Can Ethereum surge past Bitcoin in this upcoming Bull Market? The supply has dropped a lot and it's no more inflationary, I think with this, Ethereum will make a new all-time high we have never seen before, do you think I am wrong?

bitcoin will always be on top no matter what happens in the crypto world.
because the price movements of all altcoins are affected by btc prices.
therefore btc is irreplaceable.

I'm sure that the next bull market will definitely make the price of Ethereum increase very high and even make a new ATH price, but for Ethereum surge past Bitcoin I don't think it's possible, because the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase very high and make a new ATH price too, even my prediction if Bitcoin price increased higher than Ethereum.
Seeing as Ethereum can pass Bitcoin I guess it's only a small possibility,
indeed there is no guarantee that Bitcoin will always be on top but we also have to see how the movement of the two coins after the bull market,
let's see what happens in the future.
I don't know if Bitcoin will stay where it is now. I think Bitcoin can do better. But Ethereum will never compete with Bitcoin. Because of the popularity that Bitcoin has.  Ethereum doesn't have it. So what will happen in the future can't be said.

It is deflationary however the supply is still huge for ETH. The amount that gets burnt is very small compared to the total amount of ETH out there. And keep in mind that if the fees goes down then the ETH fees burnt also go down. There is no guarantee that the fees will always be high. Days like today they were low.

The higher the marketcap, the less chance of a coin to increase in price. Little amount of money pumped into low marketcap coin can result to high increase in the price of the coin.

Ether is having lower marketcap to bitcoin, definitely the price may increase than bitcoin, but many other altcoins too. Many other altcoins that have lower marketcap to ether can increased in price than ether also.

Altcoins can pump more than bitcoin generally because they have low marketcap.
Yes, I agree with this point. Altcoins, including Ethereum, have the potential to experience more significant price increases due to their lower market cap compared to Bitcoin. However, it's essential to remember that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and unpredictable. While Ethereum may indeed surpass its previous all-time high, it's not guaranteed that it will outperform Bitcoin in the upcoming bull market. Factors such as adoption, technology improvements, and market sentiment will all play a role in determining the performance of each cryptocurrency.

ETH. It’s still easier to grow than BTC and with more upgrades and integration of DeFi/smart contracts/NFTs into the mainstream, I can see it having a better % year than BTC.

so much money wasted on gas fee alone already making this blockchain unsustaining logically but until now it seems many projects are kept choosing ethereum for some reasons.
eth perform better because it's the first ever smart contract based blockchain and huge amount of users still heavily prefer this blockchain.

The deflationay was making ethereum become even more stable. The ability for anyone to stake or unstake their ethereum has been also making the price is going very high. It's remain even more stable at this moment. I think that the price of ethereum is still depending with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is still showing stable performance this time. Eth could outperform btc due to the deflationary but this also depends on how big the hype.

Q Blockchain redistributes gas fees to Q holders instead of burning them. This is a more sustainable model for the longevity of the chain because it reduces friction for users. Several other L2s and chains have 0 fees, which will soon make Ethereum uncompetitive.

Ethereum is like a queen and Bitcoin would still be a king. and now Ethereum become more efficient has dozen of layer 2 and transactions are cheap and fast since becoming PoS and you all already know that Ethereum has a bunch of Decentralized Projects like DeFi, GameFi, and lot other.

But the Ethereum still had unlimited supply and the new system like deflationary and tx burn maybe slow down the supply but now it reached more that supply of bitcoin so replacing from number one is not quite there yet but has possibilities in my opinion.

But altcoin like etherum is good to watch maybe if bitcoin reach 100% from current price eth can perform higher like 150-200% so it always good to wacth

Ethereum will not pump because it is unuseable due to gas fees. Users have moved to newer chains with low to 0 gas fees. Polygon has low gas fees and Q Blockchain has free transactions when you consider that they have gas fee redistribution.

I disagree, people used ethereum even during times when gas used to cost in hundreds (when eth was around $4k), this very gas spikes show that ethereum is being used a lot. I am pretty sure it'll reach $7k in next bull run.

While I think that Ethereum won't be able to surpass Bitcoin in terms of price yet, I think that in terms of potential profits there is a bit of a chance. And yes, I too think that there is a huge chance for us to see another ATH for Ethereum, not just a small one at that but one that is a lot higher that the most recent ATH of Ethereum. A lot of people may already be seeing this and are already stacking up on Ethereum as much as they can. Even the people I interact with like friends and friends of friends are also stacking up on Ethereum and has quite a positive outlook on it.

forget about deflationary, eth could perform better if it could solve the fee, there is reason layer 2 could take up huge chunk of eth market share that is because fee, if fee is not problem, then these l2 are pretty much useless, but we all know ethereum will just keep charging $200 for simple NFT minting so this blockchain isn't really deflationary.

Fee reduction is in the roadmap. NFT mint costs about $30 at current gas prices with 80 gwei. You can track the required ETH/USD for NFT mints and other things in real-time here. Ethereum is still deflationary regardless of gas costs.

L2s will continue to exist despite ethereum solves it's scalability problems, as there will always be room for further improvement. Furthermore, they have already been widely adopted, there is no going back.

No, you're not wrong because there are some signs Ethereum price has displayed few weeks ago that made holders to have faith in their holding that they will have something good to achieve this year. I don't think, Ethereum will pump more than Bitcoin in this season because whenever the price of Bitcoin is rising Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies will be rising too, show that Bitcoin will continue leading the cryptocurrencies. If you have money to invest in this period, I will advise you to invest in Ethereum because the price will allow you to purchase huge amount of Ethereum and hold until the price rise higher before you can sell to make a good profits.

...The supply has dropped a lot and it's no more inflationary, I think with this, Ethereum will make a new all-time high we have never seen before, do you think I am wrong?

Ethereum is considered one of the undervalued coins, so it would be right to expect a new ATH, which we must see on the bull run. And the fact that Ethereum has become deflationary after the merger only adds to the confidence that the price of ETH will increase.
I still believe that ETH will be able to reach another ATH in this coming bull season, it grows together with others but yes, somewhat not far from the previous ATH. Honestly, the merger disappoints us investors/holders as it never helps the situation and sadly it causes huge fees as well. However, despite what we face today, we know the trust of the people remains and more people will take the opportunity to buy ETH while the price is still low.
Demand will continuously grow as per to see when the halving is coming, this is also the situation in the previous years and comes to happens again.

Ethereum has seen significant growth and adoption over the past few years, driven by its ability to enable smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) on its blockchain. In contrast, Bitcoin has been widely recognized as the first and most valuable cryptocurrency, with a significant market capitalization and adoption rate.

It's worth mentioning here that the performance of both cryptocurrencies will be influenced by a range of factors, including their adoption rates, network effects, technological advancements, market conditions, and regulatory environments. While Ethereum's supply reduction and deflationary pressure may contribute to its performance, they are not the only factors that will influence its value.
