He thought it would go unnoticed because we would be full and occupied with family on Christmas Day!

I don't care if he prefers to sell his shares as long as he will still be a part of Ethereum and can still contribute to the growth of Ethereum, that's his share and besides, he already sais why he is selling his coin, maybe his new project can be offered to the Ethereum community.

Secretly but exposed, personally I don't see anything wrong with it, just that people and media will always escalate things out of proportion and at such spread fear among the Crypto communities

I can see alot of people saying no big deal about it, but the issue is that if the team is selling out their tokens, why do you expect the investors and community to hold to a project. $11 million for a game project, that is very good. I just hope the game project work or it is just an excuse so that people won't question the motive

But come to think of it, what does it matter if he sell or not afterall it's his and he is free to do as he wants with it and the price of Eth has already come down even before he sold

I think there is nothing wrong with that, everyone also needs funds. If he sells it doesn't mean they left him, because Eth still has Eth stock in his possession
There is nothing wrong with that actually, but it is still has an impact in the market. Everyone needs funds but the way he converted his funds might alarm other holders and it may become the reason for the price to dump more. But anyways, this is also a good chance to buy, and there is nothing to worry about this kind of situation.

everyone noticed it and there was no secret from the eth co-founder if he sell his eth in this Christmas. no problem at all, eth prices have remained unaffected and have remained at the same prices since last month. so I think news like that will only lead to a FUD.

Well ethereum is one project that will keep sailing, no matter what is being done, I think this is time to risk some fiat on ethereum. Moreover the guy needed to sell for fiat, what is the big deal since the development of ethereum, that's a pretty long time.

Is the news really real that he sold his Ethereum? Hope not because it will lose confidence for those Eth lover especially now that the market is not that good compare to those past years. But, if ever it is true, hope that he will do something for his supporters to gain confidence again.

Eth co-founder already stated his reason why he sell some of his ETH on Christmas day, its because he wants to fund his new project. In the long run, it doesnt affect ethereum at all even Vitalik already sold some of his ethereum at the peak. Its ok, they work hard for it. They deserve to sell some for personal funds.
yes, if that's the reason then it doesn't matter to those who sell their personal ETH to celebrate Christmas, I don't think only co-founders secretly sold their ETH at that time & maybe there are still many other investors selling their personal ETH to Christmas Day. but the current ETH price drop is a golden opportunity for new investors who want to buy it when prices are still low.

He himself has nurtured technology and can now nip off the fruit a little. 11 million is not so much. Does anyone have at least rough information about what he is going to pour this money into?

I don't think so. He has only been moving his ETH for the past few days, and the price of ETH has started to decline since 2 months ago. So I think it has nothing to do with each other, the decline in ETH price was due to Bitcoin's decline and it caused the entire altcoin to fall with it. And with the amount of ETH like this I don't think it will affect the price much, just a small amount compared to the whales.
yes, this is just a market problem that has not been supportive of upward movement. if indeed it had an impact, of course, ethereum prices would be far worse than current market prices. I did not expect that to happen. because if there are people who move their money and get out of ethereum in great value it will affect the price of ethereum in the market.

Just because someone sold his ethereum doesn't make him a bad person, and just because he did it on christmas doesn't mean he did it to go unnoticed, maybe it was all family got together and they thought it is better for him to be out of crypto for a while and put his money in a savings account for traditional income so that one day his children go to any college they want and get as best life offers them as they could. If anyone gave me 11 million dollars worth of ethereum I would be selling that right away without a second thought.

I have a dream of owning a cinema saloon one day and that would be WAY more than enough, not everyone wants to be in crypto for life, some of us are here because we want to take this until we don't need it anymore and as soon as we don't need it we will quit.

Even Vitalik dumped millions of coins before.

If you find this normal, take a look at this:

This is the difference between bitcoin and every other shitcoin.

People who hodl bitcoin are ready to go down with the ship. Every other shitcoin will dump to zero because they don't actually "believe in the tech."

Exit scamming is nothing new, ask Charlie Lee................
i think he just really wants to be a game developer, he even made a medium post about his game, but it was posted at january though. I feel ethereum is too big to fall apart.

Nothing is unnoticed in crypto, soon or later it will be revealed. I don't see any negative issue in this, anyone can sell their assets, it's decentralized, the holders control the price! I don't think only 11M USF can affect on Ethereum price like this, maybe the reason behind of ETH price dump is the Plus token scam!

If it's like this, I think we can only hope for the best of Jeff's decisions, whether for personal or for the development of ETH in order to be able to position again in the market, whatever Jeff takes is a brave decision. Yes, although it's a bit surprising, but if it's based on all the team's considerations, I think there will be something good later.

I'm really curious on what he might be developing. I don't feel it'll affect eth rather it's a good thing that a hoarder is less in the future to dump when eth reaches higher price. It's not eth's all time high or even near.

That is the power of blockchain, you can't hide transactions.
And about the transaction, I do not understand why team members dumping Ethereum at this low price, I thought that they do everything to see ETH back at ATH price.
He said on twitter that he needs funding for his game, sounds alot but if he's making multiple games it will sound reasonable assuming he's also hiring people to help him develop his game, there's nothing wrong with following your passion and he probably don't want to work with ethereum anymore.
