I don't think it will anytime soon, unless Bitcoin goes up to like $40,000. It took fork after fork and people selling their alts for Bitcoins, for Bitcoin to reach $10,000. Plus insane media coverage.
I think there is a good chance Ethereum will reach $10,000 as you said. Even though the price of Ethereum has already appreciated significantly in 2017, there is still significant upside from current levels.
We all know that in all altcoins only if Ethereum will follow Bitcoin's pattern last year then it's easy for Ethereum to surpass Bitcoin's market capital this year hoping it will be happen before end of this year.Otherwise, maybe next year because we're just starting the comparison between Bitcoin and Ethereum this shows ethereum it's dominance as the leader of Altcoin group but I see so I believe ethereum hit the $10000 it has the potential to lead cryptocurrency.

I think the ethereum has every chance to replace Bitcoin in the future. Smart contracts are written on it, make ICOs and resolve the issue of scaling. In general from all points of view it has more potential as a valuable asset. Of course ethereum will reach 10K in the future. But just now, I will hold main part of my portfolio in bitcoins, etherum and may be in Bitcoin cash.

haha although i really love ETH and believe its development, i dont think that ETH can reach that target soon. It needs 3 years at least to grow.

At the moment, altcoins will fall in price with sharp movements of bitcoin prices almost always. While altkoins are very dependent on bitcoin. As soon as the altkoins can become independent of bitcoin, then we will be able to see how the prices of altcoyins will not change much at the sharp jumps in the price of bitcoin.

yes you are right. Ethereum is a very strong and trustable coin . I am pretty sure it will see between $3000 and $5000 but not sure about $ 10000 honestly . It’s a little too much , especially for this year. Markets are not healthy now. Tho i would be more than happy if it sees 10k , i am a ethereum believer from the day one.
I think over time, it is possible that Ethereum will be around $ 5,000. but I doubt this will happen this year. but the fact, that the price Ethereum will be at least twice as high. ETH is lovely crypto with huge back ups & good perspectives.
I also think the same as you, Ethereum could reach 10k this year, but the market is not always logical so anything is possible. If Ethereum has enough supporters and partners this year then 10k USD is no longer a dream. In addition, Ethereum will go proof of stake, so I expect it to raise the price around 5k if the market is still bullish and Bitcoin is doing well.
Personally I believe ETH will reach 10k USD one day but your analysis is silly.
ETH made 100x last year, so ETH will make 100x again this year, very bad judgement. We might go in long bear market though.
