Yeah that's still a speculation even there was a clue from the dev about it may come next months but yeah we didn't know about that for sure. Ethereum has experienced delay when this coin was implementing some EIP last year. I will not take it as a big bet but im sure that it may came late of this year. The merged chain is not yet happening and there must be an update for this to merge the blockchain between eth 1 and eth 2. that clue make people will not try to go all in to bet into when ethereum POS will be coming for sure.
At least the dev was giving a clue rather than he's not saying anything about that.

Hopefully, it will.
That's what everyone is waiting for and despite the estimation of when it will be deployed, still, it's unsure and they're not giving promises anymore because of what has happened before.
Well, let's just see if by q3 of this year they'll really be at the end phase of PoW and it's now about to be PoS soon. One thing for sure then that the price of ETH will be impacted if it happens.
Good thing that they dont really give out any assurance or guarantees on specific date for them to go to PoS but at least we do have already some hit that it would happen for this year even thought it wont still be 100% sure but at least we are already heading there.

We are all waiting for such changes and updates which would really make things even more better for ETH.Price impact? It would really be just common sense.
Its not bad to baghold right now.

With a project this large, there will probably be more setbacks. One bug in the system could crash the whole cryptomarket like nothing we ever witnessed in one day. Not to mention that the mountain of that code ethereum is.

I am not sure that this will happen in the third quarter of this year, the developers will find some kind of mistake and will continue to refine it for a long time, in the best ways.I also understand all the pain of Ethereum miners, because this is the most profitable coin today.

Ethereum may switch to PoS as early as Q3 this year. The source of this assertion is a post by an Ethereum developer on Twitter:

It won't be June, but likely in the few months after. No firm date yet, but we're definitely in the final chapter of PoW on Ethereum

I wonder if this prediction will turn out to be correct or if there will be new difficulties and PoS will be postponed again. This time, though, the developers are determined, Tim Beiko even recommends not investing in new ETH mining equipment anytime soon. Will PoS be launched this year after all?
