You can not use the price to compare between the two, you will use their marketcap, I am not saying Bitcoin is not stronger, Bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency. If you think you can use the price, you will not get the actual value you are looking for because ethereum and Bitcoin do not have the same prices if even they have the same marketcap, but the buying power is indicated in the marketcap not their price.
Bitcoin and ETH are clearly very different, both in terms of price until the launch year is also very different. Bitcoin was born in 2009 while ETH was 2015. But when you look at their market stats, the comparison is rather small - Bitcoin's market cap is $147.3b while ETHEREUM market cap is 84.2b.

The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?

you can't compare it with the price, because the price depends on the total supply, so even though the market cap of Ethereum is the same as Bitcoin today, but the price of Ethereum still can't reach more than $30k, because the total supply of Ethereum and Binance is almost 650% different (total supply of Bitcoin is smaller than Ethereum), therefore you can't compare coin A and coin B based on price, but you have to look at some factors as well, such as volume, market cap and total supply, although I'm also sure if Ethereum will never be able to beat Bitcoin until whenever.

Don't look at the price of the coin, even Yield finance was once more expensive than bitcoin and that doesn't mean it's more valuable than bitcoin. No one questions the potency of bitcoin as a store of value. Ethereum is a great coin with a great ideology, but due to its low TPS, other projects like DOT, ADA, SOL, Near e.t.c are forced to contend with ethereum but not Bitcoin. I have some good tokens on ERC20 and I can't sell on Uniswap due Eth gas fee.

It looks like bitcoin will still be the king above the peak of cryptocurrencies, but to compare BTC and ETH certainly not comparable, both in terms of price and volume, the function and purpose of the two are also different, for now bitcoin is a reference for the ups and downs of the crypto market, so I think The next 5-10 years also no one can match bitcoin

You shouldn't make such comparisons. both have different uses, different total supplies...and if the price of ETH exceeds BTC, then ETHcannot compares BTC. BTC was the pioneer and paved the way for the cryptocurrency market it is today. The crypto market is as strong as it is today thanks to bitcoin. without bitcoin we would not see any altcoins.

Why people keep comparing these two great coin? In terms of price? I don't think so, these two coins have their own uses the Ethereum can make smart contracts and dApps and of course DeFi while Bitcoin can be used as an alternative payment in terms and the first cryptocurrency ever created. In terms of use the Ethereum has more use rather than just a mode of payment.
I don't even know about that, it's not necessary to always compare prices, it's not all just because of the price, we know that it's different and Bitcoin has come a long way when it comes to its price.  What is important is that they both have their role and purpose here in the world of crypto.  They each have something that they are superior to each other.  But as far as I know, DeFi is only used by the Smart Chain network.

Notwithstanding with the grounds of comparison, the two have distinct and essential functions which should be valued equally. I think that comparing and competing these two are not necessary because they both serve their respective enthusiasts and deliver what it is that is expected out of them in the market.

There's really no need to compare since both is playing their role in the market on their top performances ever since. Bitcoin has always been on top and Ethereum never managed to get very near to its value yet their achievements together showed how they can both dominate the market at same time. There will still be a lot of things that will happen in the future but ome thing is for sure, both coins will be able to survive and has a high probability of getting recognized or legalized in many countries in the world. Investing on both can also be beneficial so stop comparing, just keep on cherishing how good these coins are.

The value of bitcoin and ethreum is very different but the two coins are already very popular among the public so that both have their own appeal, of all ethreum altcoins are coins that are currently the parent of other altcoins so many investors are always eyeing the coin, and for now ethreum volume continues to increase so that for this year it will definitely reach a new ATH, Do not hesitate with both coins because they have a very good future.

Ethereum can not beat bitcoin as bitcoin is still the leader among the other coins. Ethereum moves behind bitcoin and it is difficult for ethereum to increase the price like bitcoin price and did so we can not compare how bitcoin and ethereum works ,But I agree that bitcoin and ethereum can give us the opportunity to make money.
They are both different. Sure they can all be used for transactions, but they are different, they have different goals that they were developed to achieve. If you search up Ethereum, it’s being said that it is created for smart contracts, so it’s quite different. That aside, I don’t think there is any cryptocurrency that can beat Bitcoin right now, and not just now, even years to come I still can’t imagine that happening.

