That was a surprise Barca not making it through to the semi-final but Roma wanted the win more then them and now have a real shot at making the CL final. Liverpool also upset Man City at home which wasn't really a surprise to me as Liverpool have been in good form while Man City have dropped off in recent weeks. At least I got my bet for both teams to score.

Barcelona getting eliminated after a 4-1 result at home, by freaking Roma...wow! that's gotta be one of the biggest failures for the club in a very long time. Seriously, a team like Barcelona can't blow a 4-1 lead against the 4th team in the Serie A, that's beyond embarrassing, they have Messi, Suarez, Pique, Umtiti, Iniesta, Ter Stegen, etc...c'mon now.

Btw, did you guys know that every time (since Messi official debut) Barcelona has been KO'd from the CL, the argentinian failed to score in both home game and away game? Messi-dependency at its best.

About the other match, and I was told that Manchester City was the best team in Europe this season and that they were the big favorites to win the CL....LOL failed to even reach the top 4. I'm expecting Guardiola to resign at the end of the season, the Cityzens made such a big investment over the last two seasons, brought the "best" manager in the world and every single player that he wanted...just to win the Premier League? no, the main objective was the Champions League, if you fail to even reach the final, you must go.

Also, Coutinho, poor guy is gonna watch his former team win the champions league, isn't he?  Grin

congrats to Roma for making the impossible happens. They outperformed themselves in this game they had a simple plan to apply and they have been successful in applying it they played physically well and invidualy marked Suarez and Messi made the Spanish team have no threat for the Brazilian Goalkeeper Alisson.
I think Barcelona have underestimated the game and they thought that it was over from first leg and they played this game as they have already got to the next stage but they only felt the threat when it was too late that was after Di Rossi scored the second and Valverde took much of the time to make changes to bring back the team on track.

Slava Ukraini!
Awful Barca, amazing Roma. Tonight Barca played like they are already in semifinal. No ball posession, no dangerous attacks. While Roma played amazing with passion tonigh and made history. They showed who deserves to play in semifinal. Barca eliminated in UCL quarterfinal 4th time in last 5 years... Yes, Barca will win La Liga, Copa but this season will be remembered due to shameful defeat in quarterfinal.
And it's interesting how Coutinho are feeling now... :/ Congratulations to Liverpool and Klopp who again won his rivalry with Guardiola.

I guess no one expected things to turn out like this for Barcelona. So we have our semi finalists now.
Real Madrid, AS Roma, Liverpool and Bayern Munich!
After watching watching tonight match we can again say that everything can happen in football and I think it's too early to say that we already have 4 semifinalists.

Ho Lee Shit guys  Grin Barcelona are out! Damn the odds on Roma -2.5 were astronomical haha. If someone picked that big congrats to you  Shocked It's funny that Barcelona got the completely opposite treatment from last season's CL. Just goes to show that karma is a bitch sometimes lol. And another fun fact is that Coutinho moved over to Barceona and now they are out while Liverpool go on to the next round. Hilarious  Grin

We have just witnessed history today!! OMG! Who would have thought that Barcelona would bow out to minnows Roma.
I feel Barcelona deserved this defeat. They played horrible today. Not a single player showed up. They have to accept this defeat. Hardly any shots on goal in the second half and Messi missed a clear sitter in the last minutes of the game.

Elsewhere in Italy it seems FC Barcelona is once again haunted with the Italian flair seeing them lose a 3 goal cushion which should have sent the Catalans through but unfortunately Messi and company have been made to play the Italian way and not the total football they are known for which has cost them.
Whistle goals Roma is through... this is football fantasy at its best what a game it was! History has been made tonight.

Am really feeling bad for Liverpool who are under pressure from Manchester City who are very much in control of this game and should these guys be allowed to get a second goal before the end of the first period the reds will be in trouble and they know it!

My money is on Liverpool to go through.
this is the 80th minute and now Liverpool lead with 2-1 or 5-1 aggregate, Liverpool have 99% advanced to the semi final. Well, Liverpool only play defensive because they only need draw results, so they take advantage of it with an incentive to attack but stronger in defense and it works.

