Last night the Europa League was finished and won by Athletico Madrid, will the Champions League also be won by a team from Madrid as well? I think Real Madrid will not win easily because Liverpool are carrying a mission to get back the trophy they once held because all the Liverpool fans have missed this title.
Congrats to Atletico. Spanish teams keeps dominating Europe, except for the EL last year, they've won every European Tournament (EL, CL, and Super Cup) in the last 5 years (though, there's still the RM vs Liverpool final). Impressive.
And it's always been important tournament for tier 2 or tier 3 clubs since they have the chance to not only win an european tournament (which adds prestige to the club) but also qualify directly to the Champions League (if you become the champion, obviously). And there's also the monetary incentive.
The Spanish clubs have been very dominant in the European competitions in the last four years with Manchester United the only other non Spanish team winning the competition through those periods. Maybe the trend will continue with Real Madrid beating Liverpool again. What...? The Europa League final is already over? Nooo! I can't believe I missed it!! ... Not. Lol. 
But seriously, I think it would be better for UEFA to expand the CL by combining the EL with it. I mean, do a lot of fans really care for the EL? Not much from what I've personally seen.

It was typical match for Atletico Madrid. They scored first goal in a mid of first half and then they gave ball posession to Marseille. As usual, Atletico defended very well. After Payet got injured, I didn't believed that Marseille can win this final. In second half Atletico finished everything by scoring 2 goals. And as expected, Fernando Torres got his few minutes to play in his last final in Atletico squad.
I don't understand one thing - why EL matches are always played after CL games. After we watch exciting Champions league on Tuesday and Wednesday, it's difficult to watch boring Europa league on Thursday. Maybe UEFA need to organize EL matches on Tuesdays like warm-up before CL games on Wednesday and Thursday?
But for me Europa league become interesting starting with 1/4 final round only, where there areless weak teams left.

Combine? No. Champions league would become more boring if we would more mediacore teams. Actually, I heard that big clubs and UEFA aren't happy that there too many weak teams in CL group stage and maybe they need to reduce number of teams participating. I suppose I should be happy my last bet on the Europa League won a decent sum... still didn't offset many losses throughout, however. El Nino got his last game and a nice 15kg trophy, so happy they at least let him play the dying minutes. Truly an end to so many of that Spanish generation.
Griezmann also possibly played his last appearance for Athleti in Europe? I hope he stays and builds on the team though, I'm so sure Simeone can take another crack at La Liga, they were far too strong for Europa, really should have made it farther in Champs League but at least we'll see them there next season.

The result is not surprising at all Atletico were my favourites from the time they dropped to Europa. They had the best team out there and the loss of finals was always going to be a major factor for them to win it. I think they had a walk away in the match with hardly any resistance which I'm not surprised at all. I'm happy for Atletico they Deserved to win this match.
i'm not watching this match but recently i was look at the statistics from both of teams during that match and Marseille have more control for possession of ball and probably Atletico playing with parking bus strategy however indeed most of people predict Atletico will win the match and 3-0 from them enough to make them lifted european league trophy

for the prediction of the champions league of the year it is now possible to be won back by real madrid and will make a new history even though liverpool is a tough opponent and is in positf trend but real madrid has experience in the champions league final but it's all just a prediction and all things can happen during the match later.

If I had to bet a team to win today, I'd go with Atletico Madrid. I'm not a fan of the way they play, but for a one game final, I think their style is perfect. Great on defence and with good players for a counter attack.
But, for me, value here is on the goal market. I'm going with Over 2 match goals @1.9

I think that Athletico is favorite tonight, I find them much serious team than Marseille. Spanish League is much more serious competition and Madrid team is second seeded here, which is respectable achievement. But when there`s finale match, practically there is no favorite, anything can happened. This match is playing in France and that could be additional motivation for Marseille. The odds on Athletico Madrid are pretty good, worth to try with straight win tonight. Good luck to all who placed some bets and may the better team win 
Won't be able to watch the whole game tonight so a bit of a bummer but not going to miss on a bet! Athleti were my choice throughout the season and I'm backing them to win. So are the bookies, though, with only a slim 1.3 winnings so I'm hoping for a strong showing without going to penalties.

It's always been like this whenever there are two teams that are not from the elite...for example, last year final was "hyped" because of Manchester United.Anyways, I'm gonna go with BTTS @2.25 and Atletico win @1.95. I think Simeone and Atletico Madrid deserve to win the Europa League after reaching two Champions League finals in the last 4 years.

Interesting game for betting and nice odds, I thought it will be lower.
Marseille will not give up, but they are weaker team. Maybe draw in halftime and Atletico to win in the end, if they don't crash them in first half, and that is possible to happen.
