January 2020 is almost here I believe ethereum will achieve this height given the time it has taken for the preparations on their ends. Its going to be the highest PoS coin. Is there any article on the staking process and rewards system?

They will drop rewards for miners and you will be able to get rewards for holding ETH. I believe you need to have 32 ETH and will get a tiny amount yearly for doing so. Is not worth it in my opinion, but would definitely increase the price.

No doubt staking is the future and ETH is one of the very few projects that planned to switch to POS, i really can't say what the impact will be on price and value and 32eth for staking is very high as well, we shall see how things play out, hopefully in flying colors

32 Ethereum is a high price for us who don't have 32 Ethereum's, but early adopters bought much more Ethereums for much lower
prices.
I think that future Ethereum concept is great. I don't have 32 Ethereums, but I work for that and I invest in Ethereum from time to
time. I hope I will have that amount one day!

Does anyone knows about upcoming ethereum staking concept?

"Due to these events, it was decided that Ethereum will switch to a PoS blockchain in January 2020. Let’s see how this will work and why ETH might become one of the best staking coins in the market."

What do you think this will affect the Ethereum price on 2020. I am curious about the staking pool mention in this article

Its a good good news about ethereum holders.

I am wishing that this Ethereum program of staking concepts 2020 will really be in favor for the Eth holders. Because POS in my view is really profitable if you have at least 32 ETH, but if you don't have that amount of ETH, well you cannot avail this POS for sure. It is part of their requirements for the POS concepts anyway.

Turning into PoS which requires staking 32 ETH which is fairly expensive for some of the people although it won't go anywhere and instead of growing is a good deal I must say. Less carbon footprint and doesn't need to invest in GPU which to be honest if we're trying to reach profit will definitely need a few high-end GPUs so there's no excuse for the media to say that we're doing PoW for nothing. The specs also relatively low and the internet connection will not be a problem if the people who want to stake have home internet cables. Some people are okay even if the reward relatively small and some are not, there are people who have money but don't know what to do and as easy as staking is, it will be a good option for that kind of person. This also attract my interest.

Where did you get this number from?

Dear Honorable mr. Sr. Member.
if you did duckling (duckling is browsing using duckduckgo search engine.. i don't like google), you will find many websites that answering your question.

But, i make it easy for you.
So, minimum requirements to stake are :
Quote
- A minimum of 32 ETH per validator
- Computer with sufficient hardware specs
- Internet connection

all I know is that you will need 32 ETH in order to receive the reward for staking. but also if you think logically, then most likely you will receive a very small reward if you have only 32 ETH. I am sure that many large players have already bought a very large amount of ethereum and all rewards will be distributed between them.

Really? That does seem to be a rather large amount even at today's prices. If ETH really wants to decentralize more and more than 32 ETH right now is almost $5000,,, which is way out of the league for most of the world. I could not own that much, for example, and I earn better than many of my friends.

ETA for ethereum POS is not yet determined and by the way, the price of ethereum will increase a lot as per more ethereum will be locked in the network. As far as i know, if you are wanna participating in the staking and there will be a locked period for those are staking their coin will unable to take their coins for more than 120 days. That means more coins will be locked and there will be a huge chance for ethereum to drive its price to the moon in the future. Ethereum staking concept already scheduled to be launched next year but there is no ETA when it will be happening for sure.

Even if it needs 32 eth become validator, the exciting part is the staking pool where small investor and hodler can participate. I'm really want to be part of this.
Blockchain is indeed reliable from the first. See the progress and to the condition of Ethereum is very good indeed for Ethereum to be switched to the blockchain.
For the price problem do not be asked anymore, with this transition Ethereum will experience a crash at the beginning of the year 2020.
Even at this Christmas I believe the Ethereum development chart will show a happy smile.

Ethereum is a very slumped price does not want to move anywhere. From transferring their project to PoS hopefully can make the market price get a bit up as it should.
Ethereum is still a good altcoin replacement BTC But the price is often dropped makes us lazy will help their project by buying or hold it up to several months.

Yeah of course we all know, it's been the talk of the entire 2019, if not even from 2018 with the newssites running news almost every week at some stage. For me, I have a small amount of ETH I will probably stake it if it ever comes to that but I think POS coins are going to be extremely slow growth because of the way they tend to attract whales for collecting and staking. I think it's good news for sure, but price effects could be adverse.

Indeed it's always affected the entire system, along with the demand that's really need to have in order to obtain a profitable value on our asset. Staking eth is a good strategy, but for now we should consider some serious reasons why we still experienced market downfalls.

Vitalik decided to switch to POS due to their competitors scalability. But I think the reason it was taking too long is because its very hard to make this transition and ethereum had very large data in it. So transition from POW to POS is really hard though they are working hard, lets see if they can do it.

I think ethereum will not switch fully Proof of stake (PoS) they just add PoS to increase their supporters and investors.

If I may ask, what is the reward to 32ETH staking in a year? why will someone stake 32 eth for whole year and get rewarded for just 3-5 eth assuming am correct! also if trade with the 32 eth the whole year, one might likely to double the value.

If you look at the chain, there are evidence that people are are preparing for the coming shift from POW to POS. The way I see this is that the price is going to pumped initially as many of these POS tokens do then start dumping, we have seeing EOS and NEO exhibit this pattern and I believe this is what we are likely going to see

i didn't know that there was a precise date for switching to pos (i can't wait no more), i believe that the whole team and even Vitalik himself is working hard at this swap i think they need to rewrite a good part of the blockchain

I am sure if in 2020 the price of Ethereum will rise again. especially now that the movement has begun to increase. Hopefully what we want can be realized.

I think that price of ether will decrease just because of 2 main reasons

1. People will tend to move to bitcoin considering the upcoming bitcoin halving
2. As Ethereum will move to PoS, it might result in bugs in the beginning hence making the network unstable leading to an increase ether's fees and decrease in ether's price

I hope this new concept can further increase the number of enthusiasts in the etherum. because with this concept of staking will make people more confident to invest because we can stake for each etherum value that we buy, and we get a few percent of it. in my opinion this is quite interesting.
