprisingly enough, Team Secret is not playing their most dominant tournament for now, and Liquid’s performance can vary a lot. Team Secret did get their 1st loss in a while vs mudgolems in the upper bracket. After that loss, their stakes are higher and they don’t have any opportunities for new mistakes. After beating Alliance with a strong 2-0 in the lower bracket round 2, now they need to face another strong team. Team Liquid will try to stop Team Secret in taking another championship. The only team that managed to beat Liquid in the group stage was Team Secret (2-0). However, the playoffs didn’t start too well for them. They were crushed by the same team that beat Team Secret, mudgolems. Team Liquid showed decent play vs very weak Nigma in the lower bracket, while yesterday they managed to make a few comeback to 2-0 Vikin.gg. Really solid performance, but I’m not sure if this will be enough to face Team Secret with their prime play. They’re last clash was 2 weeks ago, in the group stage of the same tournament. How did those 2 weeks help Liquid is yet to be seen. This is a high risk bet, but that’s only logical thing to go for if you are asking me. Team Secret should take out Team Liquid. 2-0 is a result that we want.

Mudgolems are the biggest underdog of this tournament. Until now they’ve lost only 1 series, and that was vs Team Liquid (0-2) in the group stage of the tournament. Their mid player BoraNija is really delivering almost every game. He is the biggest surprise on the scene regarding players if you ask me. Skiter is playing amazingly too. His position 1 play is much better compared to his time in CR4ZY. In the opening playoff match, they’ve beat Team Liquid in a close 3 map series. However, after that they shocked us all with their amazing performance vs Team Secret. Secret didn’t have the chance. It’s obvious, they are performing very good vs stronger teams, as I do think they are still a big question mark for most of the European Dota 2 teams. It will take some time for teams to study Mudgolems in a better and more detailed way. I’m a big fan of Natus Vincere, but Mudgolems already crushed them in the group stage. Match ended up with a 2-0 win for Mudgolems. Even though NaVi had really poor performance in the group stages, they showed what they made off in the playoffs. 2-1 win vs favoured OG, 2-0 win vs Vikin.gg are respectable results that can show us potentially how this current match will go. Mudgolems are favourites, that’s sure. But I wouldn’t count down NaVi. This should be a really open match, every team has it’s opportunities and for that reason I’m giving NaVi at least 1 map.

[DOTA 2] Upper bracket round 2 is finished and it’s time for ESL One Germany to move to the lower bracket matches. Sadly, today 2 more teams will be eliminated from the tournament. Liquid, Vikin.gg, Secret and Alliance are fighting for survival. Here is my analysis and picks for today’s matches.

ViKin.gg - Liquid: ViKin.gg 1.5, 1.48 @ MY BETSLIP
Secret - Alliance: Secret -1.5, 1.39 @ MY BETSLIP

Team Liquid showed amazing play in the group stages. With 3 wins and 1 loss they were almost unstoppable. But their win vs Mudgolems in the group stage didn’t mean anything in the end, as they lost to the same team in the round 1 of the playoffs. Liquid lost to mudgolems 1-2, but they managed to beat Team Nigma in the round 1 of the lower bracket. However, that was a very close win vs not so dominant opponent. Now Liquid has to face a solid Vikin.gg. Vikin.gg is such a young squad full of potential. But they have one big problem, and that is inconsistency. After 3 wins and 2 losses in the group stage, in the playoffs they dropped to the lower bracket in round 2. After their dominant 2-0 win vs strong Alliance, they’ve managed to get crushed by Natus Vincere yesterday in a best of 3 series. Looked like a completely different team then in the previous day vs Alliance. However, I do believe Vikin.gg still has what it takes to shock and outplay opponents. In their history, they’ve played vs Liquid 2 times and they’ve never lost a series to them. Even though Liquid are favourites here, I do believe Vikin.gg can at least take a map. Odds on handicap are better then on Liquid ML.

Team Secret are most definitely the strongest team in this tournament and of course the biggest favourite to take the championship. However, their playoff stage performance is far away from their group stage performance. After 3-0 in the group stage, and 6-0 in maps, they already dropped a map in one series and they’ve lost another series completely. What a shocker for their fans and the whole community. After being 0-1 down vs Team Nigma in the round 1 of the upper bracket, they’ve managed to turn around the match and they’ve won the series 2-1 in the end. Much harder than expected. Yesterday, Secret was shocked by underdogs Mudgolems. Secret lost the series with 0-2 and after straight 20 wins in a row, they were defeated. Mudgolems just outrafted and outplayed Team Secret. Was it a bad day or the end of an unbeatable streak for Secret? We will see, but I do think it’s the first one. On the other hand, Alliance were crushed by Vikin.gg in the upper bracket round 1, but they’ve managed to beat OG with 2-0 in their first match in the lower bracket. Again a team with such an unstable performance. Both recent clashes between those two teams ended up with Team Secret’s win. 3-0 and 2-0 were their results vs Alliance. This is another risky handicap bet, but I do think Team Secret has all it takes to bounce back from uncomfortable defeat vs Mudgolems. Risky handicap, if you are not sure, try to find decent Team Secret ML odds.

