💰#Dota2 #TI12 Playoffs Day 3 (October 22nd) picks, predictions, analysis:

Keyd Stars 🆚 BetBoom Team: BetBoom Team -1.5, 1.40 @ Leetbit
Low odds matches today, but it's something. Brazilian team Keyd Stars are facing BetBoom Team, the best CIS team currently out there. It's to be or not to be for the CIS squad, as surely if they drop out today, this will be a disaster for them. Keyd is one of the teams still without a win in this competition while BetBoom has 3 wins and 2 losses, but their last loss vs CIS brothers 9Pandas did shocked them. Anyway, with The International winning players like TORONTOTOKYO, BetBoom should take this series pretty easily. Odds are in their favor, and the only logical way here is to bet on -1.5 handicap, if you find decent kinda odds on this, 1.40 or higher.

Tundra 🆚 Entity: Tundra ML, 1.35 @ Leetbit
Entity was really a decent team at the beginning of the season. And they have won The International 2023 Western qualifiers vs teams like Secret, Nigma and others. In this tournament, they are doing terrible. With only 1 win vs Evil Geniuses, they are surely not competitive enough. Everything unless Tundra's win here would be a shocker. On the other side, Tundra is on just one loss, shocking loss vs nouns in Phase Two of the competition. They won their group D with 7-1 in maps won-loss, which is amazing, the same as Liquid and LGD Gaming. Tundra ML is a safe bet here, odds are shit, but if you want to bet big this is a way to go. If you want to risk, Tundra -1.5 handicap is another option with odds over 2.00. It means Tundra needs to win with a clean 2-0. I'll pick a safer option this time, risks are too high for both teams, as the loser is out of the competition.

Additional pick for today:

Gaimin Gladiators 🆚 9Pandas: Gaimin Gladiators ML, 1.35 @ Leetbit
Gaimin Gladiators are facing a really dangerous team. This is to be or not to be for Gaimin Gladiators, one of the favorites of the tournament. Their series last month in BetBoom Dacha went to Gaimin's favour, 2-0. Even tho 9Pandas did beat BetBoom Team 2-1 in Phase Two, they lost  to LGD with a clean 2-0 in the upper bracket quarterfinals. The loser is eliminated from the tournament here in this lower bracket round 2, and I can't imagine GG is going to be that team. This can be a 3-map series for sure, so Over 2.5 is a good bet too, but this time I'm choosing to go safe.

💰#Dota2 #TI12 Playoffs Day 2 (October 21st) picks, predictions, analysis:

Shopify Rebellion🆚TSM: Shopify Rebellion ML, 1.52 @ Leetbit
Maybe the most hyped match today. Rebellion are favorites here. One interesting fact is that Rebellion still doesn't know for a win here in this competition. They have 2 draws and 3 losses. On the other side, TSM's only victory was 2-0 vs Talon Esports. Truth be told, this is one of those matches that is, well, totally unnecessary. Really. It seems that Shopify Rebellion should win because they are the more status team with the better portfolio, but when you look at them, and especially at the legendary Arteezy at The International 2023, you realize that they have nothing to catch here in global terms. I feel the same way about TSM, except that they looked a bit more awake during the tournament. In general, I think TSM can take one map, but the series should go to Rebellion.

Evil Geniuses🆚Gaimin Gladiators: Gaimin Gladiators -1.5, 1.78 @ Leetbit
Evil Geniuses are taking on Gaimin Gladiators, one of the favorites to take this championship. Both teams have 3 losses, and this is to be or not to be for either of the teams. GG are massive favorites, a more dominant team and a team with massive quality. TI champions. They can go far, and I don't think they should have too much of trouble here in this series. I expect 2-0 for GG, if something unexpected happens, EG can take a map, otherwise it's a long shot. Let's be blunt: Gaimin Gladiators should have played in the top flight, but they lost the advantage twice in the match against Talon. GG looks worse at The International 2023 than they did during the season, but they are still a very strong team.

Great picks with Azure Ray to win on handicap maps because personally I had faith in Nouns to take 1 map and I've lost my bets.

I also had faith in 9pandas to take 1 map but LGD is playing old school chinese dota and I have a feeling they will stop only in the finals.

Also , we had no surprises yesterday so I think today we might get a few of them ...maybe EG eliminates GG ? That would be wild.  Cool

Day 1 of Dota 2 The International PLAYOFFS went pretty much as I've expected.

Spirit 2-1 VirtusPro
Team Liquid 2-0 Talon
LGD 2-0 9Pandas
Azure Ray 2-0 nouns

Team Spirit managed to beat youngsters VirtusPro in a narrow 3 map series. Liquid showed their dominance vs Talon Esports, and they proved themselves as one of the biggest favorites of this tournament. I've predicted Team Liquid to win, but however, I gave a chance to Talon, so I've predicted this would go to all 3 maps.
LGD was dominant vs 9Pandas. I thought maybe 9Pandas can take a map off LGD as they've shown incredible performance vs BetBoom, the number #1 CIS team in the previous round. However, LGD was too strong for them, and won the overall series.
A lot of people thought nouns would be troublesome opponents to Azure Ray, but Chinese were too strong. 2 map series with 30 min map 1 proved that Azure Ray can go far. 2-0 for them, as I've predicted.

