My trade is taking hundreds of blocks to go through.

The Ethereum network has still congestion problems as far as I know. You maybe should have set higher gwei to make the transaction go through. I suggest to always orientate oneself on https://ethgasstation.info/ and to set the Gwei higher than the safelow, then the transactions should be processed normally.

Besides transaction times, it is not showing the buy/sell orders or price chart unless you refresh like 50 times.

Very annoying in this days.

wasting my GAS and wasting my time....
what happend in Ethereum network?
You should not trade eth tokens at this time. when your overloud network only consumes gass and it is detrimental.
I hear this situation is caused by the game, I do not know I just wait back to normal.

I guess now we can start using EtherDelta as usually again. The Ethereum network congestion seems to be over for now. Check ETH Gasstation, the current gas (gwei) is 10, or safelow 11. Its still more than it was before, but at least its not 50 gwei anymore, so now we can use EtherDelta again and afford the transaction fees. Happy trading everybody!

For me, nothing has changed, my transactions are very slow, this with Gwei of 40, took days, I know that varies from currency to currency, but I believe that this problem is not solved. as the friend mentions.
It makes me stress, to make a deposit in ED takes 5 hours. this sounds crazy to me. Nothing exciting there, I just want to get away from etherdelta.
but all the coins seem to be there in the beginning of the sale. very strange. Sad

Is etherdelta extra slow today or is it just my luck. I have tried several time this morning to access it without success. I am regularly trading there and quite like it actually but they need to scale for bigger bandwidth.

Dont worry mate, you are not alone! There are many people encountering the same problems as you do these days. EtherDelta is lagging and not working as it used to be, might still have something to do with the ETH network congestion. I for my part stay away from trading there until things have settled and its back to working normally.

Yes, quite slow here too!
Even if you increase the gas amount in EtherDelta transactions still stay pending.

I think ETH GAS STATION do not take EtherDelta transactions in consideration. Do not know what is the mechanism here... Transactions stay pending for a few hours, then disappear and new ones start! Don't know how this works in the back.

Apart from ETH slowing down transactions I think EtherDelta is also with some problems because graphs and order book also takes a lot of time to load.

Yes I think you are right with that assumption. Seems like EtherDelta is somehow working in another way than the rest of the ETH network. Or its just as you said that the Ethgasstation doesnt take the ED transactions into account. Would be interesting to know how this is interconnected. Im not very tech savvy but at least to read some statement from EtherDelta about the performance issues would be nice.

Well, it is completely unusable now. Submitted orders never appear in the order list.

I stopped using it too for now. I will wait for the dust to settle before I send any tokens around in EtherDelta. Seems that we are forced to use centralized exchanges again for the time being.

For some tokens, it is the only exchange out there.

But it is very buggy right now. Transactions take forever to get through.

If you wait until certain coins come out exchanges with a normal daily volume, you can not wait, and on the delta you can always merge unnecessary coins almost always ... even though it lags, but there are still no other options at the moment

It is not just about waiting.

I'm an airdrop addict and for most of the airdrop tokens, etherdelta is the only exchange you will ever get.

Do you make any money with those airdrops? So far I made nothing from the ones I joined. I recently read a thread where a guy claimed that he made around $500 every month only from his airdrops. I Cant believe that.
Actually I just hold the airdrops that are promising, maybe one of them will turn out as a gem one day.

I had like 5 eth in 3 months. It was better before (just after ebtc).

Now it is not like it used to be. Still some tokens gets some value like 0.10 eth.

Well, five ETH is really some good reward just for filling out some forms. Unfortunately all airdrops I participated in so far turned out to be useless and worthless. Projects were most of the time abandonned right after the airdrop, if it even happened.

Good on you, enjoy your free money!

The exchange has so many bugs. I was trading yesterday on etherdelta and chose a "buy" trade from the list of trades and the transaction was broadcast on etherscan too. Suddenly I noticed the transaction was being double spent and another transaction with a higher fee got confirmed before mine for the same "buy" order and they even charged me fee for that. Now when another user has already bid on that "buy" order, why did they accept my trade too?

ED still sucks, impossible to make ETH transaction towards ED , it has misconfigured their site to have own benefit
i have successfully sent ETH to other ETH address when it was 18K pending transactions and now but not to ED

The interesting part is yesterday eth network was fine and working with even 5 gwei. But my 35 gwei transfer took 2 hours to get through.

Before etherdelta needed lower gas comparing to other transfers. Now it asks for more.

you cant compare usual eth network gwei with ED gwei
as usually you set gas limit to 21000  but ED has by default 250000 gas limit
i bet u can understand my point

As far as I know the gas limit is not that important, the Gwei parameter is responsible for the costs of the transaction. In EtherDelta usually we could use Gwei of about 3-5 and the transactions went through easy and fast enough, but now its different, you need to set higher gwei to make the transactions go through.

I am not talking about gas limit also I always make my gas limit set to 250.000

I am about gwei. less was enough for etherdelta compare to other transactions now it requires more or you will wait forever for a transaction.
