And now it turns out to be a shady scam, it is unbelievable. I always trusted NXT, it is my friend coin, ETH is just a piece of scam in my views.
ETH's rise is somewhat coincident with NXT's fall, but not the cause.
NXT got off to a terrible start with distribution limited to a tiny handful of whales.
Then it was hollowed out by multiple forks of its code and socioeconomic ecosystem (NEM/SYS, and/or whatever they were called).
For over a year, NXT has been a solution in a futile search for a problem to solve.
It's old, outdated, and dying, just like the language in which it was written.

New sources are stepping up questions about Oracle's stewardship of the Java development platform
There has been a lot of scuttlebutt lately about Oracle and a supposed de-emphasis on Java within the company. The rumblings are getting louder.
From the apparent dismissal of Java evangelists to an email alleging a shrugged-shoulders attitude about Java, Oracle’s commitment to the platform has come into question.
The email, sent to InfoWorld on Tuesday by a former high-ranking Java official, claimed to feature details from inside Oracle. It said the company was becoming a cloud company, competing with Salesforce, and "Java has no interest to them anymore." The subject line cited "Java -- planned obsolescence."
Yea but they got a huge dev team working in it actively, and they will fix any bug they found.
They put out many new innovations since their launch so it is a definitely a great currency to hold in my view.
The time of NXT will come, very very soon