In the upper bracket semifinals we have:

Team Spirit vs Team Liquid (CIS vs EU)
LGD vs Azure Ray (China vs China)

Those matches are going to be crazy, but they are scheduled in 6 days. Liquid vs Spirit a classic western dota, while LGD vs Azure will show us who is the best China team right now.

Jabz should probably make Blade Mail on that game. At least with that, he can stand being targeted and can deal more damage. But that Apparition ultimately really made him reduce in regeneration and that helped Team Liquid. Aside from Blade Mail, he should have made pipe as well. You know that the line up of Team Liquid were also dealing magic damage but he's in a hurry to build that aghanims when in fact that he has made impact first in defense through pipe of insight. Well, regardless of the what ifs, they've lost and they now to do better in a tougher road in the lower bracket. The best teams are there as well and that's going to be one of their struggles and could also be their exit. While those that are still in the upper bracket, they've got another week to take a rest and that's very favorable for the most teams that will proceed to the upper bracket. Having that mental drain is gonna give that impactful decision making on them.
If we do tend to look at on the bracket then its neither they would be facing up KeydStars or BB which most likely BB would really be their next opponent which its impossible for them to beat up
or im not saying that it is already that conclusive but BB team is really just that too strong. If ever that Keyd would be able to break it out then they do have that huge chance
that they might be able to give a fight but on next LBRound3  would be more tougher.

---

Team Spirit is indeed having great games so far and remained unscathed. They remained the favorite but there are also teams that are looking strong. LGD and Liquid only lost 1 map and it was during the group stage so things are just getting interesting as we are closing in. Next for Team Spirit is Liquid and it'll be very exciting to watch. I might bet on Team Spirit but I expect a difficult tough game for both teams as the winner gets a guaranteed 3rd place.

In the lower bracket, I am still not counting out the other teams, especially Gaimin Gladiators and Betboom.
WEU powerhouse is on lower bracket which i could say that there's indeed an interesting match up on lower brackets which it wasnt really  that expected that they would really be dropping low.
Tomorrow would really be that the lower bracket matches which the loser would really be going directly to airport. Shopify Rebellions vs TSM, EGvsGG,KeydvsBB, TundraVsEntity?
This would really be an interesting matches to look on. My choices or bet is on SR,GG,BB,Tundra.

TS vs TL on Upper Bracket and LGD Gaming vs AzureRay (both chinese teams) surely it would be a fire.

Azure Ray and LGD gaming won their respective matches and next week they're going to face each other. I like this face up of them because right now, those who have won on the upper bracket secures a top 6th placing which means that they've secured almost $100k in prize.

And now, on this case of Azure Ray and LGD gaming. It's obvious that both are Chinese teams and one will be going to the finals of upper bracket which means a top 3 secured spot.

Conclusion: Either of two will secure top 3 placing on this TI.

When it comes to TS match up then its a sure win most of the time. They are really that most likely to win this TI.

Now in game: LGD vs 9Pandas... LGD for the win, never ever on history that they do able to beat up LGD as former Virtuspro members.

I lost my bet on Team Liquid and Talon Esports. I thought that 2nd game would be their extension for a 3-game series but it's not. They made a mistake on the rosh pit when Talon Esports was already there trying to take the aegis and Team Liquid's ancient apparition has no more ultimate as it was used already. But then, when Terrorblade and Bristleback were focused on Micke's Luna, it wasn't just enough. It has already a satanic and butterfly and Talon lacks disabled items when they were trying to kill Luna. And when it has activated it's satanic, then that's how everything fell. The aegis was taken by Bristleback because they were in a hurry as Team Liquid was coming there. I thought that they really about to win this one but not goodbye for Talon Esports. There's still a chance for them at the lower bracket.
They had controlled that Bristleback and that is because of that Storm + Appa + Dawn combo which it did result on having that the farm of BB slowed down. Also he is lacking some HP+STR items which he would
make his hero that tough but we are seeing AGHS instead. He is that easily burst up and didnt make out some good play from mid-end game. TB decisions are also that made them lose on certain clashes
just like for example on having that BKB activation despite on having Aegis. Seems like that they are really that in panic or really just that Liquid is really that good on making combo and skill executions.
Basing up on the line up which you could really be able to tell that they have better line up but they are being outfarm when mid to end game.

