Don't pay too much attention or rely on ETFs because the ETF problem has been around for a long time and in reality does not affect the price increase and growth of Bitcoin, And the big picture over time. more and more people are seeing Bitcoin as a valid reserve asset, and not subject to inflation and if you believe this, Bitcoin should not be based on an ETF or anything else.
And if the ETF doesn't agree for the umpteenth time, there will likely only be a short-term price decline. However, in the long term, Bitcoin will continue to rise and develop because investors or everyone realizes that Bitcoin is an investment and also the best asset among others.

If Bitcoin ETF is not confirmed, then what? Do you think that the majority of Bitcoin holders will cry and sell their Bitcoin because they are afraid that the Bitcoin price will drop when it is not/has not been confirmed? only speculators are afraid when this happens, because they invest only for short-term profits, like you do. On the other hand, holders who invest for the long term will hold their Bitcoin and don't care whether the Bitcoin ETF is accepted or not, because it doesn't really affect Bitcoin's future development.

The price of Bitcoin isn't dependent on a Bitcoin spot ETF. Whether a Bitcoin spot ETF in the US will be approved soon or not, it doesn't matter. Bitcoin has reached almost $70,000 even before an application for a Bitcoin spot ETF was filed. It could get back to that price and even surpass that with or without a Bitcoin spot ETF.

But the question of a Bitcoin spot ETF is a matter of when and not if. So whether all the applications will be rejected soon, they will all just refile their applications. And many more will join them. Meanwhile, Bitcoin doesn't care.

There will always be people who try to spread FUD about Bitcoin. These individuals aim to make people into selling their crypto holdings, causing them to incur losses. It is important to remember not to trust such individuals, and some even ask for help to spread FUD on social media platforms.

Don't trust any information with "I've heard from someone, Trust me I got it from a trusted source".

much better to buy when there lots of rumors and when the news comes for sure the price will go up, because new and panic traders will try to bag a lot , that will be the time to sell, since I have witness etf being rejected many times, although this time big and well known company like BlackRock is in the picture, so I'm 50/50 in this situation but we must always be cautious of the situation.

Well, this strategy only works if the ETFs are going to be rejected again and again. If once it got approved you are going to FOMO as many others too. If I would bet on a long term success of Bitcoin (meaning positive price development), this strategy would be too risky for me.

Simply because not all of us here are traders? And that if it gets denied and drops in price it's just a typical buying opportunity? And get out of here with the "heard of it from a trusted source" crap. Let me guess, your dad also created Bitcoin?

ETF will probably not approved yet, so BTC and the others crypto will go down !!

You're an idiot for selling your crypto because of unconfirmed news.  Selling cryptos based on rumors rarely pans out well.  While the excitement around a potential ETF approval is understandable, acting on unconfirmed news tends to backfire and  instead of panicking, the wiser move is simply to hold steady. Whatever happens with the ETF the market will respond accordingly.

Idiot?  that's harsh  Shocked. There's a nicer way to say it. Rumors are most time untrue doesn't mean some ain't true. An advice was given take it and share your view. I believe selling is a waste though since we already heading bullish. Bitcoin has seen a lady and its rising.  Grin

It's funny news I heard for the 1st time this year. I just know it from you if the bitcoin price is very dependent on ETF. You have to know In 2021 ETF news not massive as now, but the bitcoin price was create a new ATH of $69K, so what does that happen?, is that effect of ETF?, I think not because bitcoin price is not influenced by one side news, but from several people who just bought bitcoin which understand the bitcoin technology, not because of the news or awesome thing.

You won't be easily influenced by small things, ETFs are just whales' trinkets to get more profit. Because the Bitcoin price will be rise if the people really buy original form on the spot or p2p market.

Cashback 15%
Lots of ETFs have been presented and rejected over the years and we are still posting good gains year over year. ETFs are not the only ones defining the trend on bitcoin prices as there are always other factors entailed to it. Also, with lots of approval in the past years, I'm pretty sure those who applied recently have checked the boxes that other applicants prior have failed to check. As I see it, there isn't anything that is getting in the way of ETFs to be approved, just the SEC or their counterparts on other countries.

There is absolutely no way that ETFs are not going to get approved. There just is not anything of substance blocking the approval.

If anything, if it did happen (somehow), a non-approval will be for the reason of pure market manipulation. Once the price of Bitcoin is lowered down just enough, and all the shady characters have filled their wallets, the ETFs will get approved at a later date.

But as I already said, ETFs will be approved soon. OP is just spreading FUD with his throwaway newbie account for whatever reason.

OP heard from "a man" where "a man" heard from "a trusted source"
seems legit (sarcasm)

what would be better source is to listen to interviews from
grayscale
ark21
blackrock
concerning what the SEC has said to them during december 2023, to then get the tidbits of information regarding the opinions of the SEC decision making

so lets dig in
Ark21 said that if applicants cant meet X standards by january, dont bother updating applications, it wont get approved in the current line up

after being denied without questioning.. to be questioned back and forth this time around has been very encouraging
final updates of 29th december:
we are very encouraged by our partner 21share, we had crossed every T dotted every i to the secs satisfaction. i think the message about the 29th is, 'look if your not ready to go on or around january 10th, then do not submit any more to us, because we have too much to do here'. this is also encouraging because it seems like the SEC is setting a deadline for itself, which is great

there is other news. like
blackrock sets JP morgan and Jane street as the basket agents (authorised participants)
fidelity also sets Jane street as their basket agents(authorised participants)

It is simple. We are all speculating and there is definitely no confirmation yet whether it will be approved or not. And as someone who is just also speculating depending on the mood of the approvers, there is nothing for me to worry about because with or without these ETFs, I am no doubt going to hold for long term. We shouldn't be discouraged if it gets declined or all of it didn't get an approval. We've got the best factor for BTC's bull run and that is halving.

When I sell the crypto and the news will confirmed, it will save me thousands, and if not, nothing happens,

Nothing happens? Except you are likely to lose thousands of dollars and regret the missed opportunity when the "news" does not prove to be true.  Until you can produce verifiable proof of your claims, we can only conclude that you're making things up.

I just buy it back before the price rises. When I think about it, the more people will sell, the more the price drops, so even if the message will not confirmed, it could help too, because at the same price everyone would get more ...

So, that's your goal? You expect that this insignificant FUD will start a mass sale to lower the price? Dream on.  Cheesy

Hope it will help to people...

It will not.

I heard it today at night from the man, who has that supposedly from a trusted source... Of course it is not guaranteed information, but why risk. When I sell the crypto and the news will confirmed, it will save me thousands, and if not, nothing happens, I just buy it back before the price rises. When I think about it, the more people will sell, the more the price drops, so even if the message will not confirmed, it could help too, because at the same price everyone would get more ...
Hope it will help to people...

PS:
I wanted to put it on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and so on ... but I don't have my laptop with login info, so if someone could help and send that ...
It could help many people ...
                                                  Thanks and Bye
