It's been a long time coming and with the phenomenal growth in the last few days, you can expect it to maintain that high for a very long time, bitcoin watch out... Lol.
Ethereum does work so well and this is a positive thing going forward, eth is starting to have a lot of support and trust starting to grow again so this is the beginning of growth this year.
It might, if ETH will continue to show strength and the community support will hold and allow this rise up to continue, a very big growth can happenwith the value before or after the expected updates, it's nice to see that the market is growing and ETH still fighting to keep the position next to btc,
if you have spare money, investing will be beneficial just hold and wait.

Having the second top cryptocurrency again is one good indications of whats ethereum capacity to recover,though the competition to become next to bitcoin is close with 12$ billion dollar each i think some changes will happen overnight or maybe a weekWatchlist

Ethereum will go on the 100-150 dollar band. Therefore, we will see a continuous shift with XRP. For me, ETH is always number 2 player. After FORK, I think it's going to secure his position in 2nd place.
Well the fork seems to be not happening soon because of the adjustment dates however ethereum came to take the position again and hope to stay this way,and may continue to grow further 
It is not possible that the ethereum will go back in number two in coin marketcap because of the popularity to the investors and the community around the world, ethereum has a strong platform and blockchain technology compare to XRP.

Asides price fluctuations, ethereum has been the number one cryptocurency in terms of use cases and the ability to provide a gateway to SMEs to design a suitable dapp enshrined in smart contracts speaks volumes
Now, while the market is dead, the struggle between ethereum and ripple will constantly go for 2nd place, but when growth will begin, someone will take the second place for a long time, and say who it will be impossible because both companies are developing very rapidly.
That's the great news we have been expecting to hear for long, I just pray that the increment in price continue.
This is the place where Ethereum belongs to, because I do not like Ripple and thing that this coin should not be listed on the crypto market. I with EOS or NEO will replace XRP during the next several years.
I hoped and waited for Ethereum to return to its rightful place again, but it's hard to say for how long. because the news about hard forks are unlikely to have a good effect on the price!

Good news. The difference between ETH and XRP is still very small, can ETH leave XRP further? I think this competition is interesting, and hopefully, hardfork is a driver for further ETH increases.
