As someone holding a ton of eth that would be great for this bullrun to continue into the update release date, really hoping we can break the 400$ barrier again and move upwards

From what i read you can stake any amount you want and get a certain % on it. I have seen mixed articles on Amount Staked VS Return VS Staked Timeframe. You just risk the "loss of sale option" if, for instance, a fork is hackable or a MTGOX situation.
As for price Im expecting a slight drop right after the update then a slow climb over the month. You will be losing miners but people will flock to a "dividend" type setup. But that is just the way that i see things. Just remember that this will be a first of its kind intro. I would love a 401K setup with an ether backbone knowing that i need to lock up funds for a period and still come out with the list price + interest at the end.

ETH prices seems rising back towards its old highs around $400. This news
should help drive it up to new highs and it could start outperforming bitcoin again.
The casper update seems to be very important thing for everyone. You can stake your ethereum, there will be no more inflation and another good thing about the maximum supply will have determined by its improvement.

If the shift of ethereum into POS is successful there is no doubt that its price will increase

1000 eth coins to join the stake is a huge amount of money.

Many people will create a stake pool for eth, however be careful because there might be alot of scammer there

Do you have any idea how much ethereum needed to lease like we do in waves? Is it really 250 ETH? Any source is greatly appreciated.

For POS, 1.000 ETH is really high amount, I'm surprised, it's almost $350,000 with the current price.

I have seen this news in coindesk ;
https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-soon-launch-first-casper-testnet/

  What do you think after launching Casper , what will be price of ETH ?

  As you know eth will be POS coin not anymore POW coin. For POS you need at least 1000 ETH. I think there will be some pools and if you have 250 eth or less ( not sure how much must have ) you can still POS ETH .

1 million Transactions  per second will be able .

Here is two nice article you can find more info ;
