Even in local newspaper it got published as these are something catchy and readers always look for something different happening around. There were rumours that this isn't happening, but no official announcement whether this gonna take place or not. Based on the latest news, even the representative from different countries were listed and few have withdrawn due to health reasons. The proposal to add it as a sport have got rejected. However the person who had come forward with the plan have decided to organise starting June 8, already few categories might've got over Cheesy

Well, it's probably not considered humiliating for some regions and their culture and only such regions will promote something like this, a thing that must be kept personal since it is not something to be performed publicly and is going to be used as a sport which the whole world will be able to watch and even bet on, that is truly something a person cannot even imagine normally.

This might create some interest in some parts of the world but on the other side, it will also create problems because of the religious beliefs of people from different religions, like Muslims, they would never want something like this to happen because it is against their religion.

Yes I will bet but I don't see the possibilities of this games being listed anytime soon and I was even shocked when I came across this news because I initially never imagined Sweden will do such but unfortunately I was wrong this time and Sweden already made sex registered and I watched the preview and I couldn't stop laughing because it was just unimaginable.
There is nothing a gambler wouldn't want to bet on and betting on this type of sports might be in dominance on its first registration but I guess along the line it will fade off, so I think more gamblers will net on this games if it gets listed.

When I first heard about this I thought it was a joke and seeing it here as a thread just got me laughing, like seriously, European Sex Championship? Hell no, there's no way this is going to happen, how are gamblers going to stake on this? If this is the only game to bet on since the season has come to an end then is best to give my self a good treat than stake on that silly Championship. I can't believe Sweden that has so many stars in terms of football are going for such a crazy thing called sport, there's no way that this is staying as the case maybe.

as some people said here that it is pornography which is real that it is not worth betting on because it violates immoral norms or even has a huge negative impact out there.

In an article, there is the Sex Federation in Sweden which proposed this sport but the results were rejected because maybe considering it would be controversial if approved, but this has not been officially confirmed by Sweden.

We live on a world on which everything could really be done as long it would be supported and have that financial support or whatsoever connected to it on which it would really be that possibly to happen. Maybe that is the reason why this was published in the first place: whoever made the application about registering sex as a sport in Sweden wants the public to know more about it, and maybe get a pulse on what the public opinion is about it. Idk why but it just feels wrong to see sex as a sport - at least for me. This is what on my mind too on which they might really be trying out to see on whats the overall reaction of people on why they do make out such news to spread out which on the time that they have seen that

people do see it negative then they had made it as a false news or fake one but if they have seen that there's so much support into it then they might really be having that able to launch that sex competition.
