Ethereum price surged significantly towards $270 versus the US Dollar, and jumped sharply vs bitcoin. ETH is in a major bull run and it seems like the price might even hit $300.

We saw a sharp increase in Ethereum price above $220 resistance against the US Dollar. The ETH/USD pair gained pace above the $225 resistance and rallied above the second target discussed this week. It broke the key $240 and $250 resistance levels to move further into a positive zone. The uptrend was such that the price gained more than 20% and even tested the $270 level. The price is currently well above the $260 level and placed nicely above the 100 hourly simple moving average.

Ethereum is now making its move...and though a little bit too late relative to the Bitcoin upward swing, I think nobody is complaining and holders are getting happy. I love Bitcoin but many of us are also into Eth and we love Vitalik Buterin, the man behind this cryptocurrency platform some are considering to be the heir apparent to Bitcoin but is also facing its own challenges in terms of adoption and innovations.

Can we expect Ethereum to fight against all odds and get into $500 before the end of 2019?

Projection is good, anyway lets hope for the best of ETH, right now we are in the middle of hopes, hoping that ETH will go higher as we hope. Did anyone here project that it will again hit for 1000usd?

This is my same gut feeling and I hope we're right. I really feel like it will stay at the 250~ mark for about several months before it makes its move.

yes, i also guessed it would happen at the end of this year.
but, back to the beginning, we don't know how the future will work. we must be at that time and enjoy it if it really happens.

It has taken Ethereum quite sometime in order to hit this mark after the crypto bear market. Ethereum is rising as a result of teh increase in price of bitcoin and at this pace i am sure when bitcoin rises again and enters $9k Ethereum would also enter $300.

It would be nice to see eth reach 500 by Q3, then 600+ by Q4.
But near term, I think it will have to pull back to $220-$240 range, before breaking $300.

In my own prediction, it will surely reach $400 in the mid year of 2019. And it would continue to increase until it could reach $500 in the last quarter of this year. Investors hopes to continue pumping for ethereum coin while in this market nearly touches bull run.

If the bull trend continues I expect at least 500$ for the Ethereum. It is not possible to hit the old all time high prices again this year but small and steady growth will make everyone happy. Next pump will take the price of the ETH to another level.

Ethereum will never be left out, now its starting to move like bitcoin. It might be to slow but this what we still need a adjustment and some sign that it's possible that all good crypto will recover after last year's dump. $300 is not impossible for ETH, we will just see it already there or more than that.

in my opinion it is not too difficult for ETH to reach the price of $ 300 because currently the market is in a positive trend.
so I'm sure if ETH will definitely continue to increase even though there are still some setbacks.

I had really big expectations about Ethereum last year.
Someone promised 2500 $ by the end of the year. Nothing happen.
300$ is pretty possible target for Etherum, it can hit the price just during a night indeed.
It still has popularity and demand and 300 $ is just another step to its global success.

it is positive that after strong rise of nearly 50% in few days, ETH is now stable in the range of 250 USD, that seems as a nice area for a new momentum, that will bring us higher, and eventually to 1000 USD until the end of the year
