This problem has become one of the biggest problems at present. For those who are big traders, this fee is not much. But for those of us who have small traders, it has become a big problem. We can't withdraw many tokens because of the high fees. I hope the problem will be solved very soon.

This is normal, because the network is busy now, Ethereum now is in pumping mode. Many people are using Ethereum, sending token in and out, sending to exchange and many more, that's the reason why the network is congested. I hope in the near future the gas fee would be a lessen so we can transfer token much easier anytime.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

It is not known when ethereum fees will stabilize again. It's too high right now, it's a pretty crazy thing.
But they are trying to reduce fees to be able to compete. I think this will be resolved soon... Because partly ethereum prices are getting more expensive, fees are also more expensive....
Ethereum will then regain its position.

Guys, you noticed how recently the gas price reached $ 100 when I wanted to make an exchange for Uniswap. Gwei 700 I was just shocked, even Berlin does not help with such a load.

seems that fee-issue is resolved with Berlin hard-fork, and will be truly solved with London hard-fork, to be in manageable band
of course, 2.0 version should solve all this once for all, and make Ethereum an usable network for everyone, since at the moment, it is hard to have interaction with smart contract without at least $20 fee, which is a upper bound for me to have that interaction, I would rather skip DeFi interaction, and leave my funds as it is, if the fee is higher than this

for sending Ether to other addresses, fee does not seem to be high, it is usually in $2-$5 range, which is acceptable

I understand that people are saying that Ether gas fees is low or could be in some specific time but if we have a transaction to complete immediately that means we dont have a choice but to use the high fess.

just tried sending some small ether to transfer some coins out of a wallet and the fee is about $3+ and the thing is, it is even more than an hour and still in queue

as you can see that amount of eth is about $3+ on the exchange.

I truly hope this will resolve soon.

The problem regarding transaction fees has actually been resolved, however, due to the fact that ethereum has experienced a significant increase, the current USD conversion rate has increased.
You must be able to choose the right time to make transactions using ethereum. I myself now no longer send tokens on the ERC-20 network due to the costly transaction fee factor

This is the beauty of ETH, I see it even though the price of ETH gas increases does not discourage its users from transacting and some time ago I have also seen gas costs also go down when the ETH price was bullish a few days ago https://prnt.sc/12kg658

ETH has indeed succeeded in reducing very high gas fees, and the impact of ETH prices has soared very high, but in my opinion BSC gas fees are still cheaper than ETH, maybe in the future ETH will continue to try to reduce gas fees until they can compete with BSC

In the long term, BSC or some other competitor will eat in to the ETH monopoly on smart contract platforms. The process has already started and many of the newer projects are opting for non-ETH platforms. But for existing projects, moving to another platform is not very easy and for now many of them are maintaining the status quo despite the high fee. They are hopeful that the fee will get lower in the near future. If that doesn't happen, then these projects will move to some other Blockchain.

For now they've got a good alternative in case this issue with the high transaction fees continue, ERC users can move
to BSC migrations are possible to happened.

Though for sure ETH team will make a good look and the incoming update might give developers a good one, everything
still possible along the way.
BSC transactions are much smoother than ETH transactions, and I personally don't mind the transaction fees because they are very low and very quick.

Many projects have migrated to the BSC because many traders and investors are stocking up on BNB because the market is currently bullish and the transaction costs in the BSC are not as large as in other blockchains.
For some small traders who are just getting started, ETH transaction fees can be prohibitively expensive, which is why I suggest BNB for use in DeFi ventures.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

Well I think now seeing the gwei at 39-46 range is now a good indication that ethereum blockchain is fixing this issue and I think sooner it will go back at a very reasonable gas fee.
yes, things are starting to get better. some people I believe have started trading their tokens which still have their current price. because I am sure that many traders ultimately cannot sell their tokens even though the price is rising, but if you see high transaction fees, all will definitely fail.

ETH gas fee is now down unexpectedly and I believe it is now getting back to be in the lead above the BINANCE SMART CHAIN that people now migrate to because of its low cost of gas fees on transactions. I believe that is also responsible in the uprising in ethereum price lately.

the more expensive the price of Ethereum, the more expensive the GAS fee we have to spend,
when the Ethereum network is full of GAS it can be up to $ 50- $ 100 to transact on Uniswap, of course this is a bad thing,
for just selling of course we have to pay such a large fee, for unknown reasons Ethereum Until now I still don't have a solution for all of this, disappointing.

be patient crypto friends because today's high transaction fees will recover at a later date. This is not the end of the Ethereum transaction fee story. just wait everything will return to normal. maybe this is their way to pump up ethereum's current prices. They are definitely developing the ethereum platform for a better one at a later date. has low transaction fees and fast transaction processing. Just pray for the best for all altcoin holders on ethereum wallet.

At that time, I thought it was natural that Ethereum became the virtual currency that had the highest transaction fees, due to the density of transactions carried out in Ethereum. but for now the transaction fees are quite cheap and not too high.

... ETH is expected to find the solution to the problem of high fee gas, and finally it worked

Hmmm ...Not really imo.

Over the last few days, I have noticed (as you did) that tx fees have become much more acceptable on the eth network. I explain this in part by the fact that many other blockchains are attracting users (including bsc, Solana or Matic). Fewer users = less congested network = lower costs. I may be wrong but I see it like that.   Plus, saying eth has already solved it's fees issue is wrong, to me.

My 2 cents !  Wink

Ethereum still has expensive GAS even though they have released Ethereum 2.0 but the ETH problem is still not resolved,
yes, right now, GAS on ethereum requires more than $ 10 for one transaction, where I also often experience failures and have to add more GAS.
disappointing because this is what the crypto currency community hates! Strangely, the price of Ethereum is getting up and up, to the new all time high

The high gas fee lately is really terrible, I hope the gas fee which is quite high as it is now will end soon and it can be normal as before, Because otherwise the small investors will be overwhelmed by this kind of situation

Relax mate, Ethereum gas fee now is very low compare with the previous gas fee when it was very high.
But because the Ethereum price is very high, the gas fee looks expensive in USD value.
Now we know the gas fee is not too high anymore, small holders and investors can have more room to join in ethereum blockchain.
