When compared with the blockchain technology then we can say that the etherium is the best, from the side of the security and speed. The biggest problem is not many developers who invest to make new wallet so it looks inferior to bitcoin.
Definitely ethereum coin is a good altcoin because of its potentials. It is one of the well acknowledged altcoins that is being used by many crypto enthusiast and also most of the ICO use this coin as a mode of transaction. Ethereum is closely related to bitcoin and it sings as the bitcoin is singing. It will rise like the bitcoin taking leap towards moon. Big mines are being build for mining Ethereum also and thats why it is getting more popularity now a days.
I used to get profit whenever I sell it and I'm very satisfied with it. ETH is a good alt to invest, being top 2 on the marketcap is something that everyone invest to ETH.
Today there are quite a lot of positive forecasts regarding the etherium. Perhaps in the near future it will become the leader among the crypto currency, because it is possible to increase the capitalization of the etherium and this will exceed the amount of Bitcoin's capitalization.

I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

thats the key, i will only trust in bitcoin, i mean that every trade i made, i made it to get more bitcoins, in the end, is just to get more bitcoins, so to reply you about the main question, is to yes, go into eth if there is a good Price , not like now atm that i'm writing this, since i really think is overvalued now.

Ethereum has the potential for growth but it is still an altcoin and better not to invest more than you can afford to lose. I like Ethereum as altcoin and new technology that brings new features at first. Ethereum has gone up so much I do not think it is a great idea to invest in large quantities.

Ethereum is one of the best coins to date. However, if the development team does not implement the POS algorithm and does not solve the scalability problem, Ethereum competitors can put it on the back burner.
Ethereum is a good alt. It is second to btc in coinmarketcap. It has also proven as a stable alt for a long time. The developer are also trustworthy and smart. It has a big future for a smart contract tech. It is safer to invest to eth than other alts.
