I guess before you ask this things you must have a basis. It should have a valid reason why it will become 400$ but if there's no basis this is a very hard things to happen. So, instead of getting decrease of ethereum value it will increase more in the future. So stay hold on to it, its just a FUD I think.
If at some point in time such a price is reached (which I very much doubt), then those who are ready to buy huge volumes at such a price will immediately go to the market. So the price will recover very quickly. I am sure that the economically justified price of the ETH is closer to 1000 dollars.
I see Ethereum going down to 100$ and BTc coming down to 5000$, and when BTC reaches 5000$ the whole market will crash like a bubble. this is actually going to happen, seeing the current sentiment i find it obvious in Q2.
It is only natural that Ethereum has fallen in price. Because Bitcoin has decreased quite a lot, certainly Ethereum as the coin that most parallel to Bitcoin will experience a decline that much too. But do not worry because this year Ethereum will rise in price by leaps and bounds.
If the price of BTC has been falling, the price of eth is likely to go back to $400, but it should not be possible in the short term.
First is, can you provide the link or the source of that rumor? Second is it is pretty hard to tell that if the value of ethereum will dump and it will come to the point of reaching it to 400 USD. Ethereum's value of pretty solid for a lot of time and it is really hard to say it's value will fluctuates to that point.

It seems to me that this will not happen. Although anything can happen in the crypto currency market. I do not entirely rule out such an opportunity. We can only watch and wait.

Yes you are right. I'm still quite confident ETH price will be back to its highest peak. This year is a very challenging year for crypt market which started more dump than pump. We may experience loss this days but we need to face it and continue believing in crypt capabilities.

You can't just look at the past and predict the future, you need to look at current and future events. You are going to see a shift up or down anyway . But where?
Well it is more likely to see ethereum valued at 400 again if the situation in cryptocurrencies doesn't improve and the government pressure on bitcoin and alts still persist and also, the news are also a major factor to the price of cryptocurrencies although it is a good time to buy ethereum today just to hold in future if the price improves again together with bitcoin and for now if ypu want to sell you ether just to compensate the losses then sold it we can't see the price will going up sooner.
The price of Ethereum will fall for some time, perhaps up to $ 350. But then in April, it will begin its ascent.
I think there is nothing definite in cryptoworld, the price is going down drastically and I think we can take advantage of every opportunity available to invest.
