Just few minutes left to this great battle will go in action but I will be on French bench, I've very good reasons to place my bet on it as their body language is very cool and all players are looking very good form so that France will the Champion.

If France are really starting without Kante they really are underestimating Portugal's counter attacking threat. Portugal aren't dangerous side when it comes to creating chances through longer attacks, against Wales they weren't providing anything until well taken but still sudden corner goal.
Underestimating the opponent would be really a bad move from france, this is the final game so there is really no point in resting some players. I think kante will start as main squad today unless something actually happens and he cant start as starter. Pepe has had slight knee injury however it seems he was confirmed as starters as well

But they have well organized defense and if they can score first they are tough team to beat considering France aren't at their best at dominating game either. Pogba-Matuidi worked fine against Germany but they were in trouble in the first half and Portugal could turn out to be harder for them. It may not make a difference who starts in front of defense but starting with Kante instead of say, Mautidi, would be a safest option. Other than that, France are quite clear favorites

I feel the two crucial aspects of the game aren't in midfield, rather in the defense/attackers duel: Pepe/Fonte vs Griez/Giroud and Umtiti/Kosc vs Ronaldo/Nani. If Ronaldo has a great game, France will definitely be in trouble. Likewise for Griezmann.

IF ronaldo has a great game and you could say the opposite thing for griezman as well. The last match against wales was great, ronaldo was having great game and carry the whole team to win it however if ronaldo is tightly marked by two or more player then portugal will be losing this game no matter what nani does

Griezman is underrated so far I can tell, he is the man behind atletico madrid's success this season and man of the match for almost whole france's match but there isnt any rumours about huge transfer or huge bid coming from him. He is young and talented and deserve to be treated better as a superstar
