Well if finally happened.
It really annoys me seeing litecoin so high. The coin has not been developed or had any innovations the last years.

Maybe because many people still hangs on to the notion that LTC is silver to BTC's gold.

Because China.

If I remember right, but not 100% sure, ETH still has a massive premine that is still being held dormant. I do think that this fact is already priced into ETH's value but IMO this skews the "market cap" similar to the way paycoin xpy was.

In these cases I think it is a better comparison to calculate the market cap off of only the free range coins that are out in the wild.

For example say I made a coin with a 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 coin premine and then gave away 2 of these coins. 1 of these coins makes its way onto yobit and is bought at .01 BTC. Wallah, my coin has the highest marketcap but it is meaningless..

Anyway yes I am sorry I missed the train on this one but I still am not going to be buying in to hold. I also think people have a misconception about ETH.

From what I know ETH s to be used as a token to operate the ethereum network, and is not designed and intended to be used as a currency. Polo requires 500 confirmations on ETH for god sakes.

I wish all you ETH investors good luck but I don't believe it will maintain these high prices for long and definitely do not believe it is a challenger to BTC in any way. It is a very interesting concept and is a great advancement in cryptocurrency technology but I believe for this technology to be fully successful it will have to be done on the BTC blockchain itself and that if this tech turns out to be very useful and in demand that it will happen as BTC matures.

ETH is a very good speculation vehicle for the time being though. I should be daytrading it on Polo but cryptsy has me a bit disgusted with the whole scene now and I can't bring myself to stare at the numbers.. Maybe I will go back to it sometime.

At least somebody here has a clue.

Where do people even buy ethereum shit coin?

It literally isn't available on any of the exchanges that matter. It's not Chinese exchanges (which basically means any other exchange it is on is automatically worthless/meaningless), not on BTC-e, not on Coinbase.

What other crap exchanges are there that people use? Probably available on Craptsy or Kraken, equally shit exchanges. Lol.

Did you know right now the DEV for the shitcoin you are talking about, is right now offering a solution to the BTC community?

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/428tjl/softforking_the_block_time_to_2_min_my_primarily/

BTW... why would you start a thread, and lock it so nobody can reply? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ethereum-scam-ponzi-scheme-stay-away-from-it-1338399

Only likes Chinese exchanges, believes in censorship... nothing to see here, huh little Emperor?

PM you for Investment Opportunities? Here's one for you little Emperor... LTC is no longer a hedge.

Do you even reading comprehension bro? See the post above yours.

He did read it and called those exchanges garbage. I would not use any of those exchanges either...

I would recommend using Shapeshift.io to get some.

Where does everyone buy ethereum? Thanks in advance  Smiley

You can get it on nearly all exchanges. Of course try to use some of the more established exchanges, like Kraken, Poloniex or Bittrex.

Just PM Spoetnik, he is selling them under the table. For every 1000 Ether you buy, you get a free mug with Joseph Goebbels and his family on it!

Poloniex is also a good place, but no mug.

eth is going up because of all the "bitcoins is dead" and classic and blalala.

i hope the price will be stable after btc has recovered.

You don't think ETH is up on it's own merit?

every altcoin is connected with BTC.
and eth will always be in the shadow of btc as long as btc does not tumble.
but i think btc will fall soon when the block size stays at 1mb. then time is ready for eth.

Do your own research when speculating in altcoins as you could lose a lot of money if you're not careful.  That said, research is only part of it.  You should also need to learn how to trade and be able to know when to get in a coin and when to go out.  In short, you should have a trading strategy that fits your personality.  That only comes with practice and experience.
