Ethereum is always at the top of altcoins SOL is the new crypto making its place. The price of SOL is increasing due to some increase in demand. As an investor I would prefer ethereum as a trusted currency and this cycle is not over and with the rise in value of bitcoin ethereum will do well in the altcoin market. Even if SOL can hold more than ethereum will increase in price more than SOL.
Sol is definitely the one that takes all the gains here, basically the protagonist of the cycle starting out with massive fud about ftx possesing big chunk of the coin and ended upr eaching almost 20x definitely
no other coin could be as good as this at this point except stx which surprisingly enough is gaining some big value these days.
I think the coin that are L2 pretty much settled at this cycle around and they are doing pretty well, im expecting some other coin to follow though in the upcoming bullrun thats about to come
im having big expectation right now that bitcoin and altcoin in general would definitely have chance again to make some massive gains in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned I guess.
in the meantime im accumulating more and more coin because holder always win as many have said in the past that still valid until now.

Honestly I think ethereum would not be exceeding expectations anymore nor will it do exceptionally great in the next bull run. Might be a hot take but I just feel there’s nothing too surprising that it can do anymore. I’m not saying it will fail or anything I just think it would be in the comfort zone but hey, I am very willing to be proven wrong.
Solana is a strong contender coming out with multiple projects that all have really great potential. Its varied ecosystem will definitely prove to be a huge success later in on the future.

I can’t really speak looking forward because I don’t watch these markets very well. I can say that Solana seems to be having its day in the sun at the moment. It’s up more than 20x off the lows and has continued to rise even as seemingly everything else crashed the last couple days. Its performance has been impressive.
Many coins have shown a pump due to the increase in the price of Bitcoin. The current bullish cycle has seen both Ethereum and Solana coin rise, with Solana coin in particular performing exceptionally well. Ethereum is following Bitcoin, Ethereum followed the same path when Bitcoin took a correction two days ago. Solana meanwhile, has held up market performance despite the ups and downs in bitcoin prices. We have seen Solana market prices above $200 this month. I think Solana could reach its all-time high in value if the bull season starts after the Bitcoin halving. 
Currently Solana is performing better and I think in future it will also perform better and very soon it will reach to its previous ATH. Meme coins are now profitable and most of the people are accepting it due to quick rise but Solana is moving more higher as compared to other meme coins.
If we talk about overall altcoins then Ethereum is on the top and will always remains on the top due to quick progress. Pepe and floki are also good for investment but as compared to Solana they are less profitable so I think if you want to choose a single coin then choose Ethereum otherwise for diversification Solana will also gives you more profit.

I personally like ETH because it has been on the 2nd rank since a long time.
But SOL has been doing really good when it comes to pumping in price.
From that perspective, I think SOL will be giving out better returns in this bull cycle.

Ethereum is already an established player due to its ecosystem and being one of the most trusted altcoins to date. Solana is new to crypto and in recent times it has grown its ecosystem due to which it is showing positive signs. As an investor, it is easier for my pocket to buy SOL than ETH. Due to this reason, I would go for SOL rather than ETH as I would still be able to get more SOL with an investment of $1000 than ETH.

Good point, although looking at the 1hr chart now, there were small corrections, but it has been recovering (this is dangerous, as in the short term it is stretched). I don't get much about SOL, but what I'd see is that the market is very excited about SOL, mainly due to its faster structure and low transaction costs, being one of ETH's main competitors. In addition to several functionalities, it is increasingly consolidating itself as a versatile network.

From your topic ther should be no comparison with Ethereum because it is very far from higher than the others in the cryptocurrency world except Bitcoin. And from the content of yours Dogecoin will supersede any other altcoins in the list. And the coins you mentioned above from the topic to the body I still bet Ethereum to the the top 1 among all the altcoins both the you didn't mention as well.

