It is very unlikely for any altcoin to replace bitcoin. Though etherium is one of the stable altcoins available, still it can't be compared to the exponential growth of BTC. Actually i like how stable BTC and etherium is right now, then again it will be very hard for etherium to overtake BTC.

Ethereum is a very strong, favorable and promising currency, it's value and price is vigorously
increasing. Not as fast as Bitcoin but somehow ETH's price is at a stable surging pace and it is
rank 2nd only to BTC in terms of price in the modern market. But I think it won't overtake Bitcoin.
The ongoing rate of bitcoin, with it's price deflation and resurgence validates and substantiates
it's prominence and superiority in the cryptocurrency domain.

Is hard to say that the ETH will take over BTC. Ofc every year in this period goes down but after that will go up very high. In my opinion it can't take over BTC.
It is very difficult to predict at this time. Ethereum has a steady rise while bitcoin is very volatile. It surpassed its all time high record this year though the prediction should be at 2018. All of the coins being trade uses bitcoin as medium/partner for exchange while eth has some but not all. Eth will have its peak moment but I think it would not have as high as bitcoin's.

You will must agree with me the bitcoin is the father of crypto, eth not near from bitcoin still. Eth still not near from bitcoin cash so how you think eth can take over BTC? It's not possible in my opinion, although we can't predict future.
how many years the bitok went to the present price and how many years in general to ETH if to compare, then ETH many times proves to be better, than a bitok in the same interval of time, agrees that the price is still small, but the fact that growth will be, it without any doubts, and I am completely confident in it!

And your conclusion is based on what? Eth won't overtake bitcoin, if something can overtake bitcoin that is bitcoin forked coin which means nothing can overtake bitcoin

For now, I don't think so. Bitcoin has a strong position in the market. In the future, other cryptocurrencies will become stronger, but ethereum not take over the BTC next year.
I think for 2018 its impossible, because everything is depend to bitcoin price also Ethereum is depend to btc price, its very hard to pass btc in this position.
Bitcoin is the original, and all the others are imitators. Bitcoin is adaptable and can evolve to meet any crisis. My bet would be on Bitcoin remaining the top, with Ether a distant second place. It could change, of course, but that might not happen in our lifetimes.

It's too expensive to pay by bitcoin with these huge commissions per transaction. So people will use it as an accumulation instrument.

This wont happen in the near future,maybe in 2018 it will go pump on its price but an overtake with BTC requires a lot of community that the BTC posses.
Ethereum is a solid platform but i don't think it will be overtaking BTC any time soon.
I think not because the ethereum is the ticket for the ICO for them to trade some other new altcoin and I think that the bitcoin will be the number one crypto currency due to its price and achievement
Frankly I think that Bitcoin cash could surpass the original bitcoin due to 8 Mb block size (lower fees and higher transaction speed). Moreover I believe that in 2018 ADA could become the top-1 crypto.
