Unfortunately, there's a darker side to all this as in the decentralized world where most names are still unregistered people will be using confusion to sell their product. People have been doing the same thing with domains for years and making money on people who do a typo and instead of entering google.com write gooogle.com (which is most likely a phishing site). We can expect more forked shitcoin in the near future. Maybe someone should make Bitcoin Crash since we already have Shitcoin Cash (BCH) Cheesy

The name Bitcoin Core for BTC is unknown to me. I don't know what is Bitcoin Core.
But I know Bitcoin for BTC and this is the only name and the original Bitcoin, any other is just an altcoin (BCH included in)
No one uses the name Bitcoin Core, and almost no exchange, wallet, etc list BTC as Bitcoin Core. Recently a guy listed all website listing BTC as Bitcoin Core. With like 50 famous sites listed (exchanges, wallets, etc) only 2 are listing BTC as Bitcoin Core. Guess which? Snap Roger Ver assets!

Glad somebody got on this and trolled this cat, he doesn't deserve a troll free world anymore. Also do note in BTCC twitter posting they even claim not be Bitcoin and say Bitcoin is the king. That alone should go to show that they aren't trying to usurp Bitcoin but rather giving credit to Bitcoin being #1.

Calling Bitcoin "Bitcoin core" makes 0 sense. I don't know why Ver came up with that idea as Bitcoin core is Bitcoins first party wallet, not a standalone cryptocurrency. Calling it Bitcoin core is like calling Bitcoin Electrum. It actually makes sense for these guys to create a coin called Bitcoin core, now we know what Ver is talking about when he says "Bitcoin core".

Yeah that's what I was thinking too when I read the article. It really sounds like this was made purely for the purpose of trolling Roger Ver and the Bcash community.

It doesn't seem to produce any form of hatred and negativities toward BTC but is rather spewing sarcastic remarks towards BCH's way. I don't think many will be fooled in buying BTCC thinking that it's he same BTC they know and the devs also advertised that they are the cooler cousin of BTC rather than an enemy.

You will just ignore that. If someone is taking the help of the name of some other celebrity he will not become celebrity. In the same way any project claiming it's coin to be bitcoin; it is funny in the same way as exampled above.

you dont get how the market works, the entire market is anti bitcoin, except those holding bitcoin and mining bitcoin, not even the bitcoin media has an interest in bitcoin support, they will all together break bitcoin deliberately because it will be in their opportunistic interest.

securities are the real deal in the long term as they are indirectly beneficial to all, which bitcoin clearly is not.