Liverpool was guaranteed to go thru with this terrible performance Manchester City has been having every since last week.
They just can not win a game it seems let alone score 4 goals now that Mo Salah just scored for them to go ahead 4-1 on aggregate. Roll Eyes

I have a feeling that Roma will show us some good football tonight as they played brilliantly at Camp Nou last week but were unlucky and the referee was clearly on the side of Barcelona. I think that Roma will play openly taking big risks as Barcelona doesn't forgive with counter attacks and that we will see a beautiful game tonight. Making ready to watch it on the internet at vipleague website.

Manchester City did not play bad in the first game. Manchester City started the fight well, but when the score was 3-0, the motivation for the team fell. Liverpool has great advantage. Guardiola has worked well for this game. I am expecting a fairly effective Manchester City.

Yesterday I thought I would play Liverpool +1 on this game. However, when I started making the ticket this morning I think it is best to skip betting on this game and just enjoy watching it.

This could go every possible way, depending on who scores first goal and when. If City scores first goal anywhere in first half I am seeing this game as an over goals for sure and probable both to score as well. If Lpool scores first I can see City breaking down (after two bad results) and Lpool just playing waiting game. The game could easily end as 0:1 for Lpool. If there is no goal in the first half it will probably end with low scoring City win.

As I already said the smart thing would be to skip betting on this one but since my gambling addiction doesen't let me do that Smiley I have at least limited my stake to beer money.

Good call Trofo! I did very well last week on Liverpool @3+ and over 2.5 also in the bag, so I can afford a small bet on Liverpool that I honestly won't mind losing if Liverpool still make it through tonight!

If Liverpool score first, then it's a tall order for City, so I'll want them to do that. Klopp will want them to do that, the team want to do that. City scores first and yes, it's going to be a goal fest!

I'm really happy already at this stage, of course I can't imagine the pain if we somehow still lose tonight to give City the semi-final berth, but I think no fan will dump on Klopp of the team just sets out to play the beautiful way they always do.

Can't believe Danilo (or was it Fernandinho?) who says Liverpool is a long-ball team, though.

MY two bets tonight. Beer money, like you:

Liverpool Money Line at a massive 6.4!
Barca -1 handicap @2.1 is also pretty, shame I won't be watching that match!

For tonight I am following your advice guys but I am only playing very little money as I am afraid. If it is a win I will check your advices for tomorrow games too and I will play my mining money on tomorrow games.

Still I remain a casual gambler, don't bet often and will not do in the future because there is the risk of gambling addiction.

for today I'm taking Man City -1.5 , they should play aggressive after the kick off since they need many goals today
football is full of surprises so there is a good chance that Man City may make it today and qualify , they have what they need to do it

also I'm taking Roma or draw in the other match since we saw how unfortunate Roma was last match , I feel the olympico stadium will be tough for Barcelona

Yes obviously, manchester city will play aggresive to make many goals but remember Liverpool has a good counter attack too. I think this match will have many goals for sure, over 3.5 goals seems a good one. 3-0 in the first leg, i don't know is Klopp will make liverpool full defense or not. This match play at Man City home so it will be a big benefit for man city.

I am a casual gambler and I want to place a few mbtc on tonight Champions League games but I am undecided.

I want to bet on Manchester City as they have to recover but I am afraid. I will play all the mbtc I made mining musicoin for almost two weeks, although not a big sum like 4.5mbtc but why lose it?

Should I bet or no? Looking for a few answers here.

Bet on MCT to win the game. They will play at home while already lost 3 - 0. Liverpool will play defensive as I predicted.

There won’t be any surprises in the CL, the semi finalists will be - Real, Barca, Liverpool & Bayern.
yes it is true that these four teams are very common to go to the semi-finals, so it is very easy to guess who will be the champion depending on the progress of play and the strategy of playing. Among the 4 teams I hope Barcelona will win this year and will beat Real Madrid in the semi-finals.  Grin
