And the Europa League.  Meh.  I think the UEFA should just get rid of that competition and expand the CL.  It's not really doing much for the teams except for money making purposes (which is good I guess).

I like your idea to extend the CL somehow, that could be cool. It could work several ways I can think of.

There were already different proposals about it in the past.  But for some reason some people at the top of the UEFA doesn't want to change the status quo.  Prolly politics or something involving money...  As usual.  :p

Just because of this politics and money this beautiful game is going to be ruined they need to think and bring some more changes for UEFA Champions League because its very beautiful game after some changes the can make this more attractive

There's a chance one English club will meet Chelsea in the KO stages since the blues finished second in their group.  Sad

But we'll see, the draw is gonna be on the 11th.  Woohoo!

Not until the quarterfinals, though! UEFA rules mean teams from the same league cannot match each other in the last 16. Chelsea may feel a little inferior that all other English teams have topped their league, but to be fair, football is football and Liverpool still found their group tricky until the very end!

Anyway, reflections on last night's Europa League action. I swear Everton are on a huge roll, that's now three consecutive wins with a clean sheet. I didn't recognise a single goalscorer on the sheet last night though, so I must be either getting old or out of touch with them. Now they are meeting my team for the Merseyside derby, couldn't have come at a better strength. Hope the Reds are up for it, and then on to spoil their FA Cup party soon after.

Really?  That's funny because in all my years of watching football I'm totally unaware of that rule.  I guess learned something new today.  Thanks!

And the Europa League.  Meh.  I think the UEFA should just get rid of that competition and expand the CL.  It's not really doing much for the teams except for money making purposes (which is good I guess).

Anyway, sure win for LFC facing Everton.  I hope I can say the same for City this weekend.  Grin
They should just stick with the current one because expanding the CL will not be a good idea at all, A lower tier competition is very good for the clubs and it makes them money as well as you said. Too many clubs vying for the Champions League will make it too hard .

The results of several matches yesterday at UEL very saddened me because of a lot of losses let alone betting on the match between Rijeka vs AC Milan. I hope AC Milan can get their first win under the care of Gattuso but it turns out they even suffered defeat. However, I was quite healed with the result of the match from Arsenal vs Bate, where I also had predicted and bet on Arsenal's win over 3 goals.

Yesterday I was surprised by the result of the match Shakhtar Donetsk and Manchester city. Didn't think the Ukrainian players will be able to win the match. Napoli left out of the competition in the Champions League.

not suprise, because manchaster city whatever result still first placed and winner and group
so not all out meet shaktar and play in away

Manchester City's defeat did not change the results of those who remain in the Peak group. But that defeat has broken their very long unbeaten record, not just unbeaten, they always win. The record is not too important, but if they lose by Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern or PSG will probably look reasonable.

the future of the German ball is in danger after the failure of Drotmund and Leipzig to get in the  final 16 in Champions League Bayern is the sole survivor and only representative fo German football while five English clubs have successfully joined the top 16 teams in Europe
Making history in this event . Spain have 3 teams representing them  with Barcelona RMadrid and Sevilla, while Roma and Juventus represented two Italian clubs. And for the French league only PSG got to the next round.

Rijeka vs AC Milan => Rijeka win @2.9

Apollon vs Everton => Apollon win @1.89
Today was very shocking as Everton won away from home with very good margin 3 - 0 its really killer match for many those who like ML and for the punters play over/under its not bad at all as its hit over its may be big change for Everton in fortune because now they can turn tables in their favor

Arsenal have guaranteed to be the leader of the group. Although Bate Borisov is in the last place, there is a chance of a next tour. However, Bate Borisov is a formless this year. Arsenal will beat the Bate Borisov very comfortably.

we missed important things from this match that manchester City already qualified and whatever this match result then it will not change anything that Manchester City will be at first positions in the group phase that's why they didn't too serious to facing this match however 29 matches unbeatable Manchester City has been broken with this losses
