Don't even think there is going to be a way out to curb this ethereum gas fee, because early this year people say that by July the gas fee will reduce as a result of the launching of etherum 2.0, still now no different, as of yesterday want to swap 17$ the gas fee is also 17$ was discouraged.

Currently the exorbitant fees of eth gas are making traders and token companies think twice about transactions. if this situation continues in the following days, then many new projects will use platforms other than eth to avoid high gas costs. BSC and Pollygon are one of them.

I'm hoping there will be an alternative to Ethereum that is as good as or better than Ethereum. Gas costs have risen to the point where I can't even sell some coins for cash. I'm no longer able to utilize Ethereum as a Bitcoin substitute; I'm hoping that things will improve in the future.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

Yes, we can see that the transaction gas fee for Ethereum platform has increased a lot. A few days ago, when the price of Etherium dropped a lot, its transaction gas fee was reduced a lot. But now the transaction gas fee has increased a lot to increase the price of etherium. We are all hopeful that its transaction gas fee will be reduced very soon.

It would be best if the next version of ETH fixes this matter. Token issued from ETH chain gas fee over 10$ per transaction. It is a huge gas fee and a big variant if compare with the token issue from the BNB chain.
It's absolutely insane for those miners to think an average person can offer such an amount for just one tranfer of tokens, I've moved on from Ethereum since these high gas fees issues have been using bsc and Near Protocol, and so far both have been great, although bear protocol gas fees are more cheaper, I'm sensing that bsc might have the same problem as eth, cuz since bnb grew like eth it needs at least $0.6 to perform a transaction while it cost just $0.01 to make a transaction on near blockchain.

I think the current high gas fee is due to traffic on the ethereum network.  Ethereum network is supporting  a lots of projects and ethereum platform is preferred by the developers and investors alike.  When traffic become low,  the gas fee will be low as well!

even now ethereum gas is still high to make an ERC20 token transaction it takes 12$-30$
this is the problem for ETH blockchains that has not been resolved until now is the high fee even some projects are pending distribution because the fee is too high
We thought that the London hard fork will decrease the fees. But with the looks that we have in the market, there's still not that much effect from that fork.
We have no idea until when we're going to see the fee gets lower.

That's true after the anticipated upgrade and implementation of EIP-1559 Ethereum becomes worst, the gas fees even on Ethereum token transfer is now more expensive than before, but besides that problem, Ethereum developers are boosting with pride that the network has continued to burn millions of dollars worth of Eth it seems that they don't care us the ordinary users. I hope more and more projects will bridge Ethereum to other networks such as BSC or Polygon so that the gas problem will be minimized.

Now the Ehereum gas fee is less. Sometimes it comes too lower, only 10-15 GWEI. At the time of writing this message, the GWEI is 60. Which I think is average. You can swap your tokens or transfer your tokens when GWEI decreases to 20-30. Ethereum is doing good so I think we will see gas fee too low in near future.

Ethereum gas fees are very high at the moment and day by day it's increasing more. The ethereum fees is always higher than other platform based token. But still people like to use it. But for last few months it's just skyrocketing. The reasons behind this was Normally the defi and ded platforms. And the number of defi s are increasing so the gas price of eth too. But I think after ethereum 2.0 fully implementation the gas fees will be lower than now.

Only for a high gas fee do I avoid ethereum based transactions. Nowadays most of the time I use Trc20 based coins. It's very fast and transaction fees are also very low. However, Now Ethereum Ethereum Gas price is acceptable. Right now 25 Gwei is using for fast transactions.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

This is nothing infront of ethereum fees which I saw in previous 3 month. About 3 month ago I had participate in IDo whitelist and I was selected as a winner but when I visit his site to claim my token the ethereum fees almost hit 30000$ which is really crazyful but I was confused when I saw that many of people are paying this such a huge gas fee.
Its a very bad side of ethereum many invester are unhappy for these gass fee.
When will be it fix

What? $30000? Are you sure you are talking about the right numbers here? I know that if you used Uniswap the fee was indeed three figures, but it never hit $30000! Cheesy Imagine you want to make a transaction and face such a fee, Ethereum would be dead by now. I am not saying that the fees weren't already high enough, but $30000 is again a bit different. Wink

SmartFi - EARN, LEND & TRADE

One of the things I learnt during the time the gas fee was very high is that, a lot of people who invested in Ethereum did so because of how outstanding the Ethereum blockchain is, thus the reason that Ethereum still kept growing amidst the high gas fee. Although I am not justifying the high gas fee because it is a limitation to a lot of people who want to trade, but just pointing out the unique nature of Ethereum blockchain and how valuable the community users holds and regards it.
Nevertheless, nowadays the gas fee keeps reducing, at least the last time I used it and also, the team have already shown enough interest towards working on the network to bring better services hence the ETH 2.0.
Therefore, sooner than later, the problem will be solved and more people will see another better side of Ethereum blockchain.

It seems to me that the gas price is more than acceptable now.
Of course, I don't like the fact that now the gas price is periodically jumping up and becoming quite expensive, especially for altcoins in the ERTs20 network.
However, during the day, the transaction is easily sent at the minimum price.
It is better and acceptable as it has dropped too much. This only shows that the devs have made a great job for providing and helping us lowering the fees that they've made.
Do you mean ERC20 tokens? that's normal. That's why they're doing something to lessen the fees and if you find the fee to be quite expensive the time you transact, wait a little bit for it to drop.

this is the downside of ethereum blockchains and this is what i don't like
the fees on these blockchains are very high in contrast to other blockchains even though ethereum has launched ETH2 but the transaction fees on ethereum blockchains are still high
maybe the developer should pay more attention to this transaction fee

ETHs high gas fees are why I now use NEAR. NEAR is easy for entrepreneurs like myself to build things for a reasonable price. If I was to start a project on ETH compared to NEAR I would be paying 1000+x more and it would be so much slower. New projects like NEAR are the future as mass adoption begins, because they are ready and built for mass adoption.