I'm really surprised when I saw a post that the Secret been defeated in the upper bracket, this is the time to appreciate the team of Mudgolems because they are the ones to beat the secret in the upper bracket in the past and recent series in DOTA 2. I'm sure that a lot of people are aware that the secret is the number 1 team in DOTA 2 because of their 3-0 sweep in the past championship in every DOTA 2 series. I think there will be a rematch between secret and mudgolems in the finals. I really expected to see the crazy drafting of the secret. It is a 20 series win streak after all so a lot of people for sure been surprised on what happen to the secret. Maybe the momentum finally ended but still they the Team secret so for sure they will do crazy thing and we will able to see high quality DOTA 2.

[DOTA 2] After almost 3 days off, ESL One Germany 2020 continues. The upper bracket round 2 is scheduled for Wednesday. We will watch 2 matches with top European teams. The best 4 teams for now in this competition will fight for the upper bracket finals. Let’s analyze the matches and predict the winners.

Secret - Mudgolems: Secret -1.5, 1.33 @ MY BETSLIP

Team Secret and Mudgolems will open round 2 of the upper bracket. Team Secret is definitely the best European Dota 2 team by a mile, at least at the moment. It’s interesting to mention that Team Secret are the only squad in this competition that didn’t drop a single map in the group stage. Three 2-0 results for the easy spot in the playoffs. There, they faced Team Nigma in round 1. They won that match 2-1, but Nigma managed to take a map off Secret, and that surprised us all. Nigma is surely one of the strongest EU teams, but they are not showing it currently. And they are the first team to drop out of the playoffs. If Nigma took a map off Secret, I wonder if Mudgolems can too. Let me remind you that Mudgolems crushed Team Nigma with a clean 2-0 in the group stage. They are surely one of the hottest young stacks in Europe, the real underdogs of the tournament. And I can’t say anything against them. They are delivering it, as their performance is constantly shocking and surprising their opponents. In the playoffs round 1, they managed to take down Team Liquid with 2-1. Really impressive performance and win for them. However, I don’t think that Mudgolems are ready for Team Secret. Secret is just a few levels above every other team. Too experienced, with the best captain in the world, they are surely a mountain to climb for Mudgolems. Even if it’s a very risky bet, I do think Team Secret can take this match 2-0 easily. It can happen that Mudgolems can shine and take a map off, but I think there is a lesser chance for that compared to Secret -1.5 handicap.

Natus Vincere - ViKin.gg: Natus Vincere, 1.60 @ MY BETSLIP

This can potentially be a much more interesting match then the first one. CIS vs EU is always an interesting battle. Even though NaVi is favoured here, I do think this match can potentially be really close. In the end I would still favour NaVi. Let me explain why. Both NaVi and Vikin.gg ended up their group stage run with 3 wins and 2 losses. They’ve barely qualified for the playoffs in their 5th, deciding group stage match. NaVi had a pretty easy way to qualify for the playoffs. Basically, they’ve beat 3 weak CIS squads. While Vikin.gg managed to take down NiP with 2-1 in their decider match. That was their strongest win in the group. Basically, neither of the teams impressed me with their play. However, in the playoffs both teams stepped up their play. NaVi managed to take down OG 2-1, while Vikin.gg surprisingly managed to take down Alliance with a clean 2-0. And now, here we are. I would say those teams have a lot of similarities, but let’s focus on staff that differ them from each other. NaVi is more focused on individual strength with carries like V-Tune, Iceberg and General. Their individual strength and quality is not questionable. On the other side, I would say that Vikin.gg’s players have less individual quality, but they have better team play and awareness. For that reason, they are doing amazingly good. However, Dota 2 is currently in a stage where individual quality often makes big differences. Of course paired with good draft and hero picks. If top NaVi’s players get good hero picks and drafts, for example V-Tune and his Morph, I do think that Vikin.gg will have a lot of problems with that and they will eventually fall. For that reason, I fancy going to NaVi ML here. If you are not into ML play, try going Over 2.5 maps. Three maps are highly anticipated here.
