i am a ethereum supporters and i have it on my portfolio but i dont think th huge price would be indeed in ethereum speculating just for 1 year.meaning it can overcome bitcoin?impossible better not to expect much but rather do extra effort on other coin to help you gain more profit tha purely ethereum

I think the price of ETH can reach $ 10,000 in 2020 because most people prefer to save bitcoin than ETH, for this year I believe the price of ETH can pass BCH price.

Absolutely there's a possibility that ethereum reach the $10,000 in the future but I guess it takes a lot of time before it happens. I know its hard to believe that but in my sight after this crisis coming in crypto currency community it will recovered and back in to the growing up stage. No doubt with that because for the past year we can see the fast evolution of crypto currency in digital world.

It will breack $10000 by the end of this year if bitcoin does not crash hard. Also there is a news saying that vitalik return to focus building next update with proof of stake. And for me. Proof of stake is more reliable for scaling. It is not using alot of power to mine. At mid 2018 ethereum probably will break $4000 mark and then correction again.

You as a hero member should have seen many drops in price in the past. It is not the first time that all the coins are falling. There is no need for a miracle. Soon everything will go back to normal. Yes, I saw many drops over the years, but then the whole crypto market was smaller than the vanished amount for 2 days now. 300B disappeared like magic and this could lead to something even worst.

Lost 20% yesterday on ETH, seems that today will not be any different. Thats a blow. Still I hope that it will gain to 2000 during 2018. It has lost quite a lot value and I hope that the biggest dip is over with today, it can go lower but not that fast, 20% a day.

I can still remember how ETH struggled past $400, reaching it once and then taking so much effort to reach it again two more times. But once it made its second ATH around $500, it did not stop so easily. $1000 was always going to be the problem area, just look at Bitcoin and remember it took it two years to recover and go past $2000. It may very well take the same effort, if not more, from ETH.

At the same time, you never know. If Bitcoin moves back to 20k and beyond, ETH will definitely catch up to 2k.

Agree that this $10k value needs a lot of time to make it happen. Yes it will happen in the future but seeing the current situation now of cryptos that everything has fallen it's hard to recover easily. However, I'm skeptic that by February all will rise again and the drama is over.

I still don't quite understand why everyone is so bullish on Ethereum. The network can only handle 17TX/s when there are many other networks that can handle 1000+. This is not the BitCoin replacement it was hyped up to be. Another coin will take the #2 spot, possibly NEO, Cardano, IOTA or AChain.

I do also think this is possible, because Ethereum invented a new protocol for all those decentralised ideas. What makes ETH so wideley adopted is the fact that Vitalik Buterin connected all the devs very early with the Devcon event. If you "own" all the developers you can be sure that you will. Ethereum also is the first mover of dApps.
