both will survive... even though ETHEREUM is currently experiencing a very drastic decline in prices but I am sure ETHEREUM will rise again. ETHEREUM and EOS are ranked in the top 5 coin markets, so their toughness doesn't need to be doubted.
For me both coins will survive the market. I base my answer with each achievements and performance with their good platform. Both helps the growth of crypto economic although currently it looks like unhealthy but probably in due time it will bounce back again. It is decreases but pretty sure that it will go to moon once there will have increase.

I think that Ethereum will definitely survive, but I do not know EOS, maybe it will live for a while, and then die, and maybe it will live for many years. It is difficult to say in advance. But coins are promising.What are the +/- for each one and Why will this one survive?

Both will survive, as the basics are quite strong. And to put it realistically, ETH is still ages ahead of EOS, in terms of development, acceptability and user-base (doesn't mean that ETH is technologically superior to EOS).
I think both will survive. Both are wonderful projects. I hope it will grow even further 
both of them now show good potential between ETH or EOS now still has good potential, we can see if the two coins have a pretty good value, so I think they are good for investment choices
There is no =/- factor for me on the 2 alternative coins.
They are both good and will survive the market definitely. what i hold more and buy now is Etehreum as they will launch soon the ETH 2.o
And i am still waiting for the EOS announcement about what development will they do to overcome the fall.

You can see that it is having a good volume there which shows use case in both platform

It is still not clear what will happen with eos in the future, since its developer wants to switch to a new project, there is a risk that eos will become bts number two
the two altcoins will last in the future. ethereum will remain the first choice for the Smartcontrac Platform and EOS will compete with ethereum to determine who is the best. Regardless of all that, these two altcoins will remain in the future, they will survive whatever happens later.
Both coins will survive but market is dropping everyday and no one knows the bottom of this market but those coins have strong earning potentials and good contenders for long term holding.
EOS has already gone down to the price of ICO. these are practically the lowest prices now. Soon there will be a price as on Pre-ico

It seems like you're wrong, Eos is sure to survive because he is a good project. I think that all the good things on his platform don't exist in other platforms. so I believe EOS will be more developed in the future.

I am sure that, as usual, Ethereum will survive, in spite of all the statements of the haters. EOS is a dead project, Larimer himself said that he would leave the project, which already leads to certain thoughts.
While it is good to predict which coin will survive, I think it is more appropriate to examine first the reason why you want to have either of this coins for holding. On my opinion it doesn't really matter that much which coin remains or is better than the other, what matters most is how do you intend to use or use any of these coins. Using them just for holding and aiming for a profit would only cost others to lose as much. The reason is simple, take a look at what happens now! Fake demands or usage will only create volatility of the coin and or in a larger view would create a sort of a bubble. We don't want this to happen so that use this coins properly that would matter most.
Presently, among other coins, my focus is still on Eth, because it us still very much relevant for trading. It is is even the best i can use for trading at the moment. So i cannot do without it. As for EOS, it is also a good coin, but it is also moving along the trend of the current market situation.
I think these 2 coins will survive, but of course they will compete in the future I think , but of course for investment it is better to choose 2 coins and to diversify !
currently two coins have lost too much value, ethereum has seen two digits at the end. I think they will recover both in a new wave of upward movement. I would prefer eos
At the moment, the Ethereum development team will improve the partocrats and solve the problem of scaling so I'm with my hands and feet for ETH
