my fav is France Germany rather not it is not the same team like on last Mundial
Black horse is England for me
If new young players will get his chance
It being held in France this year you would expect them to hold home field advantage but that doesn't seem to be a factor here for these games.

IMO Germany and France favorites for this year's champion though the last game of the German bad but they are still a strong candidate to compete with France. certainly more favored France because playing at home ground it is an advantage for them

I believe trying on Italy to win the Euro 2016 is not a bad option, the odd is 17 and I have seen lately how strong the Italy defense is. Worth a try if you ask me. Other teams I have seen are not that good in last friendly matches, although they only remain friendly matches.

For everyone saying that Germany is a good team. Guys, haven't you notice that their team lost almost all their recent matches?

Germany suffered a third defeat in four games as they were beaten 3-1 by Slovakia in the final match before their Euro 2016 squad is finalized.

3-1 loss vs Slovakia is not optimistic, is it?

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36409735

It is good that they suffered some defeat before the Euro because they will evaluate their performances and players. So that when the Euro is ready, they will be a better team.
It is better if a team get some loses on friendly matches but do good in the real competition than do great in friendly matches but so bad in real competition.
Germany is still Germany, they will try their best.
You can not blame the weather on a teams performance either. They are both on the same pitch so it is which ever is a better team that's all of what it comes down too really.
I like their consistency as that will never leave them.

Ya it is true that when ever their is loss we cannot blame on other factors , but as i also think that this was a friendly match so germany have not used their resources fully, when the real game starts that time only we can tell perfectly what will the team will perform.

As they also know that if they lose this match that wont effect their main tournaments. I also believe that Germany will be playing final.

The only redeeming factor for the Germans is that Joachim Löw was merely testing players in last match.
In that match vs Slovakia it was secondary German team playing and Slovakia was playing with their top squad.
So I guess German players we could see in last match won't be playing anymore.

I am thinking difference , Germany is not the closest to win this Euro , I don't expect that , I can nominate France to win , it didn't win the Euro from long time , also they have new players like Griezman , experienced coatch , two of the best goalkeepers in Europe ,  big audiences beside them .....

I put all mine money on Germany there team is really strong. Just a friendly friendly match against  Slovakia don't change mine vision about it. Sadly enough the Netherlands isn't even representative on EURO 2016. But I like Football so when possible I will check the most matches of this football event.

I would be happy that Spain won, but this year I believe that Germany had won, even though the last games have solid bad for the Germans, I believe that go to overcome these losses.

Germany won the EURO in 1996 I think it's time to win the competition.
This is the German team I remember watching in my youth and remember saying that they were unstoppable. A well oiled machine  Cool
Maybe they can relive that group effort again in the tournament this year,

defeat on friendly match don't mean will playing bad on euro 2016 and i think the situations will be different because no pressure in friendly matches but indeed this is won't be easy for Germany although they are the world champion and France would be strong opponent for him

it is not a guarantee that Germany would not be a candidate won. it was only a friendly match, so it is still in the testing phase. and they are still looking for the best compositing. so that they can be fixed when the euro at the start

True that the performance of Germany was not very good yesterday, but I think it was partly due to the terrible weather condition (as you can see in the pic of that BBC article). I am still confident that Low will do his job well and the Germany team will play much better in Euro 2016.

the game was more a bath in the second half, but never the less same conditions for both teams. The team play of the defence with the given players of Germany isn't very well atm. There were too much hustle since the world championships, so I'm not sure if Germany will survive the group in this condition. But since there is still some time left maybe Löw manages to tie things up in the next 2 weeks.
My top seeds are Belgium, England, France and Spain

IMHO, I think Germany has the best chance to win Euro 2016, though the bookies are giving France the lowest odds among the teams.

If they don't have a chance to match up in semi finals my favorite final contenders are France and Germany. France is playing great when they are hosting the cup. I think that's why bookies gives the lowest odd for France. I don't know if they win the cup but they'll probably be in finals.

For me, the real battle will be between France and Germany and as you said France only perform well while hosting. Germany is very strong side and is favorite for me. Although i wish Italy should win which is highly unlikely.  Anyways it will be a great one month of non-stop football action. Cant wait more to see teams in actions.
