I don't think that Ethereum will be the next Bitcoin. Although it seems like the most logical option after bitcoin but most people are forgetting the fact that the problems bitcoin is facing, Ethereum is facing many of the same problems so if in the future bitcoin collapses Ethereum will also collapse such the case Ethereum will not be the next bitcoin.

Yes, you are right bitcoin has highest market cap and second no is ETH has highest market cap. So Ethereum is good coin for long time investment.
Ethereum is still far from bitcoin. But I think, that ETH is more perspective than BTC and it prise will raise more, than price of BTC. It has a lot of good advantages, which may help it to be a leader this year.
Hello everyone, I think that for the time being it is impossible to say for sure, but for pre-links it can be said that Ethereum demonstrates itself as a leader, however Bitcoin remains today the first!

I think it can happen because Ethereum has smart contracts and there's alot of ICO under this coin and Ethereum is mineable it will depends on the community on how many people they will demand the price but ofcourse we should respect bitcoin. Without bitcoin we don't know Ethereum.
There is no reason not to be. Due to low transaction costs and high speeds, too many people started using it. Smart contracts also attracted more and more people.
I doubt that Eth will beat bitcoin, as bitcoin has gone so far and the trust that companies and people has put to cannot estimate by how much cost transaction has Eth over bitcoin, and btc is so stable enough and has already created its brand name that when you have speak or ask people when they know cryptocurrency then bitcoin will come first to their mind.

I think Ethereum is good cryptocurrency. He will make us rich in the future. Altcoins can give us a profit of 100-1000 fold. But we need several years to wait and be patient because the price of cryptocurrency will always increase and decrease over time.

In my opinion, nothing is going to be the next bitcoin. Bitcoin will be top of the cryptocurrencies in future too and Ethereum comes after Bitcoin.
Perhaps the future or maybe a few years ahead of ethereum will go beyond bitcoin. But for now ethereum is still unstable and may go up over time and we just wait how ethereum competes with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is 38% of the crypto market. Eth is 18% and xrp is 8.7%. I'm saying Bitcoin gets a bad rap because of how tested it is but is impressive in sheer numbers.
Until any coin experiences 20% of what bitcoin has experienced we can then even compare them. a cryptocurrency above all is about security, thats the very first criteria, and bitcoin has proven so far how robust it is. Then comes scalability, and scalability comes with usage, and no coin has been used as much as bitcoin, so its naive to even compare to any other crypto currently.
Possibly since it is getting quite the audience. Plus it is a very stable Crypto.
Stability is the key factor why ethreum can be the next bitcoin because everyone is looking for some sort of stability after recent bloodbath
I think there is big chance for this happen. The Ethereum has very great potential for development and growth in price. ANd it is more stable then bitcoin.
