Can someone tell me where in Ether explorer you can find the total amount of "coins" or Ethers. Is it not there? ...or have I lost it...Where is a source of the total number of coins used by Coinmarketcap etc.??

https://www.etherchain.org/
There is no total it is uncapped. Fixed supply of 13 mil per year, forever.

    You forgot a few things
  • 60 mil premine
  • 12 mil hidden premine so total so far 72 mil and mining has started
  • 13 mil a year fixed endless supply (No hard cap)
  • No GUI walled
  • Open source software, so there will be better copies on market
  • Copy number  7328 of satoshis bockchain tech
  • untested unfinished product with rollback tread
  • insider trading
  • only a fraction of "available" coins available to trade
  • .....

I always wonder what the motivation is behind these sorts of threads. You've had a year since the ETH presale to complain and you choose to do it after launch? What did you expect to occur? Please enlighten us instead of pointing out the obvious and sounding like an upset troll that missed a boat.

And by the way, if you want to sell your pre-sale ethereum, don't transfer them!

You can add your pre-sale wallet directly to kraken here: http://www.kraken.com/ether

If you transfer your coins you have to wait about 25 hours to be completed!

This is what they don't want you to know!

I would rather question if you are bad at cash or if you are too much of a nit to play higher games with ethereum and the rake is too high at the low stakes to even make it sustainable.

It's been more than 24 hours since IPO and you still have to wait hours and hours for your funds to be available if you transact.

So if you want to sell better add the wallet directly to kraken.

Really it's shameful that not a single word was spread officially about the IPO or about how you can sell your coins.

Also if you have a problem and need support, good luck with that.

Satoshi was just one guy and would reply as soon as possible to any support request.

Satoshi was paid by No one to revolutionize the world! Yet these ethereum guys get I don't know how much millions and don't even communicate properly with whoever uses ethereum.

Ethereum reminds me of Mastercoin, now called Omni, go check it out, they made an IPO similar to Ethereum were they raised millions, promising to revolutionize the world... go check it out where they are now.

I don't have any ETH... Just watching and trying to figure out if this has potential or not. But if you're right and the deposits on the exchanges still have a delay, the price most likely will continue to fall.

by the way... ethereum sold $15 million in the crowdsale... and currently has 60 million coins. coins were 25 cents a piece or .0009btc (at todays prices) ~.0005  adjusted to during the crowdsale. the products good its just that if you didnt buy during the crowdsale you might not want to get in yet. and the transactions started slowly. and have a 24 hour warning. and the client is very hard to use. so people couldnt dump on day 1.

anyways its called price discovery good job to anyone who got 10x on their investment and plan to buy low.  ill be looking for under .001 if it gets there ill get some, if not well then ill buy some if i want to use it then.

Is there still a delay in processing transactions? Thought that would be just because of the rollback-warning and between this time:

Ethereum deposits are delayed 24 hrs from 2015-08-07 03:50 UTC per dev request. The developers may rollback the chain up to 24 hours in case of an issue. As a result, the developers asked all exchanges to wait 5760 confirms (24 hours) to credit ETH deposits in case the chain is rolled back.

Ethereum started trading 2 days ago and the price is already collapsing 80%!

Are you thinking about buying Ethereum? - Don't, Stay out!

Do you have ethereum from the pre-sale? - Dump them as soon as you can!

During the past 2 days around 1 Million ethereum coins were dumped, this made the price collapse by 80% so far, now consider this:

- The IPO was not publicly and officially announced - They did this on purpose so their inner group or closests friends could dump first. (There is no info about exchanges on their website)

- On the pre-sale back in 2014, 60 Million coins were sold, or in other words, 60 million coins were PRE-MINED, and they are pretty much the total supply of today - you can check more details about the pre-sale here: http://ether.fund

- In the past 2 days only around 1% of the pre-sale coins were sold

Now you have to ask yourselves:

If a coin which was 100% PRE-MINED, gets a silent IPO which it was not even officially announced, only 1% of the pre-sale buyers know about it (or not even), only 1% of the supply gets dumped, and the price collapses by 80%?

Now what will happen when the IPO is officially announced with the rest of the 60 Million coins ready to be dumped???

Also, an interesting video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IN-QpuXIJtM

Exchange: http://kraken.com - pair ETH/XBT (ETH/BTC)
