Actually ETH is falling for last 7-10 days and your numbers didn't blow my mind coz I was waiting for it. I was told several month ago that ETH will fall and some other altcoin with own network can replace ETH as well in future, probably it can be EOS.

I do agree with your stastics for last couple of months but definitely one of the best used used and most promising blockchain technology would be ethereum . People might be falling because of cardano , EOS , TRX , IOST future expectation but once the bull run starts ethereum will be the first coin to be picked up . Its having real use case as well as its been using every day in crypto world.

it is the ETH bubble that has been bursting, the only difference between ETH and your usual pump and dump shitcoin is that a lot of newbies have invested in ETH who are not bag holding it tight so the dump of ETH takes a lot longer than dump of usual shitcoins.

and it is dropping hard. a week ago it was 0.08BTC and now it is 0.06BTC which is a huge drop.


i disagree with both of these statements.
people don't sell their ETH to buy bitcoin, they sell their ETH for bitcoin meaning they exchange it in ETH/BTC market. that  doesn't change bitcoin price and they are doing it because they know ETH is dumping.

and people don't care about these things such as PoS thing, if anything it is a hype coming. the price is dropping because it was pumped. it is as simple as that!!! when a coin is pumped it will be dumped you can't have a pump but not have the dump.

I'm very confident that ETH is here to stay, and will always be a major player. It has happened before that ETH price falls when people decide to buy more BTC, and as others have said,projects that had ICOs last year on ETH are maturing and moving to their own chains. There is no reason to doubt the long-term value of ETH.

we will probably look for these numbers at the end of the year. The current numbers are deceptive. ETH has not found its value yet. I think it will be $ 5,000.

Ethereum has earned its name for years, placing second best cryptocurrency after bitcoin. Its safe to invest in ethereum no matter what hapen bullish or bearish. I really dont care if its falling it will surely bounce back.

the reason behind the fall of ETH for me is very clear: PoS.

to begin with, ETH is valuable because it's in a market. you can trade, sell, buy or mine the coin. That gives ETH the opportunity to speculate the value, and to consider the value of the coin based on the "hype" people have towards this coin.
With PoS, a big part of the value of ETH will GO, because the market will not be able to manipulate the price since the coin will be directly attached to the chain, and the operations like selling, buying, trading will be reduce. And mining directly dead.

So, what will be the value of ETH then? JUST THE VALUE OF THE PRESENT, PAST AND FUTURE SMART CONTRACTS SIGNED WITH THE CHAIN. and also consider this matter. The Structure of the chain and the algorithm cannot be changed. They changed it in the past, and that had to lead to ETC because they could not make those changes directly into to ETH network and for that, they had to create another coin and another blockchain.

if i'm not mistaken, Today the Bitcoin network is restricted to a sustained rate of 7 tps due to the bitcoin protocol restricting block sizes to 1MB. Visa has a daily peak of 4.000 and can do 56.000 if needed. So escalability whise, BTC is shit. So why that value?? Market, manipulation and economical interest.

ETH is not performing well. In fact, it's doing bad, really bad. I don't expect anything good from ETH.

There is no guarantee that in a month there will not be the opposite. In the meantime, most likely you need to sell the etherium. I considered him one of the reliable coins.

After the BitcoinTrash fork ETH lagged significantly behind Bitcoin for most of the bullrun, but ended up with a higher percentage increase by the end of it. Also remember the scam that is EOS has been dumping ETH pretty constantly over the past few days/weeks.

Things will pick up. Panic selling now would not be a smart move.

Could it also be because more and more start-ups from 2017 are switching to their own blockchain (mainnet) and there are selling off their raised eth to fund everything to get this done?

There is no guarantee that altcoin will always valuable, but ETH is different. People looking for opportunities to buy bitcoin and ETH at low price. A few months ago people shocked by the increasing price of ETH, people who hold ETH now will have big opportunity to gain profit from this altcoin. Although it is like a speculation but atleast there is hope because ETH has strong team behind it.

Wow, ETH really falling but its here to stay due to ICOs using it and POS is it really coming to ETH?

It's been always said, that BTC runs the fate for other coins. The BTC dependance, was positive or negative, depending on the value.  But this argument is being proved wrong every once in a while, and this is the time to prove it wrong. Or..... is it that ETH is devaluating so much???

If BTC is said to push all coins why is BTC increasing value and ETH is going down and down??? Real numbers talk. People are selling ETH and buying BTC. ETH will turn PoS in just a few weeks and people know it will destroy its value. There is already a bullrun in this market for BTC. ETH cannot keep up.

Its very laughable to see people talking about the "future" of ETH. Just ignorants talking. Numbers talk, and talk clearly.
