Ethereum was just on a commercial break from the number two position for Ripple to have a feel of how the second position feel and taste like 
. But looking at the market cap and volume of both Ethereum and Ripple, Both have a quite similar number, the difference is not that much. Ripple shows significant qualities of becoming one of the stable cryptocurrencies.

Yes Ethereum has been proven again, even though at that time Ethereum dropped rank in the market and was replaced with XRP but now ethereum can return to second place in the marketcap, of course this shows that ethereum has great potential and is good for investment.
