Manchester City vs Monaco , I prefer both teams scored. although Manchester city more in benefited because playing at home in the first leg of this. but I think monaco least one goal will be scored in the game tonight.
One of the key points today was the way how Costa was positioned. I don't know if this came from Ancelotti or from the player himself. Costa played freely gravitating between the two backlines. That was strategic to break Arsenal's 5-4-1. I'm not analyzing indivually Costa's performance, but, ulahlah!, finally Bayern showed something to break the very predictable system (block the flanks and Bayern is gone, because nothing happens from the center). Bellerin and other Arsenal defenders were ready to put all the pressure over the left wing, but, all of the sudden, where is Costa? He was in the center, in the left, in right wing (to assist and open all the space to Robben score the first goal, etc). I've been talking about this from a long time. That's the way how to break a 5-4-1. Ok, the mechanism obviously is not totally adjusted yet, but it was really something to see Bayern coming up with something new!

Man of the match Toni kroos. he worked his socks off. Even pressing when our forwards are idle. Ronaldo and benzema played well. good to see Ronaldo not trying to shoot from awkward angles. They both need to work more off the ball and try press the opposition defenders more. Toni kroos heat map on the pitch would have the all field on red alert. Suberb player. hopes he repeat this performance in italy.

However I think a good bet is for both teams to score as Man City do leak goals this season. I might play a parlay with both teams to score in this game with Sevilla ML and Porto/Juventus over 2.5 goals.
I agree that the Champions league is the most important to try and win for Man City but I still think they are just below the great teams in the competition. I think they do have a good chance at making at least the semi-final but they need their strikers to be fit and healthy if they have any chance at making it. They should beat Monaco at home but I still think that both teams to score is the safer bet on this match.

Just looked at the odds for the CL and Europa Cup.Spurs are at odds that would be similar to playing a bottom of the PL team.United are clear favorites to win at St Etienne and City are odds on to beat Monaco. I know that most people in England put their money on PL teams,and I only look at odds for information,but if I were a betting man,I would generally bet against the PL teams,for value.
Other peoples loves are Barca and Real,and their odds are overdone.Like Barca were big favorites to win at PSG,and am sure a lot of people will bet on them to overturn a 4-0 deficit.

It's always hell to play in Turkey and Besiktas are at home. I think the most Hapoel Beer Sheva could get from this away match is a draw. I am not saying that they couldn't ever win just that it seems highly unlikely. Anyway the ball is round and could end up in either net

Manchester city defence is not so poor i think and in the terms of productivity goals both of teams are equally good but Manchester City as home team had more advantages however i would not pick one of them and on my predictions they both able to makes goals so my pick for this match probably both teams to score

Cant see anything other than a city win, i know monaco have been decent this season but its a big ask. Pep is probably more suited to winning champions league games vs prem also.

Happy about the team play.Not too hapy about the result.It should have been at leat by 3 or 4 goals difference based to the games. Everything is posible (remember vs Dormund in 2014,or Monaco in 2004). Anyway, from what we saw yesterday Madrid is a level above Napoli, the team just needs to improve the shots/goals ratio (we miss someone like Van Nistelroy) everything else was perfect.
32 minutes up and Man Utd equalized . 1-1 is the current score and I think Man U will manage to win this from now on . Blackburn are showing great resistance but it will be hard for them to win this one . I made a wise choice for going over 2.5 goals for @1.6 odds.
I wouldn't count on Manchester United because the Europa League trophy is not Mourinho's priority. However if he is uncertain about placing high enough to secure a spot for next season's Champions League he might want to push his team to win Europa League and gain an automatic entry. But I think Mourinho would want to place higher in the Premier league for sure.
Oh but it is. Mourinho knows getting in top 4 in the EPL might not happen, so their other chance to get in the CL next year is winning the Europa League. He's a practical guy who wants to leave some outs for the club. And he's the type of guy who hates losing. Man United's squad is also deep. There's no problem for them rotating their players.
I will like to say and I am 100% sure the Europa cup will be of Manchester United, currently that's their only hope and they shall win it at any cost. If one needs more clue look at the team sheet of yesterday and the press conference prior to the match, and post it also he has said he will field a strong team. It's obvious top 4 is a difficult task in the Premier League, and the players are facing a huge paycut and so is the club. As there is a contract with the sponsors that will force Manchester United to take a huge paycut If they are out of Champions League again, so they have no alternative but to win it
Hopefully in the next week's there are no surprises from St. Etiene. And I think Man Utd have a great opportunity to champion and the next year will play in UCL. It seemed like an opportunity to play in UCL if Man Utd as winner in Europe champion League. Because in the BPL looks difficult to compete at the big 4.
