[DOTA 2] Hello everyone, we are back! Happy New Year to everyone! Here are some of my picks for Maincast Winter Brawl matches today:

HellRaisers - OG Seed: OG Seed, 1.59 @ BetOnBit
jfshfh178 - Team Singularity: Team Singularity, 1.52 @ BetOnBit

Both matches are BO3, betting risk is normal. I think those matches should be straightforward with 2 favourites. However, 2nd match is still under question mark for me, but i have decided to go with Singularity. jfshfh178 +1.5 is pretty good bet too, depends on the odds.

Wasnt expecting for VG to beat out the crap of EG's a** on BO3. Each game time averages 40m+
(..)
I don't know what happened on the EG, maybe they just outdrafted? Like they can able to dominate at early game but like some few losses on clash, the game will flip.
EG has strong line up especially their mid laner Abed.
Wellplayed for both teams especially for the VG which come from lower bracket all the way to champion.
Talking about their draft which is definitely fine for me, the thing here is on how they do execute combos on clashing and yes they do have that strong line up but it isnt enough

to beat out VG teamwork and responses when someone is ganked or even on clash times.I lost my bet this time yet i picked EG to champ but well things do happen unexpectedly.

Lets move on and stop this discussion. Grin

Hey mate how are you?

Only one of the matches I manage to catch. Team Secret - Vici Gaming: Vici Gaming, but my odds lower at 2.22
I like this because I can relate. Personally, I don't really root for Puppey and his Team Secret. And Vici Gaming is rocking in the last major. So I believe VG wins.

Summary following this thread:
11 wins
1 defeat
Net gain is 8.80 odds or 880% should I bet on fixed amount from the start.

Good job man. Congratz! I think Vici vs EG grand finals, and EG will be champions after all!

Thanks. I rooted for Vici to become champion actually. It was a very impressive recovery since they started in the lower bracket. Something that is yet to be achieved on TI. EG looked fresh and great but was mercilessly beaten by the hungrier VG squad at 3-0.

Another DOTA2 major this coming January in Leipzig, Germany.

[DOTA 2] My picks and predictions for tomorrow lower bracket finals of ONE World Pro Invitational Singapore:

Gambit Esports - Vici Gaming: Vici Gaming, 1.31 @ BetOnBit

Match is BO3. Winner of that match is playing vs EG in the grand finals. I think Vici is much stronger team here and in better form. They have beat TNC, Secret and Alliance in a row, while Gambit lost 0-2 vs EG in the upper bracket finals.

[CS:GO] My picks and predictions for Epicenter semifinals:

Vitality - Heroic: Heroic 1.5, 1.82 @ BetOnBit
mousesports - Evil Geniuses: mousesports, 1.48 @ BetOnBit

Matches are BO3, betting risk is high to normal. In the first match, Vitality is favourite there, but i think Heroic can pull out one map from them. They have better win ratio on 6 out of 7 maps in comparison to Vitality, but Vitality has ZywOo of course. mouz is looking dominant last 3 tournaments, i think EG can't beat them. They already lost to mouz in EPL and in this tournament too once.

[DOTA 2] My picks and thoughts for ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore lower bracket round 2:

Alliance - Virtus Pro: Virtus Pro, 1.97 @ BetOnBit
Team Secret - Vici Gaming: Vici Gaming, 2.31 @ BetOnBit

Both matches are BO3 and betting risk is very high here.

Alliance and VirtusPro already played one best of 2 series in this tournament. It was their group stage match, and Alliance took a 2-0 win. However, playoffs of Dota 2 tournaments are completely different thing. First playoffs match will be BO3 series, and focus and psychology of teams are on a completely different level. VirtusPro took dominant 2-0 win vs NaVi in lower bracket round 1, while Alliance lost 0-2 in the round 1 of upper bracket to another CIS team, Gambit. I would say this is 50-50 match, and VirtusPro is usually playing a little bit better in the playoffs. Let’s keep in mind, loser is going home, so stakes are high. Odds on VirtusPro win are amazing, and i think there is a decent chance VirtusPro can take this. But it will be a close series i guess and i see a big potential and possible upset by VirtusPro here.

Another very interesting match is coming up. Europe vs China, what a classic. Vici is 2nd place contender from MDL Chengdu Major, while we didn’t see real Team Secret play from The International 9. Let’s keep in mind, Team Secret is playing with a standin, their ex player, MidOne, who is covering for YapzOr on support position. Secret is coming from an upper bracket where they got demolished by EvilGeniuses with 0-2 result. On the other side, Vici Gaming beat TNC with 2-1 result to progress to round 2 of losers bracket. I think we will see another close series between those two teams, and if you ask me odds are not showing the real situation here. Vici has a potential to take down Secret and advance. Odds on Vici Gaming are amazing.

