To compare both coins you need to make something to be compared of. For me i prefer Ethereum over Bitcoin since Ethereum is dApps platform which still can grow more in the future as long as theres many projects developed on it. For the community i think both doing great, for transaction fee they are same, expensive and slow.
each of them have strong reason and worthed to buy. ethereum as king of platform have strong fundamental, alot of project launched and builded in this platform so ethereum demand could growth naturally by this . meanwhile in bitcoin as king of cryptocurrency , it have unique thing which is haven't by other coins. although its pure blockchain tecnhology and have no smart contract but bitcoin recognized as revolutioner payment and ledger system that will bring breakthrough in any field.

both are good investments but Bitcoin is much better...Bitcoin is decentralized, transaction fees are also cheaper than ethereum and has been recognized by El Salvador as a legal tender.
btw, I'm waiting for ethereum 2.0 release, I'm curious what the advantages are.
Both are certainly the best coins right now, but I make ethereum for my first priority investment, and happy because the percentage increase in ethereum is higher than bitcoin, the key to success for investing is always patiently waiting.
Yes, but Ethereum also wouldn't have had a huge increase if Bitcoin hadn't moved up by a few percent, as this speaks of the effect of the increase that will occur not the percentage amount seen when it does rise. 
From my point of view, ETH and BTC are very expensive, and if you earn but little, and with the same risks of any investment.
You should use money that is not important to you. For example money that does not affect your wallet.

When it comes to investment, I think both bitcoin and ethereum are equally good indeed,
besides that by investing in one or even both it is much safer,
maybe with the release of ethereum 2.0 it will make the price go up we'll see later
Altcoins will only rise when Bitcoin experiences a large-scale price recovery including Ethereum, this is of course apart from the Ethereum 2.0 update that will occur within this year, but in general the market will recover when Bitcoin has experienced the next pump. besides that by investing in one or even both it is much safer,

When you look at Ethereum vs Bitcoin, you can see that their goals are very different. When you look at their market stats, the difference is not that big. Both coins are equally good. But I think etherium is better for investing. Because the price is still very small compared to Bitcoin. The price of bitcoin now I think is almost at the peak. While the price of Etherium can still rise to compete with bitcoin prices.
As previously suggested these are two different coins and it depends on the reason for your investment. For instance, if you believe BTC is still going to remain the decider for the rest of the markets then it doesn't matter which one you get since everything will get up eventually, yes, the scale would differ but you do get an overall profit. It also depends which coin you like and support more. All in all, there are reasons to buy in on either coins but how much is up for you to decide.

BTC is still the best and the volume is probably the 2nd largest after USDT, but I think there are more ETH users than btc, because eth users usually hold more than 1 wallet.
Yes, I also agree. however, while agreeing that bitcoin is better than ethereum, I might prefer to hold onto ethereum over bitcoin. I think the potential for ethereum to grow and generate profits is much greater than bitcoin. honestly, I would like to see the price of ethereum reach 0.2 btc for 1 ethereum. it can make our assets while holding ethereum increase in terms of dollars, and BTC.especially in the current conditions, of course we need to be patient waiting for ethereum to grow,

Both coins are great for investment but I like most Ethereum because if it goes to 4k$, we will get double profit and it can go to 10k$. So we can get 5x profit. I will suggest you invest in Ethereum. If you are confused, you can invest in both 50-50.

Regardless of which one is the best, I think you should try both because these two coins are very good in terms of fundamentals and when viewed for the future prospects are very promising.

If in the comparison between BTC & ETH, Definitely i will go to put BTC on top position, this is the first digital coin developed in back 2009, It almost 2 decades have passed and dominated in the Cryptocurrency market. But ETH is big projects and it’s able to built a big community, And thousands of projects developed in Ethereum network. You can invest on the both sides.

Depends. I'd still go after altcoins though... something like DIVI or XRP is a great option in my opinion. Currently using DIVI to stake and run nodesI'd still wanna go for other top-performing altcoins. Aside from ETH, there's also ADA, LTC, and BNB.

Probably those two you mention are one of the trusted coins in cryptocurrency, Maybe if I choose those tow coins maybe both of them. No doubt about that rather than other coins thus not have high volume and not have a potential to be popular in the future.

I am replying to your post while BTC and Ethereum have gotten ATH and now again in the dip but I am still confident that BTC and Eth will again go up for new ATH so be patient and hold as if you can not hold you will never be rich.