Being the first cryptocurrency gave BTC so many advantages over other cryptocurrencies in the market. But it’s not all about which is number one or not, it’s all about what you want, whichever cryptocurrency gives you that, then you should go for it.

It is true that Bitcoin is stronger, and many people use bitcoin for payment, etc. But this two is not for the competition. Just because Ethereum is far below bitcoin doesn't mean Ethereum can't beat bitcoin. I've heard about this ETH 2.0 and i think if the project itself success, it will gain more user and even more popular than before.

I think Ethereum is very undervalued. This situation may change within a year or two. If the implementation of Ethereum 2.0 goes smoothly, then ETH will become even more popular. I think that the usability of Ethereum will slowly start to be more attractive to investors and in some time the price difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum will start to decrease. I don't know how long it will take, but if Ethereum continues to grow at the same pace as it does now, then in about 3 years there is a chance that BTC and ETH will be equal in prices.

Maybe Ethereum is not that powerful to be able to beat Bitcoin and capture its throne. But we never know whether this situation will change in the future. Because there is no guarantee for Bitcoin to stay at the top forever. At some point, I think that Bitcoin will start losing its popularity among the other new projects. And then, we will most probably see a brand new cryptocurrency taking Bitcoin's place in the market.

So, we should never say never.

I think it is not impossible if Ethereum can beat Bitcoin someday, who knows mate? I know that Bitcoin is like the mother of all crypto coins and Bitcoin has the highest market caps so far. But this cannot guarantee Bitcoin to stay at the number 1 coin in coinmarketcap. Although the possibility of Ethereum beating Bitcoin is very small, it is not impossible, right? Everything in crypto space can be changed and no one knows the future of those crypto coins.

You can't compare bitcoin and ethereum. They are two different networks with different use case. Just because Ethereum is not on the top doesn't mean its not better than bitcoin. The market capitalization means nothing when it comes to determine which coin is better. Bitcoin has a supply which is capped at only 21 million where as Ethereum has unlimited supply. If Ethereum also had a supply cap, probably the value would have been more than it is now. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum is great. It's up to you where you want to invest. Ethereum does have more space to increase in price.

It's a shame if anyone says that ethereum is a competitor to bitcoin. because bitcoin is a perfect coin, everything is controlled by bitcoin like price, volume, marketcap and also popularity. all aspects are owned by bitcoin. so in my opinion no one can compete with bitcoin at any time because bitcoin is the king of all coins.

Let's start with the fact that ethereum is still an altcoin, and it really is the father of all altcoins in terms of capitalization and price, and you should not underestimate this coin, remember how it all started with bitcoin, it also had a price tag that was not large enough, but soon it took off , with ethereum, I think the same thing might happen ...

Total supply is one of the reason why the price per coin is low compared to bitcoin and as the title says ethereum is not the competitor of bitcoin but now there are lot of coins emerged to become the actual ethereum killer.

Ethereum is not a rival to bitcoin, yes bitcoin is independent and unique in the nature of this industry.  Ethereum ranks with thousands of other altcoins.  Bitcoin represents decentralization that without any action could threaten its very existence.  While Ethereum (Altcoin) will be in the range of possible symptoms.

The comparison between both coins is not in terms of coin price differentiation, rather it is about which has the larger marketcap, bitcoins marketcap is bigger than every coins  marketcap in the market thats why its at the top, if another coin will be able to gain more marketcap than bitcoin then they will be at the top, but that doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen, even Ethereum has not been able to flip bitcoin.
That is exactly its all about, maybe if they have the same purpose and total market cap, definitely there is a reason to compare which one is better but knowing they are of a different market role this makes no sense.

Actually, I don't find any competition between these two leading coins and obviously, we can see also that Ethereum is still following on what happens to Bitcoin. If it pumps, the same trend we are able to see on ETH and to the rest of altcoins. This literality will tell us that Bitcoin has to prove different from the rest and have no reason why we have to compare it from the others.
