I am not sure that ethereum can reach $2000 in february. But I think it is a big possibility that it will reach that value in the first half of the 2018.

i think it is possible if the current trend continue then it is possible ethereum reach $2k by february meanwhile there is always chart correction which means Ethereum might fall a little before picking up again. i think the ethereum will reach a milestone this year. i can see alot of comment concerning btc high transaction fees which is making some living in doubt about the future of the coin. probably this year is year of altcoin

Why not actually if you see the price growth from the New year eve time, it started bumping in the chart so we are finding the decent stable bump continously in the chart now. There are many people investing on this time as like earlier. Including the ethereum, there are many altcoins shows the decent bump in the market. I see this is the trading time. 2k$ within February seems a little too optimistic, it usually is not a fast & furious run for ETH. For sure it can be 3k$-4k$ for end of 2018.

Ripple bullish run took me by surprise. I never thought ripple will be $2 last year but see how he displaced etherum from number two so etherum also can spring up that surprises and hit 2k feb 2018.
I dont think so. 2000$ means it has to double its value in one month wich looks pretty hard because it is not a new coin and the price is already very high. Of course it is possible to happen because the same thing happen with bitcoin last year when the price increased over 1000% in a few months. But in order for this to happen an important event should happen that will boost the price to 2000$.
From my opinion I dont think that is going to happen because it is just the beginning of the year and there is a lot of time for cryptocurrencies to grow. It is not the period of the year when the prices go up a lot and there arent any major events announced this month. Ehtereum price will probably go up to 1300-1500$.

No, I seriously don't think ETH wil touch 2k mark this February. The kind of growth you are seeing right now is present for all major coins right now. Just a bull run. But for bigger targets you need some bigger news. If some scaling optimization is released this February, then yes, it can easily touch 2k mark.
It's really too bad I did not buy into ETH when the time was ripe, but no trouble - there are so many otehrs which are still gaining momentum for 2018: Trezacoin, Golem, Deep Onion. The list goes on...
