Good thing that Ethereum token holders have no say in the hard fork decision, otherwise, Ethereum would be a DAO

The harvesting of passive HF supporters continues unabated as miners make your choices for you because you don't want to have control over your life.
Eh? ETH wallets had option to vote on HF so ETH hodlers opinions were gauged. And they voted overwhelming for HF. Quit fudding FFS.

Honestly what votes? Those on carbonvote.com  Roll Eyes, the 65% of miners who voted NO on ethpool.org and etherminer.org ?
It's clearly that the HF will happen today but honestly they are mostly doing this to recover the funds of theDao investors and imho to avoid any future legal issues Wink.

It's definitely a bail-out

I think the 65% of the miners who voted no should go to another pool which does not support the hard fork.

How's the fork going? was it successful

Hasn't occurred yet, check back tomorrow, and the next few days . Bitfinex is still investigating if they will support ETh and EThClassic chains. Grab some popcorn, the drama has just started

Define success.

Well said. There is no road to success now for Ethereum. Just a set of dangerous paths and almost equally horrible choices to make.

im pretty sure ETH will be better, yeah i know steem is dominate the market now but please do not say this is the end of ETH becouse other developments are still in the process

I think people are now only waiting for the time when they will see the price at a level that they get their expected profit and after that I don't think that anyone will invest there for long run.

I am free to 'not support the hard-fork' as you are free to support it, at the end of the game the HF will succeed anyway but in that case ethereum will go against its genesis principles.
My post wasn't about the fork. More the immature pathetic playground attacks on Vitalik.

I think that post on reddit was about the fork, VB was used only to explain better a concept the HF.

I believe that ETHEREUM maybe too big to fail at the moment and a crash of this sort would put a lot of people into disarray, having said that there are many of us who did not invest in ETHEREUM at the time, so not sure if it would be a good time to invest now. Any advice on if it is good to invest in ETEHEREUM at this juncture?

Ethereum Hardfork Announcement: According to the voting result (65% in favor of not supporting the fork) the pool is supposed not to support the fork. But as all other major pools (e.g. dwarfpool, ethermine, nanopool) are supporting the fork we can and will not jeopardize any mining income of the pool by mining on a chain that has a very high probability to get orphaned. Therefore, according to our voting policy stated in the announcement, we will support the hard fork. More information on the upcoming fork can be found on the Ethereum blog. As a pool miner you do not need to take any action on your side because of the fork.