💰#Dota2 #TI12 Playoffs Day 1 (October 20th) picks, predictions, analysis:

Liquid 🆚 Talon: Over 2.5 @ 2.10 (Leetbit.io)
Pretty strong series, as both teams performed good in their last few matches. Liquid won their group B with 3 wins and 1 draw, while Talon finished 3rd in their group D with 2 wins and 2 draws. In the phase two, Liquid won vs Evil Geniuses in a dominant 2-0 series, while Talon surprisingly won against Gaimin Gladiators in a narrow 2-1 series. Both teams are on a good winning streak, and seems like they played better and better towards playoffs. Their total head to head leans towards Liquid, who has 3 wins, while Talon has 1 win. 5th match ended up in a draw. On paper, Liquid is much stronger team, ready to go all the way. Stronger roster, stronger individuals, Talon can only surprise them with a crazy drafts and rotations. This can be a 3 map series, but I think overall, Liquid shall win. We are going for a high odds here with Over 2.5. If you want safe bet, go with Liquid ML.

LGD 🆚 9Pandas: LGD ML @ 1.38 (Leetbit.io)
LGD is surely the strongest Chinese team here. Their form is growing, and they have amazing positive series behind them. 4 wins and 1 draw, only 1 map lost from 10 maps they've played. On other other side 9Pandas surprised BetBoom, number 1 CIS team right now. In their Phase two series, they played amazingly against them and took the series 2-1. If we take into consideration whole tournament so far, LGD is far more dominant and better team. Playoffs are their field and I doubt they will lose the win here. Now odds on LGD ML win are pretty low, going from 1.35 to 1.40, but it would be a safer way to go. 9Pandas can surprise with a map too, they played solid Dota vs BetBoom, a very strong team. With that play, if they can repeat it, they can take a map off LGD for sure. But the risk is too high, so ill rather stay safe here and go higher with LGD ML.

nouns 🆚 Azure Ray: Azure Ray -1.5 @ 1.95 (Leetbit.io)
Azure Ray, 2nd Chinese team in the playoffs can be really dangerous, especially for a team like nouns, unexperienced vs such veterans from Azure. All odds are on Chinese side here, but one thing scares me. nouns played amazing Phase Two match against Tundra Esports, taking them down in a clean 2-0 fashion, which was the biggest shock so far in the tournament. On the other side, among all their expected wins, Azure Ray managed to take a maps off Liquid and Rebellion, but they've got crushed by BetBoom. A series that could easily go other way. This is all or nothing for them. Their last series in July in Bali Major went to Azure Ray's side (2-0), and I think there is a high chance of the same result today. This is a high risk bet, but the reward is high. If you don't want to risk with -1.5 handicaps, go with winner, and that surely must be Azure Ray.

Results from the Phase Two best of 3 matches were kinda crazy. Some favourites fell. For example Talon Esports shocked Gaimin Gladiators, who are one of top favourites for the TI12. CIS clash ended up with underdogs 9Pandas taking up BetBoom Team. Maybe the biggest surprise was that Tundra lost to American organization nouns with clean 0-2. That was the most shocking result definitely.

Playoffs of Dota 2 The International are ready. Starts on October 20th with upper bracket quarter finals. Two of the top favourites for The International, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra are placed in lower bracket. Everything is on the line for them, one loss and they are gone.

Stake does not offer total maps.
You can bet whether 2 maps or 3 maps occurs in the series regardless of who wins, its one of my favorites to take.  However there often games limited to just bo1 and pro players dislike this as it can lead to random, as a bettor I dont like that also.
Together with the mr12 format being so small in comparison to the old games, it can be over before you are aware of what is going on.  Valve wants this faster clash to occur over the sometimes drawn out normal matches.   I much prefer bo3 for a full proper match to bet on.

Big LAN starts shortly, in Australia so its not long now with their time difference. The biggest news is Navi plays with Blade not s1mple as there are visa issues ongoing which make it too complicated to travel.   So in that case I expect the more protracted outcomes for Navi then easy kills s1mple gets at times.

Yeah, I think Stake lacks deep offers, for example total maps or similar bets, which is really popular in esports. But playoffs for TI12 are starting soon, everything will be best of 3 format, with best of 5 grand finals, so this will be very interesting and much better to bet on compared to best of 2.

IEM Sydney just started yesterday. NaVi without s1mple, I don't think they can compete with FaZe or Mouz right now. Vitality is already out, they have lost both matches. Very crazy start to the tournament.

Tundra 🆚 nouns: Tundra -1.5 @ 1.40 (Leetbit.io)
Tundra are definitely a favourites here. nouns is a Regional North American team that came from qualifiers. They are led by Gunnar, Moo and Lelis. Pretty well known names on American Dota 2 scene. However, as we know, none of American teams is on the level of European teams, especially Tundra. Tundra are one of the top 5 favourites for The International trophy. Tundra did pretty good so far, 3 wins and 1 draw. While nouns still don't know about a win in this tournament.
Nouns won the first game and that was an amazing Earthshaker and Witch Doctor combo. That last clash that they've made was just so satisfying to see.

They are on the 2nd map now and we shall see if Tundra will redeem themselves and will force match into a game 3.

I expect win for Tundra here, definitely. 2-0 most likely, so handicap -1.5 is a way to go.
It could be now for nouns and not for Tundra but maybe a 2-1 for Tundra is possible.
