ETF will probably not approved yet, so BTC and the others crypto will go down !!

I heard it today at night from the man, who has that supposedly from a trusted source... Of course it is not guaranteed information, but why risk. When I sell the crypto and the news will confirmed, it will save me thousands, and if not, nothing happens, I just buy it back before the price rises. When I think about it, the more people will sell, the more the price drops, so even if the message will not confirmed, it could help too, because at the same price everyone would get more ...
Hope it will help to people...

PS:
I wanted to put it on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and so on ... but I don't have my laptop with login info, so if someone could help and send that ...
It could help many people ...
                                                  Thanks and Bye

For sure majority of us are already prepared with certain things to happen with that ETF approval and if its denied then expect that the price would really drop since maybe there are lot of people will get dismayed for the result. But don't spread to much fear since it will not work here since a lot of people experience those past ETF rejection and this is not really a big deal to anyone especially for experience people. But if it happens that it gets denied again then be it there will be more ETF submissions will happen in future and for sure one of that will get approve then we see bitcoin hit another level of adoption since there's something like this exist already. For now there's nothing wrong to follow with latest update about this news and I think this is the best thing to do especially if we have balance to use for DCA.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

But as I already said, ETFs will be approved soon. OP is just spreading FUD with his throwaway newbie account for whatever reason.
One thing is only sure to happen and that is OP will never come back after posting this and with that You
may be right that he is just spreading FUD here and nothing to support His claim about the
No Approval thing of Spot ETF.

Regardless if the SEC will reject it, that wouldn't alone drag bitcoin price down and selling at this early because of such reason is definitely not a good idea. You might not be able to buy back at a more affordable price than last year.
That is totally what will happen now , like yours I also thought that the news will drag the price dumping but
just to know it was only correction as there are many who sold their holdings to cut their profits and may see another climb again back
at 45k .

There has been rumors or rather an assertion that the SEC will reject bitcoin spot ETF in the last 24 hrs, but I believe It wasn't the main reason why bitcoin have dropped almost $4,000 in just 12 hrs after the news have surfaced in the internet. It was just a coincidence where a lot of people have sold at $45,000. Look at how it bounce a couple of grand again today. So, there's no way bitcoin could go down the OP was trying to portray to get to a good entry point or in other words, bitcoin will not go $30,000 level or below especially now that we are closely approaching the bitcoin halving.

I don't think anyone will help you rebroadcast this as it is not a fact yet, and neither is any evidence to back this up. Well, all I know is that it is either the SEC approves it or rejects it, one must happen, but you are right that Bitcoin will fall if they reject it, and so are altcoins. Despite the outcome, I do not think that it can be so devastating for cryptocurrency, that time is not now, there is FOMO everywhere, and even if there is FUD, it would be doused pretty soon, the sentiment of the market outweighs every other thing.

Bitcoin might sell shortly if it is rejected, but I do not see it breaching $35,000 lower anymore, which is fair enough. It might continue to hover around that level when the halving happens and the post-halving effect will help it to grow over time. Nonetheless, we should prepare for the worst as we are only speculating, who knows, the actual event might be better or worse. Also, I do not expect Bitcoin to buy so much after the ETF approval, it will buy but not as many would have expected. The anticipating time has priced that expectation in effectively, so I believe that Bitcoin might not react so well after it.
I feel like that's quite true, I do not think that it will go down just yet, not that much at least. Look at how the price goes up, and that should be the indicator that people needs to realize that ETF is not a must for it to go up. Way too many people think that it will go up only if ETF gets accepted, but that's not true, it is not accepted yet and even without any ETF, the price still did a x3 increase  from the bottom, which is the proof that we need to understand that ETF is not a must.

If anyone out there waiting for ETF to get accepted before they invest, then they are making a big mistake, they should invest before that. I believe that price is still at a good place right now and it could potentially go up even more, we just need to make sure that people are attracted to it good enough. I believe that if we end up with something that will benefit us, then we are going to end up with something that should be just bitcoin itself, be attracted to that.
The people that are still at the sidelines waiting for the approval of a bitcoin ETF are the same people that were waiting for the bottom to take place before buying and they have not done so yet, those people are always looking for the perfect moment to buy, not realizing that when it comes to good assets if the price is far away from its previous ATH and a bullish season is coming then that is a good moment to buy, so they either take the risk now or they will have to buy bitcoin when it is way more expensive.

You don't call somebody an idiot for making a decision.

Perhaps not. But can I call him an idiot for creating this topic to spread this FUD but not having the balls to do it with his main account?

I don't know the source of your information but that is your own opinion. Everything investment has a level of risk attached to it. I don't really care about the ETF because Bitcoin doesn't rely on it to be profitable. Bitcoin reached  all-time high price of $68,789.63 without these institutional investors, so the decision of the SEC is not my problem. Even if the price goes down, it will surely go up with time.

ETF will probably not approved yet, so BTC and the others crypto will go down !!

