What do you guys think?? How do you pick your exchanges?

I personally picked exchanges based on several reasons but the major one is a security of our funds. I always look for the exchanges which can give the best security for my funds and then i look for the transaction and other network fees which also matters a lot if you are day trader or investor, and then i look for the things like their chart analysis tools, deposit and withdrawal methods, their back office and  support team and many more else.

We try to stick with the anonymous bitcoin and altcoin exchanges, as the KYC/AML procedures in certain countries can be quite terrible.

Then there are the countries with different regulations, taxes or plans to ban crypto currencies. The more anonymity purchasers and traders of altcoins have, the better.

Anonymity is part of crypto industry and we all want to be pseudonymous so we can have this full privacy that's why I'm picking hence using exchange sites that doesn't need to undergo kyc for withdrawing my funds. Even though decentralized exchange don't have full security that we want but still we remain here anonymous.

I'm into also in having a fast support that we can reach whenever we got mess and I don't mind the fees as long as I'm getting the services that I paid for.

The low transaction fees of an exchange, listing of coins, security and liquidity levels are very critical to me not just big names of exchanges!

The article posted in the OP is very informative already.
You can get so many pointers from that single article alone.
For me, I'll just stick to big ones where I keep my bitcoin.
For tokens or other altcoins, I'll just trade them to exchanges where they are currently tradeable.
But afterwards, getting bitcoin/eth out of it, I usually convert it to doge for transfer purposes.
You know, very minimal charge as compared to bitcoin.
And then, send it to my trusted exchange where I keep my other coins.
And for me, up until now, polo and bittrex are my trusted ones.

I regularly use two exchanges Kucoin and Binance , for Crypto Fiat direct buying another exchanges. And i dont like exchanges like Hitbtc , Gate.io for  High Withdrawl fees and not so user friendly interface. But never keep assts on exchanges if not so important , withdraw in respective Wallet.

Even if you pick the best and most trustworthy exchanges to use, history as shown time and time against that you should basically never keep any significant value on them. Even some of the most respected exchanges can and have blown up in the past.

Top Crypto Casino
For me it has always been good volume, number of coins listed and good support. This has been my criteria always.
I prefer Binance, Kucoin and Huobi as they all have good volume, lot more coins lusted and an awesome support team
The charges are on the higher side, but that is okay for me. I have heard many bad reviews about some of them, but as long as it is  not hampering me. I am okay with them.

I choose the stock exchange according to its functionality. It is very important for me that the exchange is very convenient and easy to use, therefore I choose crypto-exchange exchanges precisely by these criteria.

I personally stick with the biggest ones and also the most reliable. So typically Bittrex, Binance, and kucoin.

Same here i dont eanna explore since this concerns my money and effort gathering all my funds and finding other exchange will only leads me being prone to victimizing by scammers and hackers so i stick to what youve said

I use Google search to evaluate the crypto exchange I preferred, such as reviews, users/customers comments, and their experiences using the exchange. I also looking and/or searching if the crypto exchange is implementing KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) procedures, which are designed to reduce the risk of illegal or fraudulent activity by certifying customers' identity.

The article is very informative and nicely laid out so props for that. I noticed that the BitPanda exchange is missing from the list though. It was the first exchange I have used and I have had only positive experience with it. It's pretty popular in the EU and has a solid reputation. They also had PayPal exchange option back in the days before PayPal cut all ties with cryptos.

I have a mix of centralized and decentralized exchanges in my exchange list, because I think some use cases necessitates some privacy and that is what some of these centralized exchanges lack. I had a run in with Coinbase over some gambling that I had done, so now I use other exchanges for my gambling use.

Their support also sucks, so I moved to some other exchanges with better support.  Wink

After the recent announcement by Coinbase of adding more new coins on their platform I won't be leaving them for a long time. I used to like Gemini and Bitmex before but Coinbase's interface and updated information made me so interested that I had to switch.

Binance is my preferred exchange as I don't usually exchange cryptos for fiat rather I opt for fiat to fiat exchanges which are mostly ALTs to BTC conversion. Moreover, Binance's own coin BNB is my favorite which is why I consider myself a loyal customer of Binance.

Bitstamp is pretty cool among the exchanges in the list. But i think they should add more crypto coins into their list. And their UI should be improved.
