Do you still think the Ethereum bubble popped? The price is $14 now, it is just $1 below the all time high?
What site are you using? On preev the rate is 13.65 USD, that is still pretty good don't get me wrong.

It seems there is very strong support of the price of Ethereum. The big dump after the DAO did not appear.

Even the DAO price is quite strong, it just dropped 10% against the Ethereum. People still want it.

The PoW can put a floor price support to the Etheruem price. That is because there is cost associated with mining.

or it is also possible that everybody leaves it behind after a while because it is no longer profitable to mine and the pump-ability also becomes less and less over time.

That is possible. If there is no further developmnet of the Etheruem, people will leave, nobody will mine.

So far, there is good development in the Etheruem system. We have the smart contract and the DAO already.

There is indeed development, but with competing technologies already in play, unless the development is fast and effective it will be sharing market eventually. Smart contracts sound great, but the real life use cases don't really seem to be there imo. Also understand that a lot of people are invested in this coin for profit, not because they care about the future of the technology. Makes for weak hands.

Do not worry about the short term volatility. In long term, the Ethereum price will rise as long as it is PoW.

Most of the cryptos fell very hard lately and Bitcoin has a huge sudden grow.
However, ETH started falling before this, it may not be that much related.

Now, ETH fell only to the level it was less than 1 month ago, so it's not that big yet.
I don't know what will the future bring, but I'd say that ETH still allows plenty of room for speculation. The bagholder term doesn't apply yet...

The price dropped to 0.02 early today. Then it rose to 0.025. That is 25% in a few hours. So volatile.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
The first of many. It's clear that as each day passes and more and more devs jump on the Ethereum blockchain ETH will have more and more utility than BTC. The DAO is just one example.

One of the reason why i jumped to ETH too. A lot of devs been developing projects related to ETH as well. This is because theres so much room for it unlike bitcoin.
I realized his when i saw the upcoming projects on list of ICOs.

Someone posts this, or similar, every week. Yet ETH keeps going strong  Roll Eyes

The Ethereum price dropped to 0.24 now, but that is mainly becuase the bitcoin has risen a lot.

i think eth still got some life in it. but in the long run its going down but it will take some time.
While microsoft still funding their development, it's very unlikely that ETH will die.

The devs are still active , so dying is still hard for ETH.

The devs are active, the DAO is being brought to life, the financial corporations are building on the Ethereum, and the community is strong. Fertile grounds for investment.

As long as the Ethereum is developed actively, the price will not drop dramatically if there is no flash crash.

In fact the Ethereum is trading between 0.017 to 0.022 range. It is small in the digital coin world. It will help its adoption.

The Etehreum price rose to 0.033 a few days ago, but it dropped to 0.027 now. It might drop further.

I also think the Ethereum will just consolidate round the 0.025 level and wait for the next push.
