I'm not trying to piblicize Guts, in fact I'm pro EventChain, I think their product is better and their potential, especially with the new partnership, is way higher. I don't get what problem you have. I agree that there are a lot if ICO's with nearly no real project, no problem which should be solved but EventChain tries to solve problems in the ticket sale market. So there is a real use case at all, which a lot of different projects don't have
You should take a look to the project before talk and spread useless fud. Like blockchain and ticket industry is such a if project with many possibility and a huge market. Eventchain has already a partnership with a iFlyer, an Asian compagny in ticket business who want to build a strong business around blockchain and ticket market. Try to read more before said a project is a non sense.

Yes, dev already confirmed their plans to enter European market, where there's obviously already a lot of interest for Eventchain.

I think the currently biggest problem are the bad news in the last two weeks, which affected the market still.
But nearly 25% in 1 day is still a good performance
If one or two big investors will join too it sells much faster. 25% isnt bad! And yes it was a bad timing to start this ICO now during all that China stuff.
Aventus had a much better bounty campaign and huge marketing that is what I miss here with EventChain.
So I really hope they increase there marketing!

Yes the timing for the start of the ICO was not ideal. ETH is loosing value atm so it seems a lot of people want to wait hence the slow start of the ICO. But I am sure the EventChain token-sale will be successful. It doesn't always have to be sold out in a few minutes.
Yes this a terrible time to have an ico, though a savvy investor that love high risk investment, might view it as the prefect time. You get in cheap with eth, sure it might keep dropping. or it might just double in price next week.
Of course, cheap ETH also means you can get cheaper EVC tokens. But people tend not to take these risks and want to wait till the price hits the bottom even though almost all of them will miss the perfect moment to invest
