Both of these groups should be ignored and possibly attacked with the tar and feathers.  There are normal things that occur when a change is coming in a coin and the only information that bears being said is that the signals are that the coin is going to survive the first phase of the changes and that is what it is.  Good for those that care about ETH and neutral for the rest.

ETH is changing, and nowhere near overtaking anything, because of its upcoming changes and those that are shifting for purchase.  This is how the trading world works and it has been obvious.  Those that are posting that there is anything other than that happening are either those that want to make an extra buck off the change or those that know no better.

The marketcap is moving closer to Bitcoin's, the price is going up like never before. Lets give ETH some time, I can see that is about to bury Bitcoin.
So far, Ethereum has not got many challenges either in terms of security or potential fraud committed by their users. Therefore, they need to prove that they can be a system that is not only useful, but also safe to use. The development of Ethereum very rapidly so it is possible if later will be able to compete with Bitcoin. But to be able to achieve that they have to prove by making a product that solves the problems of many people. Still too hasty to think Ethereum can beat Bitcoin. Fluctuations will still continue and tides will be experienced both. I'm sure both will grow well without mutually defeating each other.

It doesn't really make sense Ethereum cannot be a bitcoin and its purpose is very different as a coin.

people knows Bitcoin firstly, they used so much.
behaviours dont change easly. because of that ETC doesnt take over Bitcoin
Yeah, people know about it as an potential currency as well an investment. Bitcoin is growing good and benefiting high, so just because of the time being ETH grown in a short to a higher level we cannot say that bitcoin will be overcome by ethereum.

Still, many years to go but now Bitcoin is always no 1. Ethereum wants to secure its position but anyhow managed to reach more than 400$. Slowly ETH is moving upwards but to beat Bitcoin it will take a lot of time.

Some sure made some profit on Etherum, I wish I had low buying orders for when the fast crash happened : http://uk.businessinsider.com/ethereum-price-flash-crash-2017-6?r=US&IR=T

If you have a large amount of cryptocurrency, whatever than means for you and very little other assets, it only makes sense to cash out for what you are in for and play "with the house money". Actually, it probably makes sense to cash out to break-even when you did x3 or more and keep the profits runnings, if you have enough cryto left to still benefit of the upcoming upward swings  Wink

I think ETH will still be number 2.  Bitcoin is the first currency that has been introduced to people its the most used crypto currency coins in the world which holds the the number 1 position for  years now. in my opinion ETH cannot defeat BTC. Even the gap of price of bitcoin is far from ETH.

I am not sure it will ever happen. They both consolidated their positions in the market and enjoy heavy demand among traders and investors. I can well believe that some day the market will be represented by BTC and ETH only as they are the most popular ones.

Saying that it really will happen, maybe it will and maybe it will not but for me it will not because for me ETH is a good and at the same time a hyped coin by big companies to compete for Bitcoin so that there is a financial market that will people can invest of and another variety of choice in terms of digital currency, and by that, trading will occur and this two will prosper in the long run but no way that ETH will take over BTC because the developers of BTC is always aware of the next move of ETH developers and by that they will not hesitate to improve ahead with their competitor.

Ethereum will going to a process that it could be time and marketing strategies is applying for this but the thing is it will work or not? Who knows that it would be go far as bitcoin but we know that this is the best coin rather than bitcoin. Soon it will be but bitcoin has lot of network we buy using bitcoin we trade using bitcoin so how would you replace bitcoin?

Ethereum is one of my favorite coins and i believe is one of the best coins for this era. Many ICOs are crated using the Ethereum network.
Another good coin for this era is Waves because many ICOs and token using their network.

ETH and Waves were used in popular ico now, it also have lots of potential to increase in the future even there is pump and dump happening. Their value will surely increase while holding.
Is that true? If it is true, then I will buy ETH and waves with a lot, After that, I will save until next year.

I don't think so. Bitcoin will never be overcomed by any altcoins since it is the main currency in crypto currency which has the larget volum per trade which is like usd where in all currency is against in it.

ethereum has growing stronger in this year, bur I dont think eth can take over bitcoin, although bitcoin dominance is decreasing, but there are still so many places that accept bitcoin, while eth only can be used in certain sites, so it is not that easy to take over bitcoin
