Many people are interested in the pos system in the ethereum. as the second largest crypto in this time and that will be so profitable to join into the pos. but 1000 ethereum is too much. Say that about the hundreds ethereum could be better in my opinion.

Its 1000 ETH for joining POS. As you know whit this price (currently 352 $ ) is too much but i think there will be some pools and you can join them with maybe less than 100 eth . For now can't say anything . must wait and than see how it works. There are many people out there , they may have even 200k eth who bougth them long time ago. Im sure it will make eth 0.1 BTC even more.

I'm waiting for 0,1 BTC price in 2018; but this testnet implementation can push it harder and make it earlier, we'll see what happens...

Nobody will issue free ETH, please don't undetstand ETH POS system wrongly. It will stop the rulers of the miners that's all I think. But what is the mininmum ETH amount to join POS system?

If they print 10 billion ETH and they can then no it will not go up if they dont' then maybe it will go up maybe it will go down it depends on how many people whant to buy it who don't know thye can print unlimited ETH

maybe the price will reach $650 to $800 because, before Ethereum switches to POS many people will buy ETH for POS or to take advantage of the moment

I'm patiently waiting for PoS stage. Ethereum price then will be $1500 at least. It's time to stop miners, they should immediately switch to PoS. Miners cannot rule the business. Let the holders decide!

Ethereum switching to PoS would definitely make it lose much of its interest for me, but sure for many people it will be an occasion to buy as much as thy can. However I do not except a little testnet to change that in any way, final implementation would be needed.

Price of ethereum is rising every day and if the shift to POS goes without problems than price will increase for sure.
However, if you read the article, it just in a start up phase, so it will take time before this idea/change will be implemented fully!

It is too much for a minimum if 1,000 ETH requirement turns out to be true. I hope they would reconsider if they won't, there will be less users that would stake on them when compared to waves and it might become ETH's downfall. Still, it wont change the fact that ETH is a good coin to use for smart contracts. I hope they will lower stake requirement to at least 50 ETH, I think more people would find this just right for minimum.

Sorry, but your is a pretty naive comment.
I have followed (and studied) the parity bugs. The "parity bugs" were bugs in smart contracts (not in Ethereum) which is a very complex and powerful feature. And this happened in Ethereum just because it's the first, widely adopted smart contract platform. Be prepared to see other issues in every smart contract platform in the future. And be sure that Ethereum -as the first and more adopted- will be the most solid one.
So basically Ethereum is something so much different from Bitcoin that the comparison has no sense.

Ethereum price is already rising towards its all time high price of $400+, after testnet price can be over that point. I think atleast $1k per coin is possible for ethereum by end of next year or even earlier than that.

Yes Ethereum will rise again. Due to technical analysis reasons alone, huge ascending triangle, traders will play this coin although it's long term success is still a very big question mark.
Bitcoin will become much more private with mimble wimble and confidential transaction. MAST, Schnoor and more usage of SegWit adresses will improve transaction through put per Block. Lightning Network is making huge progress, even together with cross chain atomic swaps!!! Meanwhile plasma for Ethereum is still even more a buzzword than reality.
Smart contracts will be brought to Bitcoin via sidechains pretty soon as well.
CME starting BTC futures in second week of december. MAN Group will pretty much jump in shortly after that. A Bitcoin ETF is just a question of time. Square app is integrating Bitcoin. Jack Dorsey himself just bought himself $20 of BTC with square and tweeted about it. Novogratz and other big boys just bought lots of Bitcoin during the last dip. And the institutionals just start to get in.
Keep dreaming of Ethereum outperforming Bitcoin, especially in the long run, short term is of no significance!

I think once staking comes out price will boost significantly. I just hope it's easy for people to stake like neo is. Does anyone have any information on if it's possible to have a wallet that stakes like neo or will it have to be done another way?

Whatever it will take to add more value to ethereum is currently welcome as we are having a stagnated price for quite sometime now. Ethereum among the most prominent crypto currencies has not been favor with most bullish trends like other and I think it is not good for us the traders. If this new developments is achieved we may see ethereum above  $1000.

If ether goes to pos I am sure we will see all time high in a week. I can guess $450 easily. I think pos will drive people to pass into demand, but I guess its still too early, it wont come until mid 2018 in my opinion. Article mentions "testnet".

When it goes to POS, it should be between 600-700 dollars at least. My target price is $ 1000.

Ethereum is going good.I hope Ethereum goes to discover the moon.It is future's coin,and it is better than Bitcoin.Processing times are much shorter.Is not it enough?