You're an idiot for selling your crypto because of unconfirmed news.  Selling cryptos based on rumors rarely pans out well.  While the excitement around a potential ETF approval is understandable, acting on unconfirmed news tends to backfire and  instead of panicking, the wiser move is simply to hold steady. Whatever happens with the ETF the market will respond accordingly.

You don't call somebody an idiot for making a decision. The money is his own and not yours so he should be allowed to make his Investment decision. The Bitcoin space also needs people like this to make the market profitable. At least somebody will buy at a cheap price from people who want to dump their coin because of FUD.

Unfortunately, the one you are saying "trusted source" has lied to you. Tongue

One thing more is that do you think ETF is the only reason for Bitcoin to go up? I mean we still have the halving event, and just based on history, the price of Bitcoin tends to increase a few months after the event happened. ETF approval will have a huge impact on the price of Bitcoin, but if "ALL" of the Spot Bitcoin ETFs that have been applied to SEC get rejected (which is highly unlikely), it will only have little to no effect on the price. Maybe we will see a sharp decline for a day, but many will just take the opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a lower price.

Overall, OP is just one of the anti-Bitcoins out there remaining. Instead of spewing nonsense, focus only your life, and just buy Bitcoin. Cheesy

He hasn't been wrong yet. It is still just speculation that the ETF is coming. There are a lot of rumors, but still no official statement. There has been a phase like this before and then the speculators were caught on the wrong foot. I'm neither pro nor con on the ETF thing, but I would remain cautious if I'm just betting on a short-term bull run.

Idiot?  that's harsh  Shocked. There's a nicer way to say it.

There probably is, but I couldn't think of any at the time.  Wink

Rumors are most time untrue doesn't mean some ain't true. An advice was given take it and share your view.

I did share my view. Feel free to ignore it if you don't like the way I put it. But if you (speaking in general) purposely create a profile on the largest Bitcoin community online, just to spread your FUD, I'm free to call you an idiot.

I believe selling is a waste though since we already heading bullish. Bitcoin has seen a lady and its rising.  Grin

I'm glad you agree with my view.

We are hearing rumors both ways. Some say it will be approved others say it will be rejected.

But if you look at the chart for the last few hours, we hit a new yearly high and we are still going up. Seems some news might of leaked and I think some people are trying to get in on the action before it’s approved officially and prices go even higher.

Yeah you are right the rumors have been heavily strong and many ETF experts have been so much predictive that a sec announcement will be made this week or at most 10 of January last I read, this has made the market so bullish. Other thing affect the price pump is the bonds facing bearish period and the likes of real estate and stock looking too over bought and many institutions are leaning towards the bitcoin as a safe heaven for now.

It’s all looking good but should a postponement happens then we will be taking a little correction in the market

this means the movement now is just a BS market? https://coinmarketcap.com/ that is
frustrating for my side that expect great return as the market showing constant increase?
There are less than two weeks left until we know the news, but the only constant is that, no matter how positive or negative it is, by the end of the year we will be above $50,000 unless something very bad happens. Approval of ETFs will make the price rise dramatically, and non-approval will make the price fall and it will rise in the end. In 2020, we had a V shape due to covid19, and it took several months until Bitcoin reached 69k, starting from 6k.
we almost broke that 50k in 2024 so maybe we will be seeing this at the middle of 2023?
or we will be facing dumping first before it will finally hit 50k again?

I don't think that if bitcoin ETF is not approved before the halving that the price of bitcoin will fall drastically. The halving is also what is triggering the price but I know that ETF  rumors is also playing its own role on the high price of bitcoin currently.

Years before now when bitcoin price was still doing great and follows history even without any news on the approval so I believe that we will still have a good price even though SEC failed to approve ETF and the bull run bitcoin price will hit above $100k, but if finally SEC approves it, the price will skyrocket and it will be a win win for investors.

Remember, Bitcoin price isn't only affected by ETFs approval, the halving event will give a huge effect. The last bullrun happen during recession after Covid pandemic, right now the world economy are more stable than before, so I don't see any big thing could deny the bull season which will expected to happen this or next year.

Go ahead, spread this baseless information around so that everybody can buy at a cheaper price. You will be helping a lot of people as well as BlackRock and other huge financial institutions that are already positioning themselves for the upcoming bull run and wider adoption.

I doubt if you have much, but sell what you have if this is what you believe in. However, if you still want them back, be ready with a bigger amount because you will be buying them back at a higher cost.

There is indeed a possibility that a spot Bitcoin ETF won't be approved soon. But that doesn't mean the price would go down. The US spot Bitcoin ETF is a story of rejection after rejection after rejection. But, hey, look at the price of Bitcoin. It's approaching $50,000.

Investors relying on ETFs must face losses if ETFs are not approved. But there is no information that the ETF will be approved or not. Various types of fake news exist on online platforms. Some are assuming SEC will give approval and some others are not. There will be mixed reactions in the market with the issue. But as an investor you have to make your own decision considering the loss. It should also plan in advance what action should be taken if the ETF is not approved. The current market condition is positive and if ETF is not approved at this point then the price may change for a short period of time.
