It is not surprising if Ethereum returns to number 2 because between Ethereum and XRP compete in second place.
But I am sure if this condition will not last long because XRP will again take the position of Ethereum and only a matter of time.

As people say, Ethereum will return to take position 2 again, for fans of Ethereum this is good news and maybe productive again on the market. It took a long time to fight the Bear Market, I hope this is the beginning of recovery. I am an Ethereum coin fan because of the quality of their erc-20 tokens, about the price that I hope will continue to increase.
ETH is a very good coin. In this red market ETH price was going down and stay on number three on coinmarketcap. Now ETH recover his two number position. Its a very good news for crypto lover and also crypto market. Its start of green market.
Hopefully the start of green market will help people realize the true meaning of holding asset. Previously, that was too regretful for everybody who prefers to hold and yet all price fall down as per expectations failed. However, we can't blame some folks had anxieties on their asset which they choosed to dump it even though it hasn't increased at profitable price due to fud and fake news coming. The signs of eth ranking at number 2 provided hope to all hodlers, in order to purse their asset towards gaining journey for future market rise.
Finally we can see a change in the market conditions. I hope this would be a long term trend and not just another short bullish push to trick investors and to make them buy more and more crypto before another dump.
This change wasn't really ideal if you are longing for a long term trend. This kind of trend usually happens and it's not a new thing in the market, XRP and Ethereum has been fighting for the 2nd highest market cap in the crypto market. I don't see some significance that this trend can change the whole market conditions, these two still stays the same with other altcoins by depending on the movements and speculations about bitcoin's price. copper member

ETH is one of the strongest, however, to keep this place will be very difficult, given that XRP (Ripple) enlists the support of very large investors / funds (CME Ventures, Google Ventures, Digital Ventures, Seagate and many others). I think this fight for the second place will last for a long time.
yes, this is good news. I see the current ETH volume is high enough to reach 3,375,298,297.20 hopefully with this large volume ETH is able to maintain its best position.
Now we are seeing that ethereum is fighting again and now it's back to the 2 position so it means the market was going better and we wait for the upcoming rising we are now seeing the impovement of market on ethereum hoping that this good news was continues and having the bull run again and everyone was waiting on the next rising of the market.
It is good to see the ethereum back to the rank of 2nd. And our next goal for this is to pump the ethereum in the rank of 1 and we can see the ethereum increasing the value again. Let's maintain the rank of the ethereum in rank 2 and stop dropping the value of ethereum to not go the rank 3 again.
Ethereum will remain number 2 at forever, even though the altcoin competition is getting tougher. I think there arenot any other altcoins that have the potential to defeat ethereum.

That's nice, a good move for ethereum, It was expected. As at yesterday, I saw that ethereum was still at number 3 and I knew it will just be for a short while. I hope this should stay this time. I think ripple is a strong coin because its the biggest rival of ethereum though we don't know the capitalization of both, any slight change ripple always takes eth position but that's always going to be just temporary.
Of course it is positive news for all ETH fans.. but just a bit ahead of XRP.

Ethereum is back as the number 2. But just for a very little margin. The market cap of cryptos is still very small and didn't really improve.

Ethereum returned to the second position but I still believe that this coin will not be in this position for a long time
have spoken ill of ethereum several times because have been disappointed with the team management of the economics. ethereum should not be in a state contesting for the 2nd position but have not enjoyed a stable or stronger volatility state. Expect for the approaching halving, nothing might actually keep the coin in that position.
Whatever obstacles do not stand in the way of Ethereum, he still holds his position. I think if we wait, we will see a good growth rate and market capitalization. Something tells me that Ripple is again engaged in market adjustment.

I'm a believer of Ethereum and one day we will have another bull run =). Ethereum have more usability and having the largest crypto community. The number two position will be a battle for XRP and Eth until the update for Ethereum implemented then Ethereum will again unchallenged at number 2 spot.