So far, the two coin has had an impressive run since these bull run started. In term of tech development, Ethereum has just concluded its Dencun upgrade which was supposed to reduce the fees from layer two interactions with the ethereum chain and when that was implemented 2 days ago but immediately the chain stop producing blocks but after that everything came back to normal.
Solana issues remain the same, there is always blackout of the chain for unknown reason disclose to the public, and the worst is this do take some hours before the network start producing blocks. This is mainet we are taking about that keep behaving like it's testnet but I'm surprised how it is seen the next thing after ethereum. I just think that retailers will go to where venture capitals put there money in because it's easy to make some bucks from there.
Meme coins on the other hand doesn't care about things I said. As long as people believe they can become a millionaire with less than a $100 worth of coins they buy, they will buy and wouldn't care about the chain as long as they are making money, if Ethereum charge a fee of $50 to execute a trade on Uniswap for a meme coin and they get the intuition that it will make them rich, they will buy regardless of the chain.
Solana has already set an example of success in crypto bull. A journey from $18 to $180 in six months. That's x10. And its not a small coin. It has rose to 4th number by market cap dethroning Ripple. BTC and ETH both have increased x2 and it's hard to expect much from coins with such large marketcap.
Another coin having a good price movement is Toncoin, they have increased from $1 to $4 is still capable of getting to a higher price like $10.

Now this time solana is moving very fast among altcoins. Even though the market took a bit of a correction today, Solana continues to pump surprisingly well. However, Solana has a strong chance of breaking its past highs. Ethereum, meanwhile, was hovering near its all-time highs. With the current market ETH or SOL which other coin will grow more in the future, in this case I have no way to compare the two coins to one or the other. Because the coin is currently performing well in both markets. I think if we bet on two coins, we might win the bet.
ETH ecosystem has become so big that i can not imagine what will happen if it loses ground to another layer 1. The whole altcoin market will collapse, and the sol ecosystem will be affected as well. I don't think another layer 1 will replace the ETH network because this is not the first time another blockchain is trying to do that. Also, the top meme projects will hold their position, and i think after this cycle meme projects will also be important to the industry and GameFi and DeFi will be the winners with the highest users.

Cryptocurrency scene in whole is too ashamed to admit in public if that next protagonist turns out to be meme token. Even though nothing would be funnier and surreal. Because try explaining to your friends why is that happening and why crypto is the future. . But for now sure looks like a fight between ETH and SOL now and tokens on them. ETH is a winner imho, but i have a strong feeling that SOL will have more notable moonshots with some tokens in it so it will get attention, lots of speculative investors media and shillers. There will be chains like AVAX and ADA that will be most likely profitable for some developers to build on ad they get backing from their community, but i don't see them being getting attention that any decent projects get on SOL or ETH.
What ever the winner is, it will bring a lot of projects with it, as total marketcap of combined altcoin marketcap probably beats even wildest expecations.
For Doge to succeed in attracting attention,Musk must come back and tweet about it again, and we have to assume that he will have the same effect in 2021, which is something unexpected, so Doge may not have good heights for this cycle and therefore all memecoins. SOL has already risen, and if you want to buy it, it is better to wait until there is a decline.

Although, Ethereum is one of the most recognized digital currencies with highest number of protocols created on its chain and $56 Billion locked on its network, however, its persistent high transaction fee remains a note-able concern. Despite Duncan upgrade which was successfully completed few days ago, no significant reduction in fees has been noticed. Therefore, Solana remains my favorite choice due to unparalleled transaction speed and lower costs.
I think that as far as altcoins are concerned in this bull run that it has to be Ethereum and Solana, at the top, although anything can happen because it's bull season and we can see an offset from any undervalued projects. If Ethereum ETF is approved within this bull run, then I see it bulling above the others, other than that, it's high gas fees could be the edge that Solana, will have over it, and Solana, transactions speed and network growth can make it to also have a challenge at the top of altcoins.

Many say Solana is good but I think Dencun ETH's upgrade will still make ETH the number one altcoin in the world. Both are equally good and currently the Solana network is growing rapidly with many new projects and airdrops there.
I think PEPE and DOGE will be the most popular meme coins. SHIB and FLOKI also have potential but SHIB is still not showing signs of bullishness.
Now I think the era of AI is over. Most AI coins have already hit their ATH and now they have entered the saturation phase. Invest with your own responsibility.
Solana is a much better investment then Etherum imo! With that said Etherum is not a bad investment but Solana is better to use in every way, lower fee's for both send and swap with meme coins in the network while ETH have very high fee's for both services. Of course I got a bunch of ETH in my wallet but I got Solana for a higher value.
