Update

Jan Külkens joins the development team, kicking off the ElectrumX server "cloud edition".

So said, i can announce, the team to be complete and every development task to be rolling.
Right now, we are running the Hardware Prototyping (Olaf), the ElectumX and Cloudchain (Jan) and the Payment Gateway (Florian) at the same time.

Prototype design just left IBM Watson Studios Munich and will complete on Wednesday in Portugal.
It should arrive here in Germany. on Monday. So watch out our

Paymentgateway meeting happened yesterday.
I met personally with Florian and brought this crucial module, for our FINANCE CLOUD API, rolling.

Lets summarize this week:

Hardeware FINANCE CLOUD API SERVER Device for your home network
has been ready designed by our new member Olaf at IBM Watson Studio in Munich.
Prototype production starts Wednesday in Portugal.
First device will arrive here in Germany on Monday in one Week.
Unboxing video will follow.

Paymentgateway is now in the hands of Florian from Düsseldorf.
He is a great guy and you can expect news from his work regulary.

Thank you for the comparison.

This is the perfect moment to point out some differences between so-called-3.0-coins and EUROPECOIN FINANCE CLOUD API.
As an Example Ethereum (but there are many, others): It puts its technology into the coin itself.
This makes it an island among all the other coins. We took a different approach:

1) The core

- We equiped Europecoin with a IoT ready and 10 MB Blocksize
- We made sidechain by ready by implementing check-time-verify (see lightening network, which is based on that technology)
- We implemented DK3 double retargeting, for best "load-balancing " and secure diff mechanism and better sidechain capabilities
Because these properties we have a highly extensible, dynamic, connectible core, which does not need to "make coffee"

2) Features
Based on that innovative core concept we have been able to place all features outside the core, into a decentralized federated protocol.

- DAO catastrophe is not going to happen with this concept
- we are not an island, WE ARE THE HUB!
- we can effort to work with HTML5 without worrying
- Applications are not only Chain agnostic, but storage agnostic, you can save encrypted in a chain, but at the same time anywhere else.
- we can put everything everywhere and send it across different coins via hybrid technology
- adding other proven technologies is a means of an API wizard accessible to anyone.
- YOU decide to federate with other nodes, or use it in an intranet manner, YOU can use open policy ore decide to do it different
- If something should happen to Europecoin (not likely) the FINANCE CLOUD API isn't broken, it can switch
- we are adding ethereum features by adding ethereum and making Europecoin cross chain capable
- we (or better YOU) can add ANY feature

- HTML5 API (done)
- Javascript API (done)
- Python API (done - but needs adjustments)
- federation protocol (done)
- first blockchain storage function: (done, SIA technology, needs adjustments)
- cloud device prototype (current task, responsible member: Olaf / eta less than 2 weeks)
- paymentgateway (current task, responsible member: me and Flo / eta ~10 weeks)
- cloudwallet and elektumx server module: (freshest task, responsible member:me and Jan / eta we are just finding out)
- Connection to fiat (next task)
- Multiadministration backend (next task)
- hybrid network (current task, responsible team: Internet-of-Coins / Coinstorm.net in collaboration)

I see him doing deep research and showing real interest of getting the story right.
