This weeks Champions League was unbelievable first Real Madrid and then Liverpool. To be honest we'll would have favoured Real Madrid but Ronaldo goal was absolutely brilliant he's killed the tie. Barca and Bayern both were expected to win so nothing surprising except Bayern won by a very small margin. What the Pep? had he not delivered the PL he would face the sack, Liverpool are a beast these season can't wait to see them in semis.

Glad I didn't bet on any games. I was expecting some bus parking. Possibly just 1 goal

I would have definitely lost out.

Not su re if you guys are discussing specific games or predictions however this is what I'm thinking (betting) on for the upcoming quarters:

Juventus - Real
Sevilla - Bayern
Liverpool - City
Barcelona - Roma

What you guys think about that one? I know Liverpool may, or may not, be a wildcard but I have a feeling..

At least I got them all right and hit my Parlay, not the best odds but Liverpool really gave it the boost it needed Cheesy.

How'd the rest of you do? Smiley
honestly i never thought the scores between Liverpool against Manchester City were pretty high even more likely i consider this is difficult match for Liverpool because several times Liverpool defeated by Man City with huge score too at local league and second leg match will be pretty easy for Liverpool although playing for away match but i think Liverpool can through that match

Holy sh*t...  Nice hit!  Cheesy

How much were the odds for that parlay?  I could imagine it being at around 4.00 or more.

And...  I KNEW IT!  If there was a club that could beat Man City, it's Liverpool.  City couldn't handle the pressure from the back and that Liverpool atmosphere could have been a bit too much.  I have rarely seen David Silva play so rushed.

And De Jesus...  No comment.  He was mostly a spectator in the match.

In CSKA Moscow Viktor Vasin and Mario Fernandes will not be able to play with Arsenal due to injuries. Also, Kirill Nababkin, who has been suspended, will not be able to serve in this tough match. Arsenal striker Aubameyang will not play. CSKA defensive weaknesses are a serious team. I expect an easy match for Arsenal, at least 2 different.

Although I predicted that Liverpool had a chance to win the game, but the 3-0 result is really beyond my expectations. This is the umpteenth surprise for me.
What a game for Liverpool, didnt see this coming either. I knew that Manchester City without Aguero will be a little more defensive from their part, but Liverpool managed to get a comfortable lead at the start and that ended up making the game easier from their part. But this isnt over, Sallah got hurt and had to leave at halftime, and Manchester City is a whole other team when they are playing at home. I believe we will see a great game in Manchester.
Given Manchester's incredible run of form, I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to beat Liverpool when they return to city. The start made by Liverpool was really promising and those 31 minutes changed everything for city.
City did look dangerous in the second half but couldn't convert anything. The major reason for that was the over hit passes and lack of shots on target.
To be honest, I didn't expect City to get thrashed this badly. Result definitely surprised me.

Okay what the actual fuck  Grin City(Shitty?) got violated 3-0. Could Liverpool be a real CL title contender? I take back what I have said earlier lol. There is another fixture still so Liverpool are not in the clear yet. Shit I need to get my bets on Liverpool going  Cheesy

I think that City will be able to win the next match but the question is with what margin.. I mean if Liverpool scores once I think City are fucked.

As for them being a contender for the title, I doubt it, sadly. But they do give us some interesting games that's for sure.

Dunno man I still remember last season's games between PSG and Barcelona. PSG pounded them 4-0 in the first leg then Barcelona went on to win 6-1 at home. City could do some real damage at home and eliminate Liverpool even if they do get to score an away goal. One thing's for sure - we will get to see a very interesting match in Manchester  Cheesy

What you are telling is the miracle man messi scored the last winning goal but i think this match will be straight winning for liverpool  as Liverpool team has a good defence and after getting 4 goals lead they will try to play full defense game.

My parlay got screwed due to this match.

Europa league games are up today folks. Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have very low odds so I am not gonna bother with them. Instead I am going to bet on the last 2 matches - BTTS in Lazio vs Salzburg @ 1.78 and BTTS in RB Leipzig vs Marseille @ 1.75. Parlayed @ 3.12

A fantastic game by Liverpool! Klopp used practically the same tactics as in their last game to outplay Guardiola. The "problem" is that he is simply a better coach, no doubt about that.
A fine example of football strategy put in practice is the performance of their wingers - Salah & Mane against Sane & De Bruyne/Silva/Gungongan combination (Guardiola utilizes tactics of constant movement between positions, I would say it is his trademark). While Salah, Mane & Sane are more, or less, the same type of players, Salah & Mane were allowed yesterday to do as please, while Sane & other winger were constantly blocked. That shows a good overall movement & positioning in defence & attack.

The beauty of it is that Liverpool didn't score accidentally and they played three totally different actions - passing on the ground (1st goal), shot from outside of the box (again, not accidental, 2nd goal) & crossing (3rd goal). Marvelous!

Regarding the other game - the result is not surprising. I didn't watch the game, but on the highlights, I saw Roma making grave mistakes in the defense and I also saw two penalties and one foul on the edge of 16 - all not given. I am not sure why. Those weren't "a classic" penalties, but the foul inside the box is a foul after all, and the rules are "the rules". If Icardi's goal can be disallowed by using VAR due to his foot being a couple of centimeters in front in a clean action & execution case, then those penalties should have been awarded as well. 0-2 could've changed the things quite a bit.

That's the final result if Manchester City play at Anfield. 3-0 and it all happened in the first half, manchester city controlled the game but could not score a single goal, sometimes football is not fair. The second leg in Etihad, if liverpool can win big at home, Manchester City can also, Liverpool should not be proud of themselves.

iam not believe if livepool can win 3-0 from manchester city
and liverpool create 3 goal only 31 minute in early first half

I'm also surprised Liverpool can make 3 goals and clean sheet too. Even manchester city don't have shoot on goal on that match against liverpool. Klopp finally has a recipe how to beat manchester city right now, well done Klopp. Actually it's a bit frustating for man city though, Liverpool fans attacked man city bus before the match and i think it makes man city mental down.

In last five matches between these two teams 3 gone in Liverpool favor and 2 ends in draw so no matter of not believe Liverpool is very exciting team they have some good players their Champions League record is also very good so now if they survive in second league match surely they are going to be one of favorites for this years champions

Slava Ukraini!
Wow, amazing Liverpool. Huge win in style. City made 0 shots on target! It looks that Klopp teams are the most difficult opponents for Guardiola. But despite huge Liverpool win, I think that things aren't finnished in this pair and second leg game won't be boring.
Barca won against Roma 4:1. Roma didn't played that bad to concede 4 goals, there was some bad luck when defenders scored own goals. Barca didn't played their best game tonight. Away goal by Dzeko still saves minimal chances for Roma, but I hardly can see them scoring 3 goals against Barca.
I think we can say that Real Madrid and Barca are already in semifinals, Bayern also very close to reach while in City - Liverpool we may see some interesting things.