[CS:GO] My picks and predictions for Saturday's matches (Epicenter + Champions Cup):

Heroic - forZe: Over 2.5, 2.07 @ BetOnBit
Natus Vincere - Evil Geniuses: Natus Vincere, 1.57 @ BetOnBit
G2 - ENCE: G2, 1.60 @ BetOnBit
FURIA - Team Spirit: FURIA, 1.52 @ BetOnBit

All matches are BO3. Betting risk is high here. forZe surprised us all, they are slight favourites here, but i think this is like 50-50 match and expect all 3 maps here. NaVi are surely in better form then EG right now. G2 is pretty favoured in their match, but odds are good, while Furia vs Spirit should be another close match and call.

Gambit is showcasing their talent, they are the underdogs and now they have secured 3rd place and EG too.

What's your pick with Gambit vs. EG? and wouldn't you bet with the lower bracket?

I do see that teams on lower brackets are powerhouses
VP vs NaVi
TNC vs Vici

Going for NaVi this time and i do already lost my interest in VP when ramzess leave the team.
TNC vs vici? Vici for sure, they havent beat up vici since.
Yeah, ViCi is like the kryptonite of TNC. Both teams are struggling with this patch and I think this is going to be a good practice for both teams since this isn't a DPC tournament.

NaVi w/ 9pasha versus his former team VP. Kind of hard to think about these CIS teams.

EG vs Gambit, 2 strong teams, even tho EG are big favourites here, Gambit played amazingly in the group stage, and they have managed to take off a game vs EG. Match ended 1-1. Odds on Gambit handicap are amazing, worth a try. They surely can take a map off EG again.
Hmmm, I guess it's worth to try then if EG wins the curse of being top 3 will be broken.  Tongue

[DOTA 2] Second playoff day of ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore continues today with two amazing matches in the lower bracket round 1 + upper bracket finals:

Virtus Pro - Natus Vincere: Virtus Pro, 1.88 @ BetOnBit
Vici Gaming - TNC Predator: Vici Gaming, 1.37 @ BetOnBit
Evil Geniuses - Gambit Esports: Gambit Esports 1.5, 1.80 @ BetOnBit

All matches are BO3, and betting risk is normal to high. Virtus.Pro vs NaVi will be the first match in the lower bracket round 1. Luckily, this match is best of 3, which highly increases betting potential and quality of the games. Both teams are from CIS region and both teams have changed their lineups and players inbetween seasons. Their last match was 20 days ago in DreamLeague Season 13, where NaVi took the clear win with a 2-0 score. Both teams ended their group stage with the same score - 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw which is very interesting. This is 50-50 match I would say, so be careful while betting. If I must pick, Virtus.Pro is good bet for me, odds are amazing.

Last time those two teams played, was in the grand finals of MDL Chengdu Major where TNC beat ViCi with 3-1 result and became freshly minted Dota2 Major champions. That was almost 1 month ago and TNC is now performing very poorly this tournament. With 3 losses, they were positioned at 4th place in group A. On the other side, ViCi didn’t do any better then TNC. They were placed at 3rd place in group B with just one loss vs Evil Geniuses. I think that the form of TNC Predator is moving down slowly and I’m not sure if that’s because of the new patch or because of some internal team problems. I see ViCi Gaming as a favourite to take this best of 3 match and move forward to the next round of the losers bracket. Sadly in that case, TNC Predator is going home as the last placed team in the competition.

[CS:GO] Today is day off at Epicenter, so we go with bets on ChampionsCup:

TyLoo - ENCE: ENCE, 1.39 @ BetOnBit
Team Spirit - BIG: BIG, 1.50 @ BetOnBit

Both matches are BO3. Both Tyloo and Ence started with 1 loss, let's see how this will go. ENCE is in terrible form, but they should be able to beat TyLoo. It's the same situation with BIG. This is like 40-60 match, Over 2.5 is good bet too, but i'll go with BIG.

More ChampionsCup bets later!

[DOTA 2] Finally playoffs. My picks and predictions for first 2 matches of World Pro Invitational SG playoffs:

Alliance - Gambit Esports: Alliance, 1.49 @ BetOnBit
Evil Geniuses - Team Secret: Evil Geniuses, 1.64 @ BetOnBit

Playoff matches are BO3. Betting risk is pretty high here. Patch is still new and fresh, and there are no clear favourites here i would say. Alliance and EG had show us the best play and games in the group stage, they looked dominant, especially EG. Note: Secret is playing with standin support player.
Gambit is showcasing their talent, they are the underdogs and now they have secured 3rd place and EG too.
